Great farm hidden away in the beautiful rolling hills of Kentucky. It appears to be a very popular spot with scenic wedding photos, professional family photos and all sorts of events. Even with a lot of folks in possession of some very expensive camera equipment, its still a great place to visit for an afternoon with family or significant others. All of the staff was very friendly and courteous, the fried apple pie is AWESOME and so is their steak sandwich. My fiance and I drove down from northern Kentucky to take in the massive sunflower fields and we werent disappointed. There are tons of picture worthy areas all around, a market where you can purchase home grown produce, homemade jams, sauces, preserves and did I mention...fried apple pie!! It was a fun day trip for us and I can see us making a trip back there in the future.

It was very busy today but that was expected. Lines moved fairly quickly for things like tickets, and the gift shop/market. But the cafe line took a little longer. Booking tickets online ahead of time is a MUST! Some families werent able to get tickets day of. The play yard was excellent and both my youngest (1 yo) and oldest (almost 5) had a blast on all the different play things. We enjoyed our food, spent way too much in the gift shop and left with worn out children much satisfied. Thanksa

We picked a great weekend to go to this beautiful farm. Wish they had event map, showing where to go specifically for hay ride in relation to where the apple cannons were. Seems we walked the same area about six times. But staff was very helpful. Only other complaint, no radio to tell us what type of trees we were seeing. Beautiful place well worth the trip.

This place is amazing all year round! We visit Evans Orchard numerous times a year to pick fresh fruit and/ or a photo op with the family depending on the season. We came here during halloween time frame for pumpkins and apples for the fall and in the summer to take family pictures with the family surrounded by beautiful sunflowers. In addition, they have a store the provides you fresh picks of the day if you do not feel like being in the sun.My kids, age ranging from 1-13, absolutely loves the play area!!! There’s enough to do for all ages!

Very enjoyable place for a Sunday afternoon. Yes its a bit of a tourist destination as far as the store and prices, but we both enjoyed it. Hand sanitizer available, outdoor space nice to sit and enjoy the breeze. The kids looked like they had a blast on the playground, its well fenced. Not the usual playground equipment, I think it was constructed from wood and metal.

My grandmother, Nephew, Sister and myself visited the Orchard today its nice it always is. We love the apple cider donuts But the only thing that really needs some attention is the bikes on the bike track. There was several that were broken and you could tell they have been for some time now. And several broken plastic toys in the kitchen house and it could probably hurt a child .

We enjoy going every few years. The kids love it. IMO they need larger bathroom facilities and a 3rd line for food, and more shade. I am also not a fan of a 2nd ticket process for the hayrides. There is no real petting zoo here. The kid play area is the best I have seen in agrotourism but I wish such places offered more authebtic farmer experience and some guided tours. If you like these things maybe go to Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill and if you like do the adjacent hiking preserve. But if you want to wear out your kids and eat $7 burgers and $5 hot dogs... Well Evans Orchard is perfect for you.Oh and I wish they had a food truck or 2 like carnival food or steak sandwiches and ogle dogs, etc.Nothing is perfect. Have fun!

My family drove 2 hours today to visit the orchard to see the sunflowers and to play at the playground for the first time. We read the instructions and read that you had to buy tickets for two hours of play. However it didnt state that there were time blocks and that tickets could be bought in advance for certain time blocks. We didnt purchase tickets before we got there, because we assumed your two hours started when you bought the tickets. I realize this was our fault and an oversight on my part, however the information wasnt very clear. So when we got there and were told it was sold out our entire trip was ruined due to our 4 year old crying and saying her heart felt broken. Again, I realize this is something that wasnt clearly stated so my recommendation would be that they make that more clear in your post so that no one else drives 2 hours just to have a little one with a broken heart!

The first time I took my son to this farm and outdoor playground was 4 years ago and we have been a few times a year for play, a meal and a treat to take home a few times a year, every year since. So, I was willing to consider their explanations for their resistance to anti-covid measures (they are suing the state over them) and see for myself.I was there yesterday. Just doing a headcount from the parking lot showed they were very near their stated capacity, and that was only what I could see. There are always more people aroubd. It looked crowded. Their benefit of the doubt was spent right there. We will NEVER come back. Whether it is money or political grandstanding or both, they care only about that and not a whit for you.

Wonderful family fun and great kids activities. Not all activities/kids fun are necessarily the safest so parents be cautioned. A three bail high climbing maze sounds great for kids and is definitely fun, however, a fall from that height would certainly be dangerous. Beautiful fall setting with all the pumpkin patch pre-requisits.
