After parking it’s like a 5min walk to the lake, Great area to go swimming, and relax on a floaty. I recommend making a right once you hit the water and follow it another 5min down where you jump off some 10ft cliffs, if your into that kinda thing. The bottom of the lake is like solid rock so no gross mud.
A nice place for a quick walk. Theres place for fishing and a good walk. Nice place to sit down and watch the sun set. Closes at sundown. Easy to approach. Parking is limited closer to the trail but sufficient farther. Entry is free. Pets are allowed.
Beautiful sunsets on the horizon over the Texas Stone Quarry in the foreground. Kind of an interesting juxtaposition--still, well stop again. The dozens of cars pulling in for a view keep it family friendly :)
Super cool little gem right in our back yard.
This place is great! But, USACE needs to add more parking spots
Nice place...access to the lake- biking, walking and running trails a plenty
Signs say not to swim but people still do. Very limited parking maybe dozen or so. Free. No attendant. Deep deep water not as easy to get out and onto rock.
Great place for a short walk or a long hike. Trail wraps around the entire lake! There is a nice fishing pier not to far from the parking lot. Good place to sit back and relax or reflect if you enjoy nature. Knowledgeable park rangers at the office near by can answer your questions also.
Very hot but with a tarp tent its a good place to fish and swim
Best time to go is in the morning before all the teens wake up and take over. Overall great place to hop in the water or go on a walk without entrance fees.
Great access to Goldwater loop once you figure it out, signs or a clearer map would help!
Absolutley love this place. Went here as a kid and go hiking as a adult. Fairly clean. Beautiful views. If you havent gone, GO
I always have a great time at the overlook. As long as you dont mind having zero shade and plenty of water it is the place to go.
It is a beautiful place to visit and walk.
I wish online would update drove 20 mins get here and they closed the park
Great place to unwind in Vancouver. Nice walking trails and you can see several of Washingtons largest peaks. Carry water or fill your canteen at the ranger station.
Love this relaxing place that i almost forgot about, it has been years!
Clean professional park filled with lots of pathways.
Very nice trails. Sheltered from a lot of direct sun. Nothing terribly difficult terrain- wise, do nice to get the family out. Water at some of the fountains were questionable, so recommend bringing your own
Good scenary and great views of lake Georgetown Texas
Great swimming, clean, nice rocks. We got married here!
Puppies had a blast
Beautiful- however I went to fish and did not catch any :(
Its my hometown lake... I love it! Perfect for playing around on the boat, sitting on the rocks and some fishing.
This place has great lake access for fishing. There are also trails that go from one end of the lake to the other that start here. This lake is beautiful and really nice to use recreationally. There is no swimming area from this park but there is a lot to do here and you dont have to see people in their questionable bathing suits.
4 not 5 but Im here on work and did not get to enjoy the water
Great park and a good starting point for the Goodwater Trail.
Nice place to fish and swim!
Nice park, next to Georgetown Lake. Connect easily with all the walking areas.
Since I didnt really see the whole park, Im not going to give it a full give stars. Its peaceful, quiet, and beautiful. The embodiment of Texas.
Great spot to enjoy the view of the lake and do some casting.
Tons of local fisherman fish here and take undersize hybrid stripers everytime I have ever been there it would be good to start seeing a game warden out there to check every once in a while
Great vews
Overlooking San Gabriel River emptying into Dam
I love having all these different park accesses around lake Georgetown. This one has no camping only lake views and hike and bike trails. Tends to have more high school kids than some of the other parks but we were all young once.
Nice get away spot for the day
Nice park but a lot of trash cans full and around it. You need to pick it up .
Nice easy walk on the dam.
Nice park with covered areas for picnics and nice water access.
Nice to swim at. Awsome views but I hate the zebra mussels that have invaded.
Beautiful countryside. Lots of flowers this time of year (April, May, June)
Great trails for walking or biking. Restrooms available. Easy paved paths too
Is this place open for swimming access?
Great hiking trails.
Beautiful
Great view without any interference of other parties
Fun place to walk and swim. Loved it.
Great park, really nice trails and beautiful lake views.
Great time during memorial weekend there weren’t too many people and plenty of room to swim/lounge in the water! Worst thing is parking, VERY LIMITED, also DO NOT park in the tow away zones. They take it very seriously, buddy that came along parked in a tow away zone and they took it along with a bunch others
Great fishing spot and nice camping area
Love it beautiful place
Great trails for running, hiking and mountain biking. Clean and safe, patrolled by local police.
It was ok, not much to it and not someplace I would frequent. If they open the flood gates its a little bit more exciting.
Great place to hike and relax!!
Great place to hike, fish, sunbathe, swim and let your dog swim to his hearts content!
Quiet and peaceful place.
Great view
Nice park great trails

I love it here. Its so peaceful, spectacular view, and the lake is amazing.
Nice place to enjoy the GREAT OUTDOORS.
Great place to hike with your dog
Its beautiful... but make sure to bring shade..
Beautiful!
Great view
Beautiful park and lake
Everything was flooded and muddy. Bathrooms overflowing.
It was great
The only few places we can access the Lake Georgetown for free!
Super nice!
Beautiful view of Lake Georgetown
Out in Nature, what could go wrong!
