I just enjoy the fact that they are local and very nice people. One bartender (a tall guy with locs) gave me a tip on how to make a great drink using the black halo vodka. It is a place I have gone to at least twice a month to try new things for over a year now. Good prices.

Small distillery, but very cleanly done. Fan of the Smoked Texas Single Malt, which has an oak-smoked twist (not peaty, but should appeal to those who like that). Recommend visiting on Whiskey Wednesday.

Fun, clean, and tasty! The tour here is fun and interesting, and you cant miss the tasting! Thank you Tony for a great time! Acre Distilling has delicious spirits and great bartenders, along with a full service barista for coffee and other non-alcoholic drinks. Cant wait to go back!

My wife and I went to visit this distillery, as it was within walking distance from our hotel, and we wanted to take a tour. When we arrived, the owner and head distiller was dealing with the health inspector and could not give us a tour. He was very short with us, but I understand since he was dealing with a city official. We sat at the bar and did a flight of their spirits. The bartender was nice, but she was more worried about her friend who walked in. We asked for our check and it took her about 5 minutes. We were the only people in the place besides her friend.Overall, this place makes some good spirits, but didnt have an outstanding visit. Hence, the three star rating.

My husband and I had drinks and did the distillery tour....it was great. The location was easy to find. The building is beautifully updated without being pretentious. We chatted with the bartender and the owner. They were both delightful. We didnt eat but the simple menu had variety if we had not had dinner plans. What I saw served smelled yummy. The liquor I tasted was really well done...but I had to pace myself since I was driving. We bought two bottles to take him.....a great peach tea vodka and lovely whiskey. They really know what they are doing....have great stories about the history of fort Worth....and are sourcing lots locally. Cant be beat for the price....we totally recommend you go with some friends.

Located in the orginal hell’a half acre region of Fort Worth. I really really like this distillery! Probably the best one I’ve visited, or I may be partial to fort worth. The tour is worth taking, you get so many samples and a really great historical explanation of Fort Worth along with the description of how they make their liquors. They even give you a super cool glass thats actually worth keeping. Better than those beer glasses you get at breweries!Their drinks are made well and service is quick. I like the vibe and location. I want to do the tour again thats how much i like this place.Buy a bottle of their Peach Dream and Miss Addies, you wont regret it!

Do yourself a favor and book the tour. All done while seated at tables in the distillery production room, the owner and tour master does a phenomenal job at sharing his knowledge on the art of distilling, as well as a nice Texas history lesson about the area. This was unique from other tours we have done in the past and there is a passion behind the distillery that shows. There are a variety options to taste, based on your preferences and we all agreed, there is something for everyone - and a mixer just in case it doesnt resonate with you on first sip. We also had a couple lattes before the tour started, the beans were excellent! All around, solid location.

Great cocktails in downtown Fort Worth with an amazing tour run by their owner with fantastic info on historic Fort Worth. Nearly all of their drinks are made from ingredients that are made on site including the liquor, bitters, and some mixers. Make a reservation for the tour for a great weekend trip.

The owner personally explained his beautiful facility. The bartender clearly loves his job and was excited to describe each spirit on the menu. As we tried them he explained what we were tasting which made for a really nice experience while we were in town for the convention. Im sure we wouldnt expect this if they were busier but it was nice! I ended up leaving my bag at Acre and the owner called my cell (we had exchanged business cards) and offered to bring it to my hotel. So in summary, the setting is pubish and personal, service and hospitality was on point, and the drinks were very interesting and made for lovely conversation. Well done!

This establishment is amazing!! We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 Flights of Whiskey and Gin. The bartenders were extremely polite and courteous with their knowledge of the distilled spirits that is done there on site. Our side snack of Charcuterie & cheese was the best that we have had in a long time. A shout out to Tyler for mixing me a tasty Old Acre. We are looking forward to our next visit and many more.

Tyler, the bartender was fantastic. He was very friendly and informative. Its really a very nice space. Theyre technically considered only a tasting room at this point, so they can only serve what they make, but the mixed drinks that they do have are fantastic (and holy crap are they strong!). They distill their own gin, vodka, and Bourbon. They also have some infused moonshine... Very sweet and was difficult to get through a full flight... Tyler was kind enough to make me a dreamcicle flavored drink with my remaining orangecillo so it didnt go to waste.I really hope they are able to make it, because its really a nice place to go hang out with friends and grab a drink.

The Acre has some of the finest drinks in Fort Worth. The baristas source the finest coffee from Avoca, and they offer stellar distillery tours. The seating is more than accommodating and its 2 minutes from the Water Gardens. Perfect for an after-dinner drink, or date night cap. I couldnt recommend this historic place more.

Im sure this place means well, but I had a bad experience. As soon as I walked in I had no idea if I was to wait on a hostess or seat myself. I noticed others that arrived after me were caught in a similar confusion. The drinks are about $10 a piece. Im not against a $10 drink, but the bartender got sidetracked making my drink 3 separate times and physically looked confused when he came back to mine and was trying to remember which step he was on. Im not sure how one minute they were out of Sm/LG flatbreads, but then someone else from my table orders the size I was told they were out of minutes later and they were in stock. I think this place means well, but it seemed like they cannot handle any time of rush. Probably wouldnt visit again. I did like the atmosphere and the menus.

While on my morning walk to get away from the office I stopped in for a coffee. Made the mistake of asking the barista a question. While I was amused by her thinly disguised condescension it made me wonder if she was this dismissive of all her customers. There is an abundance of alternative coffee spots downtown so if you are like me, i.e. you take a walk in the morning and afternoon to stretch the legs and get out of the office, then do yourself a favor and pick one of the alternatives. I know I will.
