Great place to relax and take your mind off things. The trails are fun to walk/run/bike in and its not so difficult so great for those trying to start getting fit. Would love to see a pic of the mile marker on here tho but over all great place.

Great place to go for a walk, explore the quant waterfall,and great dock for fishing. Very clean and well taken care of. Easy access to dock,nice free parking,and paved paths to travel around on.

Love this park. Great scenery for photos, walks and more. I always bring my dogs and they love it.

Not bad... could use some cleaning up. If you have allergies this place has lots of pollen and things.... more than other parks.

Great walking trail, access to a hidden lake... no idea what was back there when I drove in. It’s now my regular walking spot and my place to relax.

Lots of potential here! The road can be kind of rough depending on your vehicle. My son absolutely loves the place. Weve been here multiple time this winter, and we cant wait to come during the spring! Just avoid golden hour if you dont want photographers everywhere!

Nice little fishing hole but wish there was a way to get a kayak to the water other then the 1/4 mile Walk to water. Park is busy for being so hidden off the dirt road.

A very lovely and serene location

It was under construction. Ill rate it again when its finished. I would like to know some history about the place. Looks like there was a homestead at one time. Also it looks like the beginning of Fossil Creek.

Nice mile walking loop, paved and kept free of debris, there is a short section near the lake that gets slick with algae on every now and then so watch out. Nice boat dock and pond. Nice areas to watch in a more natural setting. Small waterfall and creek.

Great place for baseball

A total oasis. Love this place. I hope they protect a large area of this land from development, its desperately needed as our population in the area continues to grow.

This was our first time visiting this park. Nice views and definitely a photographers spot.

Needs better entry road, at least more gravel and grading..

One of my favorite parks to visit. Beautiful views, walking trails, and pond. Only problem is a very small parking lot and the gravel entry always has potholes big enough to break an axle or swallow a small car.

This is a pretty nice park for walking and light fishing. If they could get the swamp growth out of the lake, this would be a 5 start place.

Best place for photographers, just if you go during the golden hour it will be swamped.

Like the size of these baseball fields. Many different ones and even some small ones off a bit to practice on. There are porta-potties near the farthest parking lot. Small walking trails are near.

This is a definite work in progress as the city devotes more funds and time to the development of this local park. Its going to have a dog park eventually and some sports fields too. Well see how it goes. Currently it has a nice lake, paved trail and picnic tables and area. Parking is limited however.

Easy to get in and out. Secluded.

Pretty scenery, nice walking path, clear water. There was a cottonmouth with its dinner right at the dock! Road getting to the park is pretty rough and will need some attention soon.

Went there to fish today... Horibble muddy weedy water off the Dock and lots of trash gather near the Dock in the water

Very nice to have this park going in close to home. Visited it for they first time today. Things I noticed that I liked, pretty views nice paved walk and trees left around lake. Things I didnt like, noticed two cars parked with people sleeping in them. Noticed that some more planning is needed for water run off so mud doesnt build on paved walks. Third thing i noticed was people using it as 4x4 usage. also noticed several spots dog owners let their dogs use paved walks as theirs dogs dumping zones. Please if you let your dogs go in the park, pick it up. hope negatives are fixed because this has the potential to be nicest park in area by a long shot. Good job Fort Worth.

This a very nice new park. Very clean and well maintained. Good place for fishing, walking, or playing.

Walking the concrete path in both directions we were able to get a 30 minute walk. This is a very boring park. Perhaps they have great plans for it but now its not worth the drive.

What a great park. The city got the property from a family who owned it for decades. Very clean and preserved lake. Keep it that way.

Will be a nice park someday. Sad that a very nice home and private property used to be at this site. Wonder what happened to the home.Also, City of Fort Worth Parks Dept. ineptitude is displayed on a small sign just to the right as you enter off of Blue Mound road. The sign reads: PARK IS OPEN TO PUBLIC - DUSK TO DAWN. That would be all night long....there are no lights at this park. I believe they meant to put: ....DAWN TO DUSK

Downgrading because I took my father here, bragging about this park, and discovered a huge part of the trail was closed off and the lake was overrun with algae.

Great place with plenty of room to let the kids play, take a bike ride or fish!! They are adding on 4 base ball and a soccer complex coming soon!!!

If they would put some money into this park it could be the best park in the city. Lived in the area for 9 years and barely discovered this hidden treasure last year.

I came back and edited my review since the last time. Its been over 6 months. The park is worse now. The grass isnt mowed and the dirt road to come in has hige potholes. This is an embarrassment of a park.Previous: One day I am sure well be able to give this park 5 stars. But as of today, no. There is a sidewalk walking trail, which was covered by the mud from pickups driving their boats down to the small lake. In addition, the pickup trucks going to the lake have caused there to be alot of huge ruts in the grassy field. There is not any drainage so water from the hill flows down over the walking path, which exacerbates the mud from the trucks. Basically, the path is unusable as it currently stands thanks to the trucks who drive their boats down and spread mud all over the walk ways. The park doesnt have a paved road to get into it and the dirt road that is there is already wearing down and has mud holes. And the field set up for a soccer field is also a mess. This is a disaster thus far and I hope that the city of Fort Worth really works to get the park where it should be.

This park has potential the fishing dock is horrible, due to hydros and moss its a huge pond I wish they would clean it up a bit..... I see crews out there daily so I know the park is young I cant wait until I see the final stages
