The Stockyard was great!! I never noticed the Longhorn steers staged throughout the area. I actually took a pic sitting on one. The cost was $5 for as many pics as you wanted to take. I was impressed with how tame the steers were.

Great family fun! Be there early to catch the running of the bulls. Stop by the air conditioned Museum. Take in a bull ride, maze, petting zoo, dinner & shopping. Something for everyone in the family. Plus you can get your upcoming rodeo tickets to make it an all day/evening event.

Wonderful piece of Texas history. Ed Brown, our tour guide, was amazing. Dont miss out on this attraction. I recommend making this the centerpiece of a days activity in Fort Worth with a tour.

The parking rate (We paid $7, but they had hiked the price to $15 mere hours later...) is near criminal. It does not function well as a historic site, and is more of a thematically commercialized shopping area.
