`Nice park one of the pond is called lake Ridglea Hills even though it does not label on the map.The lake is near the dog park but not in it. It is the biggest lake/pond in the park.

The pond is great. Must be a100 aware yards or bigger. So much land for the dogs to roam. Its clean and well taken care of. And the best part is that its free.

It was my dogs birthday and it was her first visit there and she had an amazing time the place is clean and its well kept up I would recommend it to anyone

Beautiful walking trails and a great shaded playground. The dog park is near by so there are often dogs -on and off leash- so be aware if thats an issue for you. Ammenities include port-a-potties and water fountains.

Convenient and interesting. Over 5 miles of trails on former golf course. Not crowded and good for birdwatching.

Excellent, large dog park with pond, agility area, wash station and shade/seating. Separated for small dogs and large dogs. The rest of the park has extensive trails and ponds, great for a run!

Weve been twice and its been just what was needed, a large place for the dogs to run and to experience other dogs which means that sleep better at night. Win for us all - our dogs and their humans, lol!

Cool little park by the dog park. I like taking my boys fishing to the little ponds they have around catch and release mostly bby catfish. theyre pretty nice spots quiet and clean.

Honestly, what more can you ask for in a dog park. This place is amazing. One of the biggest dog parks Ive ever been to. The pond in the middle is really what makes this park unique. Plenty of shade and seating for humans. Plenty of space to run, swim and play for dogs. We drove 1.5 hours to this place. Worth it.

Bring a towel!!! I dont care if your dog normally treats water like its the devil, bring a towel! Its a great park for how big it is and the dogs love the available water. Bath time is usually a must after visiting! But its all worth it because my boy LOVES this park! Owners are usually pretty good about watching their dogs too.

I love coming here but at times I’m a bit paranoid I’ll admit about bringing my dogs to any park because I have afghans. You are always going to find that one dog that is dominant and is going to test other dogs. I just wish people would bring dogs that plays well with other dogs.

Great park with plenty of space to relax, walk your dogs, and enjoy the play area with your children, very clean area... BUT BEWARE !!! THERE ARE PLENTY OF YOUNG KIDS IN THEIR SPORTS CARS AND MUSCLE CARS ACTING VERY DUMB

Huge trail park, great for walk/jog but there isnt a playground. Right next to enclosed dog parks. A lot of trash here and there and I would definitely not go after dark, theres no lights.

Big park, lots of dogs to socialize with. Bring a towel, not optional, Access to pond is open for dogs andvthey will get in. :)

Awesome dog park with lots of room for my dog to run and play with other dogs. Had a pond that he can jump into too! Also, great place to watch military planes come in for landing.

Excellent park for dogs and their owners to roam and enjoy nature...several ponds and small lakes with rolling fields and trees...takes me back to my childhood

There are separate play areas for big and small dogs and theyre double gated for those escape artists. The big dog area includes a pond that the dogs love to play in. And almost all the dogs we encountered here were very friendly and lovable with our big puppy. Most owners were responsible and picked up their doggy mess with the waste bags provided. Plenty of sun and shade areas including a gazebo with table and chairs. Both doggy areas also have training play areas. We are making this a weekly visit with our pup.

Great dog park for both large and small dogs. The people, dogs and maintenance staff are all wonderful. Only downside for me is that they are closed on Mondays for weekly maintenance

My happy place!

This is a nice place to relax and walk the dog. A picnic table or two or even a park bench fairly close to the car park would be nice.

My dad used to spend for 5 hours a day here before he passed and absolutely loved it. Ive been there a few times and they seemed like a great place if you want to take your animals for fun safe play.

Is a great walking trail for the area. Beautiful wide open landscape multiple ponds well manicured lawn. At the South End theres a fantastic dog park and great play grand for kids. I dont know that Id go walking around after dark though.

Just watch out for big obnoxious dogs without manners. There are some that will jump on ya and ram you in the face. Other than that it is great

Very nice clean dog park with lots of space. Large pond with fountains for dog to cool off in. Agility course and benches. Please keep an eye on your dogs as it gets lots of visitors and clean up after your dogs. Thank you. Also has a playground for kids across parking lot

A very well maintained park. The ponds and paths were very nice, and there was no visible detritus strewn about. I would not recommend visiting after dark, but there are very few public parks I would suggest doing that. All in all, if you are looking to have a picnic or a short walk during the cool of morning or evening, this is a great option.

The ponds have fish and I have a pole ,good times!

This dog park is fairly large with two sections splitting large and smaller dogs. The large dog section has a pond for the pups to play in, and obstacles in a different section. They also have a dog wash nearby if you want to give your fur babies a wash.

Love to the my dogs here. Z bones dog parks are at the front. It also has a very nice play area with a jungle gym for kids. The rest of the park is an old golf course. Perfect for a stroll with the family.

Wonderful variety of Grass and areas for looking at said grass. I mean what a wonderful assortment of Grass I was so enthralled with the grass variety I forgot to see if they had public restroom access. I forgot to mention I graduated from MIT with a PHD in Grass study bois.

Me and my dog love this place. Its real easy for us to get to. Since it does sit right across the street from my apartment complex so its a nice little place to go every once in a while to let her run and play while enjoy the sounds and sights of nature

Fantastic dog park with a large pond for your water puppies.

Nasty ponds. Lots of homeless and crazies.Big side is filled with mounds of huge dog crap that lazy owners refuse to pick up..small side is nice...nice large trails

This is a very nice place used to be a golf course has several ponds also two sections one for small to medium and or medium to large I dont understand why people dont clean up after their dog other than that its a pleasant place to be

Improving trails are making this park better than ever. Theres a dog park and playground around the corner -- and ample parking off Lackland or Camp Bowie. Enjoy this former golf course without paying any greens fees.

So fun! The dogs love the ponds and the dog park is so great! Hose for hosing them down before they get in the car, plenty of doo bags and trash cans, water fountains galore and a great atmosphere! All the regulars are friendly and the dogs are all adorable! If you go a few times a week, your dog will make friends and its so cute watching them see each other!

One of the biggest dog parks I’ve ever been to, amazing! It has covered areas with benches and tables for parents to wait for their dogs while they have fun and run around. Poop bags are also available to pick up your doggie poop. Two different ponds for two different size dog. Very clean and shut down on Mondays for cleanup and maintenance. This free spot cannot be missed if you have no. Aggressive dogs who love water and to happily roam.

My dog loves it... two areas for dogs at a lake one area for the dogs is is for small dogs larger area is for larger dogs very good setup I only wish that people would not bring their little dogs in there with dogs cuz you never know what can happen but is a great place there is water always available for the dogs and the place is clean.
