Fantastic museum. So much history you dont know. Cattle drive 11:30 and 4:00 everyday.
If you are anywhere near the Fort Worth Stock Yards its worth a visit. Theres so much history throughout the venue and most of it is free. Walk thru all the buildings, even the arena, which is free during the day when no events are going on. Theres a cattle drive twice a day. You really get up close and personal with the Longhorns. If you get there early enough theres free parking on the street. Otherwise its about $12 for the lots that are right on property. If you park free, just watch your time. Theres a two hour limit.
Great outdoor experience!!! Family friendly and nice community and restaurants, bars, shops, and dance clubs to choose from! A nice western experience... you can ride the train to/from Grapevine to enjoy the views and weather or choose the first class experience for the AC/heater option. Different activities to choose from which include but are not limited to rodeo events, petting zoo, riding ponies or a horse, a maze, or riding a longhorn for a picture ($5 usually), and just watch them going down the street at 11:30am and 4pmHave fun!! It would be nice for a date as well
Such a fun time. The longhorns walk right down the Main Street twice a day. Loved it!
This is a cool experience for the family
The Stockyards are certainly touristy but the people are kind, genuine and helpful. Love it and will go back.
Great place to take a family. Loved the Cattle drive! Lots of shops for souvenirs. Food at Risckys is awesome!
This is where Fort Worth became COW Town
