Beautiful! I paid $80 for an annual family membership as a one time visit was $36 for 3 of us. Happy to be able to go back. Stunning from start to finish. Indoor rainforest like garden, outdoor walks thru nature and rose gardens, and a stunning huge Japanese garden. Love it!

Been to many such gardens and we love this one. Has a lot of water features, pergolas covered in vines, wedding settings, coi fish, and gorgeous flowers. Have some childrens areas. Not costly to get in. Worth the drive to get there. Go with someone to experience the beauty. Make it a date or a family outing. Plenty of benches and handicapped access. We plan to return.

Terrible experience. We came on the 14th around 3pm. The lady in the front with the blue shirt was extremely rude, she kept yelling at us! Really difficult to talk to. Kinda refused to talk to us actually. Then we got to the ticket place. People in the ticket places kept telling us that we needed an 75$ Photo pass, we told them that we aren’t taking any pictures we’re just going to walk around. (We have already bought the tickets online already at that time). They still WONT let us go in. Another thing is it says on the website and the front door “No Mask No Service” but still a tons of people aren’t wearing a mask! Terrible service! Never come here again.

I loved it however the upkeep in the Natural Texas forest area needed to be checked. There was litter on the ground in a few places and it distracted from the calming nature the rest of the garden had. I particularly enjoyed the Japanese Garden but that should not draw too much attention from the beauty of the rest of the garden. If I return and the Texas forest area is a little bit cleaner I will update my review to five stars.

They will judge you based on your appearance and try to charge you for it. I came with a dress and the person with me had a suit. Its just how we like to dress and the weather was nice. We are asked if we are attending a wedding and we reply no. The lady at the register then starts to roll her eyes and says You two are dressed too extra so are you taking pictures? We said no because we have never been asked that, and how we dress is not related. She rolls her eyes once again and says Thats a camera in your bag right there and you are dressed too extra so Im going to charge you $75 for 2 hours so you can take pictures Excuse me? She ASSUMED there was a camera in there, and because of how I dress I need to pay $75? Needless to say, I put my camera away in the car and came back in. Someone else took care of us and didnt mention a thing about paying $75, btw I still had my bag. I took some BEAUTIFUL pictures for the cost of the entrance fee, NOT $75. Dont let these people rip you off. If you dress too extra and carry a bag, be discrete, or else you will have to deal with a disrespectful and presumptuous woman at the counter. Everyone comes here to take pictures, phone or camera, a photo is a photo.

A really nice place to go get some fresh air and a walk but even better place to bring a significant other along. This is one of our favorite places for my husband and I to go to. Its always quiet and the staff at the entrance are always friendly and helpful. They recently changed things and are charging a small fee to get in which is absolutely worth it to keep funding the gardens. I recommend checking out the Conservatory and the Japanese Gardens that are included in the entrance fee.If you go PLEASE throw your trash away at the nearest trash can or hold onto it until you can respectfully discard it. My husband and I always bring a small trash bag and pick up any small trash we see. Dont get me wrong, the gardens are clean but the staff can only do so much in a business day. We all must do our part to respect the gardens and keep it clean.

First time Ive ever been here. The gardens are absolutely magnificent, and the number of different gardens and trails is enormous. We could have easily spent half a day in the Japanese gardens alone, except the kids got tired. Despite it being the end of January, there were still plenty of seasonal flowers in bloom, and the the landscaping and trail architecture is gorgeous. Im certain the gardens are breathlessly beautiful in full bloom come springtime--the butterflies also return to the conservatory at the end of February--and I cant wait to go back to explore more!

Beautiful garden! Theres covid screening upfront. When they say tickets must be purchased by the individuals, they are very serious and not smiling as they expect everyone who are to enter at the counter at the time of ticket purchase. Last ticket sale is at 4:15pm, last entry is at 4:30 pm and you seriously have to exit at 6pm as the close the gate! A family needs at least 2 to 2.5 hours to walk around leisurly and checkout all the parts of the garden and take pictures. The Japanese garden is a must-visit, in case you want to take pictures that you can use on social media which none really care about anyways . :) Like all botanical gardens, this one is empty too, so good for social distancing and taking pictures!!

I cant even believe Im writing this review. I have come to this garden with my family since I was born. After the huge changes to begin charging admission, I thought the garden would improve even more. I was very sadly mistaken. My fiance and I went yesterday to take our engagement photos. We were greeted at the guest counter by two VERY RUDE customer service ladies. We had already paid admission and our photo session balance. Our photofrapher was already waiting in the Fuller garden to start. The crotchety pair reminded me three times that we had to be our of the garden by 6pm. WE GOT IT! Entering the garden I began to notice HUGE features that were in disrepair. Seriously broke my heart to see the garden in such a way...Our session was fun, but we felt extreamely rushed by the staff to get out.Dont know if Ill be back honestly!
