Ive been enjoying going to this park with my young niece! Not sure if its due to issues pertaining to COVID, but there is a lot of trash around the lake. Other than that needing to be cleaned up, the park is great for everyone! Lots of space, beautiful flowers, places in the shade, and a playground.

What an amazing park! It is federally recognized as a Historically Marked, and preserved property site. Its a park, with a pond and rose garden that dates back to the very beginnings of Dallas, particularly Oak Cliffs history and heritage.

Beautiful park with lots of animals. There are many different places to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful view. It is Very quiet, even though it is right off a main rode. You can sit and enjoy or take a stroll with many turns and fun paths. Only thing that was a little crazy was that the ducks followed us. It looks like people typically feed the ducks and so they follow people expecting food - please don’t feed the ducks!

Very cozy! Not crowded. Nice pond. Good trail to run. Dogs were on leashes.

Nice large serene park, with a lake, and some aggressive ducks, lol. Can tell theres gentrifying of an older urban area happening. Nice rest stop while checking out Dallas south side.

This park has something for everyone. Basketball, soccer, n tennis court are for older kids, playground for younger kids. Jogging path is great with city n lake view. Neighborhood is full of historic type architecture/houses. Love spending time here.

Big park. Lots of sidewalks. Lots of old structures. Old restrooms are blocked but there are a few portables.

We enjoy having services here. HEARING THE WORD OF GOD IS ALWAYS A GREAT DAY. And we always clean up any mess in the area we meet. sundays at 10a.m by the Rocket

It is a very quiet park, I recommend it, it is worth taking a walk through it!

Beautiful park. With kids playground, basketball, tennis court, lake, softball. Plenty of greenery and views to downtown.The only thing that could improve it is more exercise equipment. It only has to do pull-ups.

Tennis courts have lights. Also soccer and basketball courts. Great park for exercising.

Ive been here to give it a dangle. Located some fish, but lots of trash in the water. The park itself is a nice place to walk and play sports.

Beautiful spot in nature where my boyfriend and I frequent. Many spots around the lake to explore. Beautiful flora and occasionally fauna. I am planning to get married at this captivating park!!

My visit was going fine until my kids and I were harassed by a stray dog. Otherwise the park was decent.

Nice park to walk around. There are is a space with swings and slides for kids. Across the street there is another park with frisbee-golf

Really nice place with a big lake and fountain... playground and space parties and gatherings. The downside is that is of thrash and homeless people lurking around coners... or sleeping on benches... if only the city would care more about its parks, but I guess thats Dallas for ya....**update** theres human waste in one of the rooms ... Id stay out

Or had been a few years since I have been here, but I an impressed with the updates. Theyre are new walking trails, many more new park benches to enjoy the scenery, there are also many more picnic tables as well as BBQ grills. The childrens playgrounds have also been updated. I would recommend spending an afternoon there with the family.

A park with walking paths and a pond. There is an amazing amount of trash in the water. The park could be cleaned up better.

I am so lutely love Lake cliff park Ive been going here since I was a child Im now in my fifties and always has a good time , Great place to take the family or just have a picnic.

My children love this place. I was able to get a quiet mom moment. We all had a great picnic and wonderful time here.

Hidden gem in Oak Cliff

Been fishing here now for over a month. The fishing is great but the condition of the park and the waters is nowhere close. Trash literally covers the coast line around this whole park. It appears as though the city will cut the grass but thats it. Recently a political candidate gave a speech here and Im embarrassed for the city because of the shape of the park. Unfortunately this seems to be a trend in Dallas though.

This was a beautiful, clean, very picturesque park. Its about a 20 minute walk around the outside of the park, with several hills and trails going through the center. Its in a nice quiet area.

I grew up about 2 miles from the park my mom used to drop me and my brothers off to go fishing what great times.

Perfect weather. Perfect park.

Sometime there are sketchy people here but they don’t bite :)

This park was awesome for small children! Has a baseball field and plenty of space for other sports. There were even ducks and turtles to watch in the lake! Great place for a picnic and fun with the family!

Great spot to bring the kids! Play on the park or the baseball field, basketball and tennis court or go fishing in the nice little pond that I personally fish alot and always catch some good bass also catfish!

Its a decent park with a decent playground with not nearly enough shade. The playground has not had much maintenance done to it in recent times as a lot of it is covered in graffiti and or burnt plastic. There is also a pond / Lake that feeds a creek / river that is almost always nasty as hell with trash and other debris. Essentially its just one big breeding ground for mosquitoes in my opinion ( the river / Creek) not the playground. there are a few nice Pavilions for picnicking or hosting a event or party.

Wonderful, and excelent for walking.

I drove around the park while sightseeing in the Dallas area. There are few easy places to get great night horizon type photos for visitors not familiar with the area but this park has some potentially great vantage points. Free parking seems to be plentiful around the park. There is a playground area and room to walk/exercise while there.

Beautiful park! This is w great place to either go fora walk, take your children to play in the playground ot throw a party. My spouses cousin had a baby shower there this weekend and it was beautiful!

Nice And Clean Environment

It could use some more TLC from the city. The rose garden was pretty dead. The fountain had a really shallow water level and was really dirty. The groubds were nice. The water and the nature thats there is nice for being in the city. Nice place for a tiny amount of nature without having to drive far.

Well Lake cliff park is not as good as it used to be the light sir burned out over there by the the Lake and the restrooms are out of order and the fountains do not Work But it is a good place to walk your dog because one lap around the park is exactly 1.1 miles so my dogs get plenty of exercise But I wish they would fix the lights that way it would be more safer especially when you walk around 10 oclock at night
