This is a great place. I have played hockey for years here and the ice is good, and dressing rooms are solid. Additionally, there public skate is good and cheap and the rental skates are on the better side for rentals.

Nice rink and the staff has been great!The only downside is that it seems every pair of skates I rent have no edge (this is the reason for only 4 stars). I grew up playing hockey so I can skate pretty well -- and I prefer an edge that allows me to turn quickly and go a bit faster (maybe thats why I am a bit more picky). Once I get my own pair all should be fine.Lastly, and this is not really a downside, the few times Ive been there it has been somewhat crowded. Of course, it is over the holiday period so lots of people are home during this time.

Nice rink and sticks to the basics. Vending machines and no concession stand. Friendly employees and always clean. Lock your car in the parking lot and remove valuables as its a busy parking lot.

This indoor ice skating rink is open all year. Its super cheap, only$2 to rent ice skates if you dont have them, and$2 to ice skate. I went with my step daughter and we had a blast!! They have a schedule to check out available times. Have fun and be safe!!

An extremely fun ice skating rink. They have quality skates for rent and great prices. I went here my first time ice skating and I can assure you that I will be going back! 10/10 Highly recommended!

The rental skates were rough, 7 of us went and only one of us were comfortable in them. They just dont fit well and its not the size. Other than that, the staff was nice, prices are fair, venue was good. Bring your own skates and I think itd be perfect!

Its a great place to ice skate but I thought Glow Skate night meant more than two tiny disco lights in the back. Also, their rental skates are extremely uncomfortable. My ankles and sides of my feet were screaming after just a few laps!

You can get some good ice at a great price if you plan accordingly. And they put the calendar up for download on the website. I really like the consistency of Sertich. Probably the most public ice options south of Palmer Divide!

The city run rink gives a Colorado Springs a community rink which makes it feel like a family more than another training center.

The staff was so wonderful. I would suggest this venue for all of your birthday parties. Very reasonably priced.

This is the second time weve ever taken our girls ice skating and they so enjoyed their surprise today! Sertich is family friendly with ice seals to help with stability while learning. We will definitely be back!

I hate leaving a bad review. I loved this place as a kid. I easily dropped 3 stars because they dont provide buckets anymore for the little kids to lean on while they go around the rink. Instead they now have plastic seals you have to rent for $7. I asked why they dont have buckets anymore and the employees told me cause the started breaking. Anyway this resulted in little kids falling all over the rink and people tripping over them and getting hurt.

Nice rink. Ice is good. Been here for a couple hockey tourneys for my boys. Their locker rooms are on n the small side. Seem to have a good skate program there. Lots of seating for viewing the ice. Great accessibility for wheelchairs and strollers. My younger kids had a good time watching the game fron the stands. I like that everywhere is padded so theyre blades dont get messed up.

I Love Sertich Ice Rink in Memorial Park in Colorado Springs. Its a great place to have fun for the whole family. We had two birthday parties at Sertich for our daughter, Logan, when she was in elementary school. Everyone enjoyed it, and it was inexpensive. For kids that cant skate they stack buckets and slide them on the ice to steady themselves for a couple laps till they get confident enough to go on their own. They have staff on the ice monitoring everyone making sure there are no problems and everyone is safe. A few things that would improve it in my opinion would be a better sound system, dj, and music selection and a snack bar.

I can bring my 11 year old, 9 and 5 year old here, anytime and we all enjoy it

Ice skating in the summer is the best activity. The public skate times are a little funky but it’s understandable since they have leagues and lessons. The price can not be beat and I’ve never been where it’s busy. There is always room to skate. A great affordable family friendly activity.

What a fun place to entertain my grandson!

Very nice staff . Nice ice. However, one major complaint . Public skates, thats what they are meant to be. We have been there quite a few times due to the lack of ice rinks in town .Hockey skaters seem to like to use public skates for their personal speed skate. I have seen a few different people doing this .This last time I saw three different hockey skaters loose control and plow people over . It is quite crowded for public skates, and there is beginner skaters .I dont think its right that people go racing around the rink with a ton of little kids.

Visiting here during matinee is very affordable and worth every penny! The ice is taken care of very well, it was not crowded, and was very enjoyable. I highly recommend this ice center!

I was there on a public session to get in some practice time before a HUGE figure skating competition. But guess what? They would not allow me to do anything remotely figure skating related. Ok for public skaters (beginners), or hockey. In my opinion, not a good rink for figure skating.

Great place to take the kids for some fun exercise. Its pretty cold. I recommend gloves, hat & a jacket. There seem to be a lot of leaks so watch out for the buckets & barrels all around the rink. There are all levels of skates from never skated before to obvious professional but everyone seems to get along.

I grew up skating here and I was very happy to see that it is still thriving and in good condition. The staff were friendly and attentive. I went on a really busy day but it wasnt so crowded I couldnt skate. Had lots of fun and really enjoyed sharing it with my almost two year old son.

At memorial park I think that this place... was... great it was a little expensive but that’s okay

Nice rink. Couple issues: the have b-day parties during Open skate so lots of buckets on ice. Figure skaters also like to skate with public & practice out if center. There needs to be skate time for ADULTS ONLY & no figure skating outside center when public is on ice. Way....too much going during a measly 1 1/2 hour of public skate time. Perhaps making more hours available as well.

Great value, about $10 per adult and $8 for a child for an hour and a half of skating plus rentals. They probably have the best rental skates Ive ever used.Make sure to check the public skate calendar before you go (in PDF form on the citys website), its not public skating all the time.

My son plays hockey at Sertich. He prefers the ice over world arena because their are less toe picks from the ice skaters. They also have an elevator for those in wheelchairs.

Im an adult beginners learning some hockey game. I like everything about this place, but I have nothing to compare to. I play pickup hockey and stix pucks on Sundays , lots of fun. Ice is in good condition. Never noticed any of the complaints other people have posted here.

What a fun and well priced place for ice skating! I had so much fun and did not have to blow my wallet . theyhad lots of cool events going on. However when going to buy a coffee, the machine ate my money and gave me a squirt of creamer in the cup I spent $5 on. I went to the desk and asked if they could either refund me or get the coffee and they laughed and told me they didnt legally own the machine and couldnt do anything to help. Was pretty rude and I didnt get a great vibe off these people.
