Parking is small, but you wont spend a long time here. Its more of a stop and take a picture kinds place. My nephew enjoyed climbing rocks, so it was neat.

One of my favorite memories of this park from when I was a kid, was the balancing rock. Now my kids will have a fun memory to recall from when I when was able to bring them while they were still kids. Such an amazing formation that has withstood all thrown its was for decades. A must add to your bucket list!

Beautiful scenery if you like the outdoors. There are multiple trails to walk or you can drive the park and see lots of rock formations. Plenty of beautifully photo opportunity. Its absolutely perfect for the nature love . I highly recommend a visit if your close by or plane a visit if you can . Loved it !!

Very beautiful place to go if you enjoy nature as well as hiking. These parks feature amazing rock formations that have been remarkably created over hundreds of years due to erosion. Includes a lot of hiking trails, scenery walks, horseback riding, tours, and many more! Would definitely recommend to check out if visiting the Colorado Springs area!

Cool. They have mortar on this rock. I guess it was reinforced or something else like that‽ Why‽ Its not so cool if its not natural, & now I wonder, especially after learning that the Manitou Cliff Dwellings arent even from Manitou Springs! There was our 1st time going to see the balance rock it was beautiful me and my family enjoyed it. We also Took a tour with Augustus All around the park and into the city it was an amazing experience

What a magical way to spend a Saturday. If its your 1st time be sure to check out the visitors center and watch the movie of how the rockies were formed it cost $6, its worth it!

Cute place for some photo ops. They encourage you to wear a mask walking around. If you have difficulty walking you will not be able to get to the rock. Within the garden of ths gods.

When visiting Colorado you MUST make plans to visit Garden of the Gods. Possibly even more than once. It’s simply breathtaking. When I was a child we took a few vacations to Colorado and visiting Garden of the Gods is one of my most favorite childhood memories.We were able to take our little guy there this year and he just loved it!Pictures don’t do it justice. You have to see it for yourself!

If you have never been here and you like to hike, this is the place to come to. People from everywhere come here. They have an outpost gift shop. They have tours, but why would you want to do that ? You can drive it, and enjoy the scenery. I was born and raised here, parking is free. Take your time, take pictures, keep on the lookout, cause you will see deer. Be careful driving, cause they will walk in front of you.

I love bringing my out-of-towners to Garden of the Gods. It’s always beautiful (even in winter)and accommodates all levels of physical capabilities. Go to the welcoming center! They will be happy to tell you what the park is all about. It’s mind blowing! 3 suggestions: 1- Visit the paved garden. It’s perfect for those who want to experience nature but may have difficulties with being able to hike or if you have little ones, strollers or wheelchairs. 2- Go off the paved path and up above the main road. You will have a great view of the garden and have a nice trail to hike on. This trail is perfect for the person who is new to the elevation but would like something more challenging then the paved sidewalks of the garden. (Kids can rock this out too) 3- Get your tourist picture at the balancing rock. Pull in, snap a quick shot or climb up a bit to the dirt road and explore behind the rock.

Garden of the Gods is a wonderful place to visit, so many beautiful rock formations. Many hiking trails and a really nice visitor center that has some very educational displays.

Felt like a kid again! Had the best experience walking and climbing through the rocks of Garden of the Gods with my friends while visiting Colorado. Would highly recommend every visit to Colorado to come here!

Awesome sight to see. Lucky it wasnt crowded due to Epidemics occuring randomly. If you plan on using an RV or bus, dont drive by it, a bus got stuck a few years ago.

Its a balancing act!!!! It was a perfect day for us to stop along our way home. Due to time crunching we didnt get to hike the many trails in the park.

Balanced Rock in Garden of the Gods park is so very interesting. The different angles would surprise you. You might not think you are looking at the same rock formation. Enjoy Gods Garden and His marvelous intriguing creations in red rock sandstone.

Great place to go and chill. Beautiful views. Parking is a bit rough, recommend to ride a motorcycle if you have one.

So many people there and almost none of them being cautious about social distancing or masks. Id say a good 90% where not adhering within such close proximity to that rock. We left immediately.

Garden on the Gods is A must see, theyve done an amazing job preserving history! Beautiful drive and plenty of opportunities to get out climb and explore! Its free but dont forget to leave a small donation at the trading post!!

Pretty nifty place of you ask me. My only problem is the amount of people who were here. I was expecting there to be a very limited number of people due to covid still plaguing the world, but that was not true. There were loads of people, not respecting social distancing by a long shot, kids running rampant, and a lot less mask wearing as well. I chose to stay in my vehicle rather than risk exposing myself and or my family to the virus. Anyways, its not the parks fault by any means. People need to make better decisions in their lives and not continue this whole me first notion...

This is a wonderful place to site see, or just visit for the walking paths.

This place is legendary. I heard about it from the locals and boy you will not be dissappointed if you make a trip out to this venue. Just driving up to it is breath taking. This venue is where many famous bands and musicians perform. But dont let that fool you into thinking that just because there isnt a concert going on, its not worth your time to check it out. On the contrary, youll want to check it out top to bottom. For starters it is amazing to see the massive red rock formations in to the colorado terrain. Its almost as if it was dropped in from outer space because the rest of the landscape is devoid from it. Secondly, it has a fantastic museum and the breadth of scope these monolithic red rock boulders take in that landscape and the way the ampitheatre was built into it is awesome. There is a lot of history there as well. I never heard of it before and now I want to make sure I attend a concert here soon. I understand that the accoustics are phenomenal. I also heard its freezing during the winter months, so I better pick the spring, summer or fall. Im sure you will fall in Love with this place. If you go on a concert day I would suggest arriving a couple hours before so you can check the whole place out before the event begins and make sure its well before dark so you can see the magnificent sunlight hitting the red rocks. This is one of the many places to stop and take some pictures at the Garden of Gods. I could spend many days here and still not see it all.

Beautiful place and when i visited the weather was great. I would suggest to visit during a good and warn weather. Also its very easy to follow the maps. Its really lives to its name garden of the gods.

Nice place for a scenic drive. Free entry into the park with paved two way road going through the heart of the rock structures. Hiking trails available also.Balanced Rock is unfenced area so you can touch and or stand near for good photography.

Right off the road so its very easy access for just about anyone. Beautiful views and formations. Only thing to watch is very little parking unless you are willing to hike in.

Visited this area while driving out if the park. There are only about 15 spaces total, so you might get shut out.The road sort of bisects the rock formations. Drive slowly through here. All sorts of humans crossing the roadThere appears to be a gravel road above this formation which might be a good hike if you plan it out.

Best thing at GOG is FREE to the park. You can drive yourself or pay to ride the shuttle.

Great place to stop for pictures and capture the views - you can explore the area and boulder to your hearts content - theres a decent amount of parking and a few handicap spots as well. Other amenities are close by but because of the openness wear sunscreen or a hat during summer months as it can be brutal at times - ride safe Kg

This was a very fun place to visit. Kids were running having a great time, beautiful sights . A must see.

Trip to Colorado was great in a wholesome. Must visit once.. depending on what kind of weather you prefer.. I visited in July and it was perfect.. some people prefer mid to late-October/ November. All drive-able places nearby. Can also choose to hike some close-by trails around.

Neat photo op, and a must see in Garden of the Gods. Theres a lot of those, now that I think of it... but yeah check this out. Its like the bean in Chicago, except its nature. And not a mirror. And in Colorado. Not like the bean at all actually, nevermind.

Such a fun trip! Perfect for any age! They have easy trails and more experienced trails! I love it! And so do my kids!

I simply liked this place in fact whole Garden of gods. What is most amazing part is that you have the map and you need to find the places and recognize the rocks. Each rock is very different and have different visibility from all sides. Specifically balanced rock is amazing structure and most visited one from this park. Try to b ter either in morning or evening time to get better pics... photos which I added does have balance rock and boat as well .. best luck finding all the rocks and structure. It was amazing place.
