Love this place. So many things to see. Its not a very fun museum but its packed with everything you want to see and more. I think this is a bit better than going to actual ghost towns, minus scenery and atmosphere. We were super impressed with this place. Love it and definatly will be back. We highly recommend this museum.

Really great place to visit! Lots to see and while we did feel like the stores and house were representative of the richest people in the west, we appreciated the variety of items. Took us about an hour to get through all of it. We do recommend bringing quarters with you so you can try out the fun stuff in the saloon!

A Lot of the things were out of order or broken. You need quarters to enjoy some of the extra self playing exhibits like Gypsy fortune tales and photo slide shows. Not many people carry change anymore. Somethings really were fine but disappointed. First time in Colorado, do you really have moose here I seen a lot of moose stuff.

Fun museum with a replica town thats been reassembled from actual historical buildings. The buildings include some animatronics with sound, so make sure you push the buttons by the doors of the shops to activate the entertainment. The museum also has some old-time candies for purchase and some really neat antiques in the shops. Definitely worth the price of admission.

I know that COVID has been hard on small businesses, but I was disappointed that several of the exhibits werent working. It had some really cool things though. It was interesting to see the relics of days long past.Note to owner.. I intended on marking as 5 stars. So sorry for the mistake! I have corrected, and my apologies. I stand by what I said; It was so cool to look at relics from days long past.

A fun place to go to check out the Wild West. What the businesses and houses looked like and the clothes of that era. They have a panning for gold activity that is run during the summer and an educational movie that tells you about the life and times of the era. Definitely a must for all ages.

This is an ok place to visit if you want to see the history of old-time Colorado. You can spend about an hour-and-a-half here before you have seen everything. When going through the gift shop it has your typical Colorado touristy trinkets.Just beware when youre going to buy the candy as every single bit of candy we bought was all stale and old. I bought some old favorites from when I was a kid and every bit of it was OLD!

This is such an interesting museum! My kids (ages 3 & 5) were a little bored, but my husband and I loved it. Had it not been for restless children, we couldve stayed much longer than we did in order to really discover all the artifacts. The owners have have done an incredible job setting up this old town that feels like you are stepping back in time. We enjoyed the interactive parts and the commentary. Its nice that its mostly all indoors since it was pouring rain. Unfortunately, because of the rain, the kids mining section was closed, but still a great time! Dont miss this place!

Was skeptical at first but turned out to be neat stop. Having been to Bodie, CA its hard to beat that historical value, but this was a little different. They brought parts of buildings inside to keep it from deterioration of the elements. This had lots of different wagons and a small old town feel with each room decked out in Era specific furniture and accessories. Made you feel what it might have been like back then. Worth the stop.

This place isnt very big, but it has very big ideas. I think every kid from Colorado Springs should you go here. Theres a lot of local history and things that have been passed down from local families. Theres a few Adventures mining for gold if you go on warm days. It only takes about an hour or so to make it through the Museum, but its incredibly worth it. And the price is very fair, especially compared to most events nowadays

Went in with low expectations and was surprised. They have done a remarkable job of finding old memorialbilia. Even more surprising is how many of the photo machines, music players and other items work. Yes they require additional quarters to play them or see but they are worth it when you consider the history or them. Its great for showing the kids how people used to view photos. The music layers were phenomenal. Overall, definitely worth a stop!
