Very cool tranquil place with some amazing rock formations made centuries upon centuries ago. Definitely a must see once. Clean and well preserved due to the blocked off walkways. The monstrous Pikes peak in the background really make it a dramatic mesmerizing place to just sit and take in nature. I’d rather the city not have touched the grounds by making concrete walkways and paths in and around the garden but it did make for an easier walk I suppose. Very good spots for pictures andjust an easy relaxing experience taking in natural beauty. I feel like it could’ve been left more untouched that what is was for such a natural wonder of Colorado.

An absolute must if you are in the area! Free park entry, beautiful sites, and clean facilities. You can drive around and just pull off if you are not much of a hiker, or if you do hike you could hike all day long. Everything is very impressive and much bigger than you expect. I highly recommend you come here if you are anywhere near the area, it is well worth the time

A must see. I will definitely be back to walk the trails and explore more next time I make it back to Colorado.I highly suggest taking the off-road trail through the park and into Pikes Peak National Forest. The views are amazing, and the roads arent bad. We were in a stock Jeep, but we seen people in cars driving. Not saying it doesnt get bad, it just never did with us, at least at any part we went to. (We stayed straight, and came straight back out)

The actual visitor center was decent but the gift shop could have been better. The maps were slightly for the trails but thankfully the trails are pretty much a big circle so youll eventually get back to the beginning even if you get lost.

Was able to take pictures at some of the best spots and ride through the entire park. We also hiked 10+ miles of trails on separate days. Every time I visit Colorado, Garden of the Gods is a must-see. The visitor center does their best to control crowd/foot traffic, but there are a lot of people. I ran in to use the restroom (clean!) And quickly decided to head out to the trails, as I wanted to maintain a good social distance. It was the most overcast Ive seen it, so the tops of the rocks were up in the clouds. It was very tranquil. Make sure to bring warm clothing, as this is pretty high up in the Rockies.

A friend recommended this place, and I am so glad we went. It is an astounding site to see! I love that it can be a quick trip via vehicle and/or a longer visit via trails. I would highly suggest trails; you get different views from different angles. Not to mention, you can go more at your own pace as opposed to not feeling rushed as you drive around with traffic behind you.If you do decide to walk, parking around the trails was atrocious! There was a little bit of availability in the larger parking lots closer to the trails. The visitor center seemed to be guaranteed parking if you dont mind a little more of a walk.By no fault of the park, we tried to go into the visitor center just to use the bathroom and there was no way I was standing in that line! I was told to go before 10 am or after 4 pm and its not as bad. Unfortunately, the bladder didnt care what time it was! Almost after it was too late, we did realize they had a mobile restroom in one of the bigger parking lots.

The park was PACKED when we arrived by 11am. The bottom parking lot was completely full so we drove up a bit until we got to a parking lot that was by the restroom and platform. It would probably be better for you to get there as soon as it’s open so you can hike up. We didn’t get a long hike since we skipped the line. There are so many photo ops. I feel like we couldn’t get to all the cool parts of the park since there was so many people.

One of the best places in the world. There is a lot of fun and exciting trails, walks views, and more. Parking can be a little crowded, but you can avoid the main entrance parking and use some other parking lots. If you have to, you can park in the dog park at the entrance near the visitors center. Good trails for bicycles or walk/run. It has a full concrete sidewalk going all around the central attractions that is great for anyone who uses a walker or wheelchair. A must-see if youre on vacation. Lots of photography opportunities at every corner. If you have the time, balancing rock on the way out of the park going west (Manitou Springs) exit. Garden of the Gods Park and Visitor Center is amazing. The views from both ends are spectacular. I would visit again because I did not see everything I needed to see on the map.Getting to the park was fairly easy with Google Maps. Parking is limited but ample space majority of the time. Views are spectacular.Due to weather conditions, we came on two separate days: one for the visitor center and the other for the park. The exhibits at the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center were very informative. We even watched a show in the Geo-trekker Theater. If you are debating whether to visit the Geotrekker Theater, do it if its open. It is well worth your money and time. When we ventured to the Garden of the Gods Park in Colorado Springs, it was beautiful but not as amazing as I expected the day prior. It was too crowded, so a suggestion would be to arrive as early as possible, to avoid the crowd. If this place is not on your must-visit list, you should add it primarily because its free and its an experience worth experiencing.

The unique views that are set in this natural wonder cannot be surpassed if you have an infinity for the mountains. Either on the main trails or decide for a little more challenge on the horse trails there is never the same visit twice. Pikes Peak stands tall above the park with the spines of the park leading up to the mountain base. Another vantage of the park is when Air Force football is active. The fly overs happen above the park, so photographing a B-52 or other aircraft flying in front of the peak is always an opportunity. You have to follow park rules: stay on the trails, clean up after family and animals, and no base climbing. To vertical scale in the park one must check in with the ranger station. People being stranded on the face of kissing camels is not a new event, but if you get caught up, then guarantee a lot of attention, period. From young to the old, I have never heard Im bored. Garden of the Gods is a must visit if you journey to Colorado, and especially if you are coming direct to Colorado Springs...
