This wasnt a very large science museum, and the staff wasnt that friendly. There was this older guy just kind of lurking behind us but wouldnt really say anything and was a bit creepy. The features were outdated and most of them were either turned off or broken. It was quite lackluster. Only gem we found, only because of us is in school majoring in physics, is the clipboard with the formulas.

Just visited for the first time today. I had some questions that two of their staff - Ken and Derek, had taken the time to sit down and answer for me. I am so grateful, they were so knowledgable and just so fantastic that I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate that they took the time to help me. It was really great Aside from that fantastic experience in itself, the displays they offered and the sos were amazing. Great staff, great place, and if you have not had the chance to visit yet, go for it! You wont want to miss out on this experience.

The best part, is its cheap! Only 10$ for an adult, and if your military you get half off! I brought my parents, my 4 year old and my 1 year old. Everyone had a blast! Theres a lot of interactive things for a 4 year old. The build your own rocket and launcher was popular and the build your own booster, as well as the tinker toys. The giant foam blocks were also a hit. The coolest thing I thought was the huge globe projector that they taught about different things about the planets. I loved this place and Im 31! My 4 year old cant wait till we go back. We stayed for 3 hours, and never got bored. It wasnt busy, and the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended. Also, the gift shop was not overly priced at all! Very reasonable. Awesomeness.

What a neat museum. Loved the interactive robotic room! Staff was fantastic and engaging and created a mission for our boys. Lots to see and do and hands on stuff throughout the museum. The VR room was pretty cool too! Interesting and unique displays throughout the entire museum. Some things I have never seen before we saw here today. And we travel the country all the time. #narrowroadschoolers

The space foundation has lots to offer. You can go and spend a day to have fun with your family. Or sign up for a workshop or camp. They also have a decent sized meting room that you can rent to host a private party.

We visited the Space Foundation for the first time today and we were so impressed. This is the kind of place I dreamed of going on a field trip! My four kids were so enthralled with all the interesting and interactive things to do here. We took this day to do a home school field trip and it was so worth it! The kids learned tons about space and Science and the tour guys that helped us out were exceptional thank you to Jim and Quinn.

For adults, this is a very quick and simple visit. The models are really neat to look at, but beyond that this place is definitely designed for kids, which is awesome. For 10$ you cant really complain. Hope they have many school kids coming like we saw while we were here, really neat to see the younger generation get involved with space

The Discovery Center is an awesome place to spend an afternoon. Although the center can be considered small, there is plenty to do. The Space on a Sphere presentation is very cool, and the VR experience of the Apollo 11 mission was amazing. My Son and I easily spent 4 hours here, and he still did not want to leave. The Staff is AMAZING, they are friendly, respectful and most importantly, very knowledgeable. The Discovery Center is well worth the admission price.

We had kids ages 8 and 11 as well as 3 adults. We all found so much to do and we wished we had more time. We watched a presentation that was very clever and interesting. We explored exhibits that allowed hands on experiences and saw many interesting images that were brilliantly and colorfully printed.

My daughter has been fascinated with space for the last few months and this discovery center offered plenty of places for her to explore at her own pace, participate in a scavenger hunt, build and test her own rocket and work on an underwater drone using a controller similar to a video game. I’m more than impressed with the live narrator and space presentation. He came up to us after the show to make sure all her questions were asked. Worth visiting!

The Space Foundation has an amazingly knowledgeable staff that includes people who have worked in the space industry for years. The education department is committed to informing the public about the importance of space technology and inspiring young people to go into the field. The Space Foundations Space Report is also the authoritative source for any figure you could ever want related to the global space economy. If you come to the space foundation for any reason, be prepared to learn more about the universe and the technology weve used to explore it than you ever thought possible.

Booked their Area 51 for a company holiday party. What a great venue! Event staff was a pleasure to work with and the room rental was so affordable. We brought in our own food/drink, band, and additional decorations (some were provided by the Center!). They worked seamlessly with the other services. The rental included gallery entrance for all of our guests, which was a neat attraction for the night.

This was a great stop for the family. Plenty to see and do with our 9 and 2 year old. There are more activities available on Saturdays than during the week. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. This will be a regular stop for our family when were in town.I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because there are definitely 5 star space museums out there and this one is just shy of that. But they are well on their way. There was construction going on in the rear for some expansion, so were looking forward to seeing what they do.

Very small and definitely geared more towards kids. My boyfriend stopped here to kill some time on a road trip. We had a great time though and the guide was knowledgeable and had some great stories! We saw the whole place in less than an hour, but they do have some neat little exhibits. Worth a peek.

We found this attraction through the Tesla destination charger map, and primarily visited because we were on a road trip and needed to charge at the car charger to make it to our next stop. When we arrived we were told the charger was broken and they wouldnt unlock it to let us charge. The museum area is small, mostly filled with replicas which are done decently well. The interactive area where you can drive the underwater drone was out of service. The nothing short of breathtaking planets presentation/simulation was... literally the most boring thing Ive ever sat through. The presenter had no emotion in her voice and was just reading a script that went through the planets and a few moons. We left completely disappointed, a total waste of time (and money, $10 per person), especially if you have been to the attractions at Kennedy Space Center.

It was real nice and informative. Very small, though. For the price, I would have expected a more, bigger facility, but I think it helps with reserach. We were done in about half hour. This facility has scales for you to weigh yourself to see how gravity works in other planets, interactive toys and gadgets and space food on display.

I have small kids and they really had fun. But it would make more sense to turn the childrens farmers market into interactive rocket ship replicas with periscopes and dials to incite the kids imagination of space. The thrift stores dont really match the museum.

Brought my son here to check out the exhibits and was disappointed. First $10 a person for a tiny exhibit is not worth it. I would have been happy to pay 3-5 bucks for this. There is a minimal amount of exhibits there. The childrens museum exhibit helped us pass a little more time and was really the only thing there geared towards children. Its definitely not worth the price tag

We came here for the first time today and I have to say Im disappointed. If it was free, then it would be worth it, but not $10 for an adult to supervise their children. The center really needs to adjust/revamp the interactive exhibit area, because half of the exhibits dont work correctly. They also need more things to do, as my child got bored pretty quickly.

Bottom line, if you dont go with a school group or on a Saturday, its not worth going. If you arent going with a group, its not very fun. The Mars exhibit is only open on Saturday. Unless your with a group Im sure. We got there during the tail end of a school group. We got to see what they were doing and it looked fun.... But we couldnt participate...We did get lucky and one of the volunteers that were going to leave, stayed and showed us the planet sphere. That was cool. The place is small, the isnt a lot to do, but the people there (when they are there) have some interesting information. If you go, go with a scheduled group.

A decent amount of info but kind of small inside, we lucked out and went during space week and with that discount and a military discount we ended up paying something like $5 for both of us. I dont think this place is worth full price for the amount of stuff and size of the space though.

We went there today, a Saturday, for the first time. We are from out of town, but our local museum is part of the ASTC, so we were able to use our membership to get in for free. Good thing too, because I would have been very disappointed if I had paid! At first, it seems like an awesome place and the kids were excited, but after about 30 minutes, we had seen and done everything we could and were getting bored. We held out, however, because we were waiting for the Mars Rover are to reopen. We were there a little before 12:30 and the workers said that they were closing to recharge the rovers and have a lunch break. Well, I think they must have had no intention of reopening because by 2:30 when we finally gave up, they still had not reopened the area. I would rather have been told the truth than waste my time hanging out waiting.Bottom line - if you have a membership to another ASTC museum, its wroth a quick trip, but I would not spend the money to go otherwise.

Would be worth half of the admission fee if they had their exhibits actually working and not under construction or if they invested $50 to fix the hands on stuff for the kids to use. Its all broken or hardly servicable. Way overpriced for the 10 minutes of entertainment that was provided.
