Amazing place dedicated to the amazing people! A lot of interactive things to play with- archery, bobsled and ski simulators. The olympic torches are amazing!! The medals and costumes of the athletes- very interested. The staff is very helpful and enthusiastic and know a lot about it. Feel free to ask them questions, they will love to tell you everything they know. The medals is just the cherry on the top. Highly recommended for everyone!!

The family had a really great time. This museum has great information about our history of the Olympics. Each exhibit was fun to explore, our favs were the active area to try running, skiing, and much more. We also enjoyed learning about the torches thats have been used to kick off Olympics. I would recommend checking this out.

A fantastic new asset for Colorado Springs and a marvel in museum design. The technology is all state-of-the-art and the intentionally towards accessibility is wonderful. The RFID technology is fascinating but still has some quirks to work out so it will be fascinating to see how it improves in the years to come.Staff were all friendly and very knowledgeable about the exhibits. Looking forward to showing this great museum off to friends and family in the future.

This museum is amazing and structurally beautiful! So many awesome exhibits and artifacts. The collection of medals and torches alone are worth the price of admission. The movie was fantastic and inspirational. They even have a cafe that has great food and even serve beer. Put this on your list of things to do and set aside about 2 hours for it when you visit beautiful Colorado Springs for sure!! We had a great time.

Wow, what a place! The staff are all friendly and attentive. The building is absolutely stunning, and the campus looks like a staple for the future of Olympic City, USA. I absolutely loved my visit here, and so did my folks. We easily spent three hours without even blinking an eye. The interactive games and exhibits are so intriguing, luckily the technology makes it easy to bookmark and save interesting items to my own virtual locker on the digital museum, so I can go read about my favourite things at home when I have time. I know Ill be back, and Ill bring my friends and family there again. The US Olympic and Paralympic Museum is a high class addition to the city, and a benchmark for the future.

You must visit this museum!! When driving through this area recently, the new building drew my attention from the highway. When I looked it up and found out what it was, I thought Id give it a go. Im not particularly into sports of any kind but this place blew me away!! First of all, its a beautiful space. Second, the technology and interactive exhibits are cutting edge and super engaging. I had a particularly great time in the area where you can compete in Olympic sport simulations. Plus, the info and data collected during your visit gets sent to you via email after your visit so you can look at it more in depth! Third, the artifacts theyve collected are pretty mind boggling: medals, torches, gear and equipment all used by Olympians or in relation to the Olympics. Fourth, the set up of this place makes it accessible to everyone -- elevators, ramps, wide open spaces, adjustable seating -- as someone with a minor mobility issue, I appreciate this very much. Fifth, each and every staff member I encountered was incredibly enthusiastic, kind, and helpful. It was evident they liked what they did and were happy to be there. Sixth, in COVID times, I felt safe in this environment. It was hard to know if the feeling of practically having the place to ourselves, styluses to use in screens rather than touching things, and wipes and sanitizer everywhere were part of the grand plan when designing this museum, but thats what I experienced and I loved it!! I will say that tickets to get in seemed pretty pricey when we bought them, but after experiencing all this place has to offer and all the advanced technology it employs, its well worth your money and doesnt seem so steep after all. I would definitely visit again and bring more friends!

Wow!!! Not what I expected it was awesome. Even if youre not into the Olympics this is a great experience. The interactive exhibits were fun. The touchless technology and the really great staff was fantastic. Its totally worth seeing, just give yourself at least 2 hours to see it all. The building is beautiful. Youll love it.

Our town should be so proud of this new Museum. From the moment you arrive the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Very good displays and safe COVID practices. I watched them for years building this and hope everyone visits this magnificent place. Some of the features touch your heart. While it is slow now due to covid now is the time to go I felt as if we had our own tour guide. This is exactly what the Springs needs downtown.

The museum was incredibly well thought out. There was easy accessibility for everyone. Brand new high tech interactiveWe were able to get tickets easily online for a Saturday. They had only been open 1.5 weeks!Able to park for free on the street as the parking meters have not yet been installed. Parking in their lot will be $6Lots of staff on hand to direct you and get you checked in. Multi steps to get you set up and a demo to make sure your badge is working. Then you take an elevator to the top floor and work your way down through the history of the Olympics and interactive areas where you can try several sports. Very well done and lots of staff to assist and answer questions.

Friendly knowledgeable staff walked us through using RFID and stylus. Started on 3rd floor worked our way down through interactive displays, stylus (pen) used to access information easy to use. 10 minute theater showing brought me to tears. Special effect rooms, clean very clean. Torches from Olypics and other historical momentous articles behind glass. Some items are not behind glass. The lighting is incredible as you lose where you are, in a good way. Excellent gift shop and on site restaurant. Keepsake and more.

Im a fan of all sports. Not for what the sport is, but what a sport does. It teaches us so much about success in life. The Olympic museum displays that success perfectly! Interactive activities, amazing displays. But the best part of the place is the movie. It really should be shown first to frame the rest of the exhibit. But watching a history of athletes winning medals for the US is very emotional! Very well done and a must see!

This museum is INCREDIBLE! My husband and I are on our roadtrip honeymoon this week and unexpectedly found this place and it absolutely blew us away in so many ways! First of all, the building is gorgeous and amazing architecturally. The exhibits are higher tech than I have ever seen in a museum or anywhere for that matter! Amazing movement sensing screens, many interactive exhibits in which you try an Olympic sport, and huge screens for very moving films! Each of the staff we interacted with were notably friendly, kind, and helpful. Many of their staff are olympians themselves and I found myself a little starstruck in their presence! We heard two of them tell us some of their Olympic stories, and it was absolutely inspiring and wonderful to hear. The whole museum is accessible for people with disabilities, more so than any other place I have been, being designed specifically with this in mind.I cannot say enough good things about this museum. I will be telling all of my friends and family about it! I can’t wait to go back!

We had the best time at the Olympic and Paralympic Museum. This is truly an amazing place! We brought four kids ranging from 8-13 and everyone had a blast. There is so much interactive things to do. The website says 1-2 hours but you can clearly stay much longer if you choose. This place is full of so much information. I can’t pick a favorite thing, but the torches from every Olympics were pretty incredible. Also seeing how equipment has evolved is crazy. There are lots of sports equipment to see in person. Neat for kids to realize how things were when their parents were younger. I would highly recommend this for locals and visitors. There is also a digital locker so that you can go back and read more on anything you tagged in your visit, as well as any interactive activities you participated in. The job they are doing to keep everyone safe during COVID-19 was amazing. I rarely go inside places during this time and I felt totally safe. They are constantly sanitizing and there are stations everywhere to sanitize your hands. They even give you a stylist pen to use on all the screens. I will visit again if back in this part of Colorado.

The collection are almost all the torches and medals from previous games. Something for the entire family with interactives personalized by RFID. If you do have a kid and have to help her, try to find an RFID-blocking bag. Otherwise theres a good chance the activities will find you rather than your kid. Bring tissues for the final film.

Decided to come here on a whim while passing through town. I was not disappointed. I will start off by saying the enthusiasm and courtesy shown by the staff was unmatched and the best Ive received at any museum Ive ever been too. They went over the top to make you feel welcome and make sure you were aware of the process for touring the museum so you can capitalize on all of its features. Aside from the beautiful design of the museum, once you enter there is no shortage of interactive features. With multiple interactive screens there is something for everyone. I did also appreciate how much effort that was put into promoting the history of both the olympics and paralympics. If you are even remotely interested in the olympics, this museum us for you. Really neat to see all of the trophies and medals from over the years too. Highly recommend this place as a must-see if you are ever in Colorado Springs!

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!!!• There is no designated museum parking! The lot across from the museum appears to be affiliated, but it’s not. They CHARGE $6 an HOUR!!! Do not park in this lot! The parking in front is currently free, but eventually (they are under construction) the city will put in meters! If you’re paying $100 just to get in, parking should be free or at least reasonably priced!!!• The entrance fee is pretty pricey! We got a group of 15 or more together to get a discount. One person has to pay for the group, so know that before you organize a group. It’s worth it to get the discount.• The entire museum is supposed to be interactive through expensive technology. However, much of the time there we had nothing but glitches and it was very frustrating!!! Not everything works well. So, you spend A LOT of time repeating steps and waiting to see if it works.• I found myself wishing it had more old school exhibits and descriptions so you had more to pass the time than all the glitchy technology stuff.• Since we are in Covid, be prepared to wear a mask the ENTIRE time inside! What could probably take an hour, took 3 because of waiting and glitchy technology. 3 hours is a long time to wear a mask!!!• I felt like there was nothing personal in regards to former athletes to draw you into their stories and connect you to them. High tech means very little human connection. It’s the way we’re headed I know, but it’s sad.• The gift shop items and cafe are OVERPRICED!• Will I be returning? No.
