This is honestly the best Virtual reality game I’ve ever played. My best friend and I came here since we’re big COD fans. So obviously we had to fight off zombies with the Deadwood Mansion experience. To be completely honest, there was a bit a fear once the game had started. Nevertheless, it’s an experience we would want to relive over and over and over again. Thrilling, scary, suspenseful, and overall an exciting world. Kelsey ( Hopefully I’m spelling her name right, so many different ways to spell it. And if I did mess it up, SORRY! ) lol was such an amazing guide. Very helpful, funny, and professional. Seemed very chill and glad to be working there. Low key if I had this job, I would be laughing all the time. Probably get fired. Anyways, overall ten out of ten. Can’t wait to go back. On gawd I’ll become the best player...️️

We played Amber Sky 2088, the overall experience was great. Francis was there all along to help us out as it was our first experience. No lag or bugs during the game, it was seamless. It’s a good workout!

This game was awesome for me and my two sons, who are 13/10 and we ALL had a blast! It’s exactly like being IN the game. We will definitely do this again. Playing the game itself is why I couldn’t go below 5 ️’s and the only thing I will suggest is that the employee assisting us should have maybe taken a breath or two while explaining everything to us . This was our first time playing and he sped thru all of the instructions so fast and loud, making it very difficult to understand. He was very nice & friendly, but turning the dial down from 11 to about 4 or 5 would have been more helpful. We’ll be back for sure! Thanks for the great time!!

What an experience!! I was hesitant to try it because its not something that really interested me but I am so happy I tried it out! We are still laughing at the video that they recorded of us in the VR room. 10/10 recommend - will most definitely be back!!

Great family experience! Didn’t get nickel and dimes at the end for photos and videos of our experience, it was all included. The staff was friendly and professional. The facility was clean and well managed. It was a personal one on one experience from the time we entered until we left.

Our time in this location was met with friendliness and satisfaction. Felix, the employee in charge of our session, was great to work with and promptly gave us the information we needed. All of his instructions were clear, and he was very helpful in getting our experience started. Overall, this was a great place to spend our afternoon, and we would definitely come back for another amazing experience!

We booked a last minute trip for my wifes birthday. When we got there the staff was super helpful and upbeat . We talked to them a bit and after they explained the pros and cons of each map we decided on Amber Sky. Kelsey was really nice and super helpfull. It was unbelievable. Had so much fun. While we were in the game, Kelsey took fun and silly pics of us in the zone.10/10 would recommend!

Dude the experience was awesome! The experience was a lot longer than I expected and super fun. If you love video games of any kind, you should try this at least once. We were in town from DFW and were pleasantly surprised. Great customer service, organized very well and no bad parts at all in our experience!

This was such a fun experience!! I haven’t done a VR experience before or even heard of sandbox until I was walking past and Francois stopped my friends and I. We decided to check it out and played the deadman’s mansion today. We had Francois for our instructor and he was awesome!! He’s super energetic and funny, also extremely accommodating as well. I had a moment where my headset was falling down and he was quick on pausing the game and fixing it. The game itself felt so real!! And definitely got my blood pumping, you definitely want three or more people for this one! We will be back for sure!

Look, what can I say...CURTIS was an absolute f*ing beast of a Sandbox host. He joked with my friend the whole time and helped her become comfortable. Most importantly, he ensured we enjoyed our VR experience and made us feel as if we had joined an exclusive family. We had, an exclusive family of people prepped for the zombie apocalypse. :) do it ASAP

Awesome! We had a lot of fun. Felix and Arthur were very patient and friendly explaining everything. I’m really glad we stopped in, the whole experience was great. The pictures and the movies we get at the end were really funny. We did the Amber Sky, and my kids are already planning the next one, Deadwood Mansion . We recommend!

Absolutely cant wait to go back! Me and my son had a blast and our host was great. I was under the impression we got photos and videos at the end but so far have only received video. I could have misunderstood though. Highly recommend!

The whole experience was phenomenal! Felix and Francis took such great care of us (also another person helped us but I forget her name- sorry gf). They were incredibly friendly and gave us such an amazing time! Worth every penny and will definitely be back again and again!!!!

My girlfriend and I brought my mom here visiting from out of state. Hands down the funnest thing we did her entire stay here!!!! Felix was FREAKING AMAZING! Super awesome vibe and made us feel so comfortable! We will most def be back!

Just went in today and the staff was super friendly. It was SUCH a cool experience and I had a lot of fun. Our game manager, Felix, was great and super helpful and made the experience better! I am definitely coming back :)

We have been a couple times now, the staff is always welcoming, friendly, and do their best to make sure your group has a fun and unique experience. Francis nailed it, 10/10 would recommend taking your friends and or family.

Can we just discuss this incredibly fun group experience at SandboxVR. Our man Felix curated an incredible experience where we killed the zombies and and saved ourselves from Deadwood Mansion. Highly suggest for small groups for epic time.

Not impressed. I sent two message trying to get booked because their site says open but no time slots were available. I never got a response. Then I called and told the guy that IwI to book for me and my boyfriend in about 2 weeks and the guy said to check back on the site and see when they open. He never mentioned that they were changed the minimum guests to 3. I am super annoyed because he could have told me and I would have changed plans. Unprofessional and a lousy business. I hope we get a better VR place in Austin soon that allows groups of 2.

Felix showed us a great time. He took lots of pics and made sure we enjoyed ourselves definitely will be back and definitely check it out, it’s a lot of fun.

Great experience. Fun to do with a group of friends. There was 6 of us and we all loved it and wanted to come back again. Felix helped us out, he was cool. For my sons 12 birthday we took him and a couple of his friends to Sandbox VR. We did two experiences; Deadwood Mansion and UFL. Both of them were great! We all had a blast fighting off zombies and then facing off with one another in hand to hand combat. Staff is extremely helpful and do a great job facilitating the experiences. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

I got to visit at their soft opening and had the best experience. The technology is amazing and feels so real that when your experience is finished, its shocking to come back to reality.The staff was very helpful and friendly! Cant wait to come back with a large group!

Was in town to visit friends when we stumbled upon this place while walking around the Domain. I havent had much luck with VR in the past due to getting easily nauseated, but this definitely seemed different and more interactive. We signed up for a session and I am so glad that we did! All four of us had a blast playing the Amber Sky experience! No-one got even slightly nauseous and its a truly fun experience to do with friends. Felix, the Manager, was such an awesome guy and really went out of his way to make sure we had a good time. They only recently opened and one of their staff called out that night, but Felix stepped up and we hardly even noticed. I will definitely do this again the next time I am in town.

BEST VR EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I first booked the Curse of Davy Jones for my husband and I, easy! Then 2 days later I learn my husband’s friend was flying in for his birthday, so I needed to add him to our plans. I thought this may be a dreadful experience but Mackenzie made it even easier than booking the first time! Between Mackenzie and JJ great customer service and the VR of course, we ended up purchasing another experience, Amber Sky. We will definitely be returning to check out their other games!

Staff was friendly and explained everything professionally! First time doing the VR Dead Mansion and it was amazing!!! Will definitely be back to try the others. Highly highly recommended and worth the money!

It was a lot of fun, but their system was not functioning properly. It took them a good 10-15 for them to fix, which ate into the time we were allotted to play. They didn’t refund us or make up for the time that we lost because of their faulty system. It really sucked. Could’ve had great time.

My husband and I came in for a fun date and had a great time! This place is brand new and I can already tell that it is the perfect addition to The Domain. The Davy Jones game was so much fun and we will be back!

I loved Sandbox VR. JJ was our host and we were shown an excellent experience. Also, the end thing is a video and not a picture so make sure to dance, jump, and have lots of fun. We are looking forward to trying out the other games too!

I have been there twice now and Deadwood Mansion is the game to play!! Ask for Francis he is the dopest employee and is super patient and explains the game very well with a lot of energy!

The place wasn’t prepared or ready for us when we got there. After we got our equipment on, some of it was defective and they had to grab other ones. Halfway through, one of the people in our group’s headset just stopped working. At one point through the game for about 5 minutes (Almost 20% of our allotted time) my device wasn’t working properly. After talking to a manager, only one of our guest was offered a anything in return, and that was only because his headset went out. It was fun, but only for the 20 minutes we were actually playing. It ended abruptly and without warning. This place has potential, but I was extremely dissatisfied. Especially for how expensive the experience was.

My friends and I did the zombie one. It was awesome! Pretty crazy seeing eachother in VR! Coolest experience, you should definitely do it! We are coming back here again! Yall should monthly or bi-monthly overnight lock ins with competitions! Anyways thanks again!

5 stars. Sandbox VR was by far the best virtual reality I’ve ever tried. Awesome staff, stunning graphics and you can watch yourself in a trailer after playing. I’ll be bringing my wife and colleagues here next time.

So much fun! Came here for an office team building event and did the Deadwood Mansion experience. We all screamed, but it wasn’t as scary as I thought; just fun. JJ was a great host!

Me and my team came for the soft-opening. Artem assisted us. He was fantastic and definitely deserves a raise for putting up with my rowdy team. It was an awesome team-building experience. We plan on coming back. We did the AmberSky 2088 experience and it was breathtaking. The immersion was phenomenal. Our experience lasted about 30 minutes but in game it felt longer. 10/10 would do it again.

We had a blast at Sandbox VR! 3 men and 3 teenage boys battled the zombies like our lives depended on it!! Our excellent host was Kenzie, and she got us set up and ready to go to war with the undead. Not only was the game spectacular, but it was also a good workout. Loved it!

Our group arrived to do the Star Trek Discovery experience. We followed the recommendation to show up 10mins before the reservation and got signed in and geared up. Sensors on your hands and feet, a rumble vest, a laptop on your back, quality enough headphones and a VR headset. The experience was incredible and this is coming from someone with a VR setup at home, I have an HTC Vive and Id rate it a 6/10 on the cool-o-meter. This experience was a solid 10/10 on the cool-o-meter if not an 11. I was blown away, we will definitely be returning to try other experiences.
