This arcade is small and their parking lot is small too, but they have some popular games from Japan and South Korea. It’s mostly for older kids and adults.

Had a great time. Definite stop for arcade gamers, though it was a bit crammed and with limited parking. Machines were well maintained and the staff helpful. I also appreciated their website which included their current game list.

Its a fun place if you like arcade games. You should go with friends, because the games themselves arent that great if you play by yourself. The driving game is a lot of fun though.

Outside of the surrounding neighborhood looking a little bit sketchy. I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was a lot better than I thought. A lot of regular customers were very nice and polite. The staff was quick to help us with a machine that wasnt working properly and gave us some credits back. I dont live in Austin but if I did I would be going to this arcade a lot.

Arcade UFO is a Austin institution for arcade games. If you like old school or new school fighting games, rhythm games, DDR, or tetris UFO has your back.

May seem small on the inside, but it is absolutely filled with great imported games. Staff is wonderful as well.

Amazing collection of Japanese arcade games. Fighting games, initial D, and rhythm games! DDR and Pump, DJ, Popn, and most importantly, Jubeat. Every cabinet I played functioned extremely well: these machines are well taken care of and serviced properly. Games range between $0.50-$1.50. A $20 card will be hours of entertainment and worth every penny. Staff was nice as well.This isnt your standard arcade. You wont find games youre likely familiar with from arcades like Dave & Busters. Its an arcade specifically for Japanese cabinets, and for what is it, its perfect.

Great selection of fighting and rhythm games. Helpful staff. Largely reasonable prices - 50 cents per 10 minutes on the PS4 machines. Some of the other games can get a bit pricy, however - the Initial D racing game is $1.25 per session.

Perfect arcade for the casual and hardcore fighting game fan! Also full of rhythm games and an initial D cab.

Wonderful place! Small on claw machines but 20 bucks for 2 hours of fun was worth it!! *Machines can vary from 25 cents a play and a max of 1 dollar from what we played*Parking isnt that great so be careful!!

Worth the 3 hour drive, all their cabs are in top notch condition and theres lots of games that cant be found for hundreds of miles. Staff is nice and knowledgeable, the place is clean too. Sound voltex knobs are also intact which is a huge +++

Awesome arcade games, with a focus on fighting games and rhythm games. They have a few SHMUPs by CAVE and a few other odds and ends. The prices are competitive, for an hour and a half I payed 10 dollars! Great stuff.

This is a fun little hole-in-the-wall. Kind staff and fun games. My girlfriend and a couple other friends of mine all got to visit. Will be back!

Great if youre into these types of arcades

I wanted to like this place, but it was hard to because it was filthy, unkept, smelly and many of the machines are only in Japanese, which made it impossible to know which options I was picking. They had Tetris and Street Fighter, but all other games were foreign. The two side by side racing games dont connect with two players, which was unexpected.

Cool experience. Some truely diehard gamers there. They took up a lot of the games so I only got to play a few. Small place so it made it hard to move around. Also their AC isnt able to keep up with the heat from games n that many people. Still Id go back again. The man on staff was friendly and so was everyone there. Seems like this is a hang out spot for the area as most people seemed to know each other.

Fantastic rhythm and fighting game arcade with helpful staff

As a fan of Japanese rhythm games, this place is a hidden gem within Austin. With a custom In The Groove machine and one of the latest Pump It Up machines, there is a massive catalog of songs to move your arrow stomping feet to.Throw in the selection of fighting games and a few old school beat em ups and you have yourself a wonderful time.The prices are incredibly fair and reasonable!

Small selection but great little hole in the wall arcade

This place is great. A solid arcade filled with loads of different machines and even obscure, rarely seen or played games. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, and the prices per play can ensure that $10 spells hours of entertainment.

They have an awesome collection of rhythm games. Jubeat and sdvx are my favorite. The owner is really chill as well and pretty fun to talk to in between games.

One of my favorite places to go on my days off. Staff is extremely helpful and attentive and the crowd is friendly and fun to be around. Machines are clean and functional plus the selection is fun! Highly recommend!

Even though, I was only black person there, I enjoyed every minute of it. Played Unist, a little bit of MvC2, the sanwa parts are kinda ehh, but it was nice. I bodied ppl online. I do recommend ppl to go.

Small and crowded. Really was expecting more options other JUST fighting games I felt. Better time with the wife at Pinballz. Sad after I dropped $20 on a card expecting more. Now it’s been sitting in my wallet for almost 2 months.

Really enjoy coming here. I play the rhythm games, which I cant find anywhere else. The staff is really cool and often way good at the games, so theyre fun to watch. Small, so you might miss it but worth coming if thats something you enjoy.

Ive wanted to play Spica Adventure ever since it came out in 2005 and it was unfortunately left in Japan. This may be the only arcade in the US to have this great game!Nice candy cab selection to play on and a good mix of Japanese shooters, puzzle games (Azumanga Daioh Puzzle Bobble was another pleasant surprise), fighters, and music games.Definitely check this place out if youre looking for a slice of Akiba in Texas!

Small one room arcade with some fun games. We had a great time for about an hour and $10. One (double) DDR, one off brand DDR I hadnt seen before but looked fun! Plenty of street parking in the area.

Great place if you are younger and dont mind crowding/noise. Was too loud and not a great smell inside, though I can understand the appealing for some.

We were visiting Austin from the next city over and found this arcade. It was pretty cool, had a great selection of games and the staff was very friendly! My favorites there are Jubeat (running Clan), Pop’n Music (running Peace with a new cabinet), Sound Voltex (Heavenly Haven) andNostalgia Forte which they just added and Iplayed for the first time yesterday (we visited Tuesday and Friday). Some other games are ITG and Pump It Up Prime 2. They have a vending machine with snacks and drinks, and a machine selling eAmusement Passes (for Konami games) and Andamiro Passes (for PIU). All of the Konami games have a stable eAmusement network except for Pop’n Music,whereas you can create an eAmusement profile but when you try and scan your card and type your PIN again, the game restarts. (Oh well. It will come in handy when they fix it.) Something the staff should look into, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Overall a great place and looking forward to my next visit!

Awesome arcade atmosphere. has the hole in the wall type of feel which is good, great place for people to come together and relax instead of staying at home and playing online games. good and helpful customer service. just recently remodeled except the bathroom which is not the best restroom but who cares!Overall if your a gamer and like to get out this is the arcade for you!

Everytime i come visit. It makes me love this place even more. Prices for credits on the machines are pretty cheap. They currently just added the newest version of pump it up. Called pump it up prime 2.If you love rythem games and fighting games. This is your arcade. You can even ask the employees about the local tournaments they hold at the arcade weekly.Just over all a very solid arcade.

The place for Austins fighting game scene. Came here with a friend and spent a least forty bucks trying almost every single thing once (Im proud to say I whooped him in Street Fighter).The best way to get here is by bike (there is a dedicated bike lane on Speedway) or taking the IF or #5. There is very little parking.

Like fighting games? Like DDR? Like music timing games? Classic arcade games? Fun place, groovy environment, knowledgeable staff, good prices. You wont find ticket machines or skee-ball here, just a classic arcade (for modern times)!

It was kinda fun, very interesting Japanese games, but its kinda run down and there isnt much to do. The staff was very friend and helpful!

They have a Dance Dance Revolution (In The Groove) cabinet modded with tons of custom songs and charts on top of every DDR and ITG mix. $1.00 for 4 songs and the pads are in excellent shape. They also have Pump It Up, IIDX (didnt check the mix), and a bunch of fighting games.Im really glad to see a rhythm/bemani gaming arcade in Austin. Awesome place with nice staff!

Cool place to support local business and engage in the gaming culture. Lots of Japanese games, and not recommended for those seeking the usual ski ball and big buck hunter experience.

A hidden gem. You would not expect the quality of the arcade just from the exterior--the games they have are rare and among my favorites. I hope this arcade stays for many decades to come, it has become a part of the Austin experience.
