It was okay, the only thing I didnt like is it a million of the same game or similar and outside of that there were a few fun arcade games but not a ton. I liked the two free beers! The customer service was GREAT which is why Im giving it a 4 instead of 3. One last thing, a lot of people werent wearing their masks and I didnt see score personnel wiping down seats to like the car games or wiping the game buttons etc. As someone who knows some One who died from COVID after going to one place where everyone seemed fine so some stopped wearing masks, I just felt a little unease. But aside from that id give it a 3/5 overall, 2.5 for game selection, 3 for game prices, 5 for customer service which I feel was so good that I give them over all a 4!

Took my friends niece for her birthday even though she was the only child in the whole place, full of grown-ups playing games. She had a blast though they have a lot of great games including old school games. The staff was pretty cool and they helped me out with a stool so that she could see some of the taller games. All three of us had a blast and it was pretty easy with the pinballz card. Will definitely be going back again.

Out of all of out trip to Austin this is and will probably always be the highlight. I absolutely love this place for all the retro gaming and the newer ones too. Its BYOB so thats a big plus. Everyone here is friendly and makes sure everyone is having a great time. This is a must go to for anyone who likes arcade games and fun.

Enjoyed most the games, I spent about $60.00 and was there about 45 minutes to play mostly the prize winning/ticket games and yes i know its pretty much games of skill and odds, however I can usually break a thousand or more tickets. Today not so much...I earned roughly 400 tickets (not complaining even though it looks like it lol). Basically i should have brought a lot more money, oh well thats arcade gaming life. The place is fun and I did have fun so that is what counts I guess, and I still have the game card with most of the tickets on it so I will be back for more.

It has more arcade games than the Buda Pinballz, but does not have the bar and restaurant section. It is BYOB and has a food truck. We went for the escape room and it is pretty interesting and challenging w/ good props. We got the groupon so the escape room was about $36 dollars for 2 people! Which was definitely more affordable than others in the city.

Bought a coupon on Groupon which I had issues with when I got there, didn’t appreciate the lady at the front desk trying to give me less than what the coupon stated and adding other redemption conditions which weren’t in the coupon. I’m glad we finally got it sorted out and we were able to get everything we had paid for. That’s why they lost a star. The other lady that helped us get set up on the go karts and lazer tag was friendly. Our family had a great time and we’ll be back again. The go karts aren’t very fast which I don’t mind because the impact of one hitting you at the speed they go at really hurts. They do have a no bumping rule but sometimes sh** happens.

Super cool to see all the pinball machines but its a shame they charge around $1.50 per machine! Most arcades I have been to have kept the 25 cent charge. Seems a little extreme

A place for all ages! I grew up playing pinball on the computer. Brings back memories. They have the many versions of the pinball machines. You will need tokens to use them.

Review №16

Honestly? This place... kind of isn’t that great. The selection of old school arcade games is average. And what I really didn’t like is the change machine. If you insert a dollar you should get four tokens or quarters right? Nope their exchange rate is $1 = 3 tokens for the old school (quarter) arcade games. On top of that, the old school arcade games that should be 25¢ or 50¢ are between 75¢ and $1.50. So if you’re going here expecting an old school arcade feel and what should be “normal” prices, look elsewhere. In a way to me it seemed they are double dipping. Terrible exchange rate on the dollar and then the old school arcade games are over priced. Some of them have 50¢ listed on the quarter insert area, however, some have labels that say “require 3 tokens”. And going back to the exchange rate, $1 = 3 tokens. So in way some of the older arcade games are double the price of what they should be or were INTENDED to be. Don’t get me wrong the place is fun, and there’s a lot offered, but the way they are doing the old school arcade games isn’t cool in my opinion. I’ve been to arcades where the old school games are exactly how much they are listed on the quarter insert area (25 to 50 cents per play) AND they work on quarters, not tokens. Honestly I would look elsewhere if you’re wanting fair arcade prices and to use quarters, the way old school arcade games were meant to be played.

This place is friggin AH-MAZING!!!! Great atmosphere for all, clean areas and the best part the actual fact that they have the Real Old-School arcade games from the 80s from Galaga to Qubrt to the more common modern games great for kids 5 and up. And in regards to the Pinball Machines they have plenty!!! With all the favorite themes from Addams Family to The Hobbit etc. Friends, myself and family were over the moon and couldnt stop playing and the staff was so friendly too! Worth the drive, would be more than willing to come back!! BUT come with plenty of savings Lolz

Ah, the Original Pinballz! We love this place! Weve been coming here for almost 6 years now and still love it! Weve always have great fun! We have our kiddos parties here quite a bit as well and the staff is always helpful, courteous, and the overall service is exceptional! Also, the price is GREAT! Weve had parties at other venues and the quality and price pale in comparison to Pinballz in my personal opinion. Our party hostess today was amazing as they typically are. From the moment we arrived, she had everything set up and ready to go.I also love that this location is BYOB after a certain time and is adults only at that time also. Used to be 10pm but be sure you check before you go. Its a great time for the adults to have some arcade fun!

Twas an excellent arcade! Was the last thing me and some members of my family did before leaving Austin for home. The personnel was very friendly and courteous, the place was super clean, games were priced somewhat fairly and prizes for redemption seemed somewhat universal for arcades. We initially planned on only being there an hour (midnight to 1am) because we had to leave for New Mexico the next morning but we had so much fun we ended up staying until closing time at 2am.Definitely recommend!

This place is awesome! Got kids and grown ups! Lots of pinball games and a variety of themes on them. They have lots of deals for events and couples and parties. For Valentines day they had a deal for 30$ you get a large pizza, one drink and a 20$ game card. The deals are updated so keep checking before going out. Parking is a hassle tho so might have to come early or drive around a bit before getting a spot. If not take an Uber or Lyft. For sure coming back with my friends again.

Favorite hangout spot! Great assortment of arcade games both modern and retro. Super chill vibes - you can easily find a dark alcove to hang out and play your favorite game. They brought in a whole bunch of new machines recently and have brought their offering to the next tier. Definitely recommend if you’re in town. This location caters to more of an adult age group (they even have adult nights), but check out their Lakeline location for more of a family friendly venue. It has go carts, laser tag, mini bowling and more.

I appreciate all three Pinballz locations but this one is still my favorite because they have so many pinball machines. There are usually about 100 and most of them are generally up and running and any games with issues are usually fixed by the next visit (and I go often). The staff are quick to resolve issues with any games if you bring them to their attention. BYOB, but just one bottle/can in at a time. The parking lot isnt far to retrieve your alcohol.

Pinballz is a great place to hang out! Love the air hockey and friends really enjoyed the Pong game. However, it was pretty warm and needed AC, and my work ordered pizzas to be ready at 4:30pm for 30-45 people...the first pizza didnt come out until 4:45-4:50, and they added one every 5-10 min or so...which is awkward for co-workers to fight over. Also, the pizza wasnt worth the wait: the crust and sauce arent great. I recommend eating elsewhere first.PS. Their sign is too bright and should be taken down a couple of notches so people can drive by it in the dark without going night-blind.

The reason this is a three-star reviews because I feel some of the games are a little overpriced. It was a dollar to play a pinball game once and I feel like that is too much. Also all of the crane games are programmed to not give a lot of strength to the crane. Meaning that when you try to get something it wont be able to pick it up no matter how perfectly you lined it up. Those also cost a dollar.
