Only reason for 2 stars.Good food and deals on entertainment.Two groups did something during our visit here. Black family moved two tables together for a children’s birthday party. Immediately got told to move the tables back out loud.And a group of white adults walked freely through the floors and got to bowl freely without masks on. Weren’t told anything. Employees walk to them and said nothing.Won’t be back again.

The kids enjoyed it. It was a bit more pricey than we expected. They get cha with the All day pass for $14.99 before noon advertisement. But what they dont tell you is theres around $4 for bowling shoes and a minimum of $25 for each game card. For 3 people I spent around $150.Other than that, it was fun, the prizes were actually great prizes, and the staff was very friendly.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! We went on a Monday night. Numerous sanitation stations. They enforced wearing a mask. My children (4 -14 years old) enjoyed themselves very much.

Good place! Fun times bowling and having drinks for a cousins birthday. During COVID-19 times they require that you wear a mask at all times except eating and drinking. They have decals on the floor to ensure social distancing. Overall not a bad time. They mention safety reminder on the intercom but there were lots of people who didnt abide by the rules. We just kept our distance.

For $20 a person, unlimited bowling/lazer tag/billiards/mini golf/climbing! Kids had hours of fun. Definitely worth it.

Love this location! Went to the one in San Antonio and wasted gas, money and my anniversary night. (Live out of town and was staying in SA) had one more night so decided to give it a try while in Austin and was not disappointed! Unlike the other location who closes their bar at 9:30/10pm with no notice and the kitchen at 10:30, THIS location keep both open until 11:30 and they announce it so youre actually aware starting 1 hour before hand. I went on a super slow night and received excellent service from the bartender who was extremely kind and patient and from another person ( most likely a manager) WISH I would have chosen this place first so so much better, better atmosphere, better games and layout AND better staff. All I got at the other location was chips and queso and even THAT was terrible. So this location is definitely the way to go!!

Great place to have fun, go wild or just chill. You can rock climb, play laser tag, play pool, do bowling, play golf, play at the arcade, and eat delicious food. Although we encountered several machines that didnt work and the bowling lane we had kept messing up, we still had fun and managed to have a great day at main event. The greater at the door on our way in and the one on our way out were really nice and actually made us feel at home, we believe that was a nice addition to main event, keep it up!! We cant wait to come back.

The BEST customer service from beginning to end!!! This was our first family outing since COVID and we decided to have our daughters bday party here. So glad we did!! Vanessa was amazing with helping me book and the staff who helped with the party did an AMAZING job!! Thank y’all so much for taking care of our group & going above and beyond to help keep it safe!! We will definitely book again and let others know to book here as well! Also, the price was awesome for the amount of people we had!! Thanks again!!

Very chilling place for entertainment here in Austin. Offering ALL-YOU-CAN-PLAY ACTIVITIES for playing Bowling, Billiards, Laser Tag, Gravity Ropes and much more lot of fun games for kids as well as youngsters. Too much crowded during weekends including Friday night. Great concession on weekdays. Great atmosphere/ambience and inside with quality people.Nice taste restaurant, Casino PlayStation, kind cooperating service staff, neat and clean restrooms are good attraction to motivate people visit frequently.Enjoyed a lot

So my first going was on my daughters birthday, I must say not a bad place..

We have always loved Main Event. This was our first time back after living out of state for 8 years. It did not disappoint! We got the $19.95 unlimited play wristband(only $10.95 after 9pm on Fridays) which allows you to play any game(pool, bowling, rock climbing, glow golf, and laser tag) as much as you want until they close. The arcade games are not included but they had a special on those as well but we didnt purchase it.Main Event is good clean fun and we will definitely be back with our kids. Even though some activities have height limits for younger kiddos, there is still plenty to do. The only disappointments I had(hence the four stars) were that we arrived a few minutes before 9:00 and we didnt know about the $10.95 special. We gladly would have waited the extra 5-10 minutes to get the bands half price but at least we know for next time. Also, the food was not very good and the restrooms were dirty, probably because it was a busy Friday night but they could still have had someone check them. We still had a blast and will definitely be back!

This place is huge recommend for 8+ allowing you to do anything you want this will be the spot just go to the bank and pull out a $100s and your set for hours

The mini golf course wasnt amazing, but my friends and I had fun and the customer service was amazing. Everything was extremely clean as well which is a big plus in my book!

Nice place. They do a good job cleaning and social distancing. The Service was horrible. Thats my only complaint. We waited almost 40 minutes just to order food, and for that I took away 2 stars.

So much fun! Fun for the whole family, for an adult night out, or for a work event. The food was good. The atmosphere is upbeat and encourages fun. Staff was also very friendly, informative, and accommodating.

CHEATING!!! Please don’t get the unlimited pass.. initially when we are entering they said the wait time was 1.5hrs later it turned out to be 3 hours and they bloody stopped our game within an hour saying there are people waiting. The price board says $39 for an hour for 5 people.. it’s pure cheating!!!!

Great place for kids and adults. More geared for kids obviously, but similar concept in the arcade as Dave and Busters. Rock Climbing area is good for beginner rock climbers, no challenging routes, but a good way to keep muscle up. The hand holds are enormus and the routes are not challenging. Family enjoys coming for a few hours and then its a little too much stimulation, so perfect for a small mid afternoon break.

Mondays are the best in main event. highly recommended.

My kids love the rock wall. Also spending lots of money on the games. My wife also loves spending lots of money at the bar. Do yourself a favor and take advantage of their specials and coupons, also, leave your wife at home.

We selected this location as our primary location on a Saturday night. Our family members were gathering tonight as a result of our visit to see them. When we walked into the facility, the front desk was not able to accommodate us for well over an hour and a half. Some of the kids went to feed the game machines and play the video games while we waited and called around for space. It seemed like a great place for our family night out, but this location was not able to make that work. I checked around the area and saw that the food area, video games area, the party area were all clean and orderly. There were many people in the facility at this time.

DO NOT GO IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS BOWLER!!! Worst bowling alley I have ever been to. My ball was only a week old and now it is full of scratches and dirt thanks to the poor management of the lanes.

Meh. Wasn’t the worst experience I’ve had at a bowling alley / arcade but we’re not going back. Bowling was overpriced, wait staff was overworked, video games for small kids were a rip off.

Its a fun place just dont like all the added fees to bowl during wrist band days.

Had my daughters 10th birthday here, she had a blast. It gets expensive but worth the smile your kid gets. We did the rock climbing arms bowling. Love how we had direct access to the rock climbing area through our rooms. We had two amazing hosts that entertained the kiddos.

Very attentive servers and great customer service

Great selection of games sold for various number of points that you buy. Individual and competitive games available. There is a huge selection of games - you cannot try them all in a week and are sure to find several that you like so much you stick with your favorites. You accrue reward points when playing that can be turned in for gifts in the Main Event shop at this location.

This was a great place to blow off some steam with the wife and kids. Didnt do the bowling side, but will likely come back again to do it again someday. Arcade was a blast, nothing but smiles from the kiddos.

They have the newest technology when it comes to their bowling stuff. The overhead screens and the score screens for inputting your information are so nice. The lanes are seemingly always waxed quite well and the lanes are nicely lit. The staff at the front desk are friendly. There are also other things here to do such as rock climbing, lunar golfing, pool tables, and even a small arcade. They have a small bar and a menu for food. Their food is not all that and their prices for drinks are not too great. The price for bowling is pretty average since bowling is pretty much known to be on the expensive side. I believe it was about $25/hr and then like $4 something for shoes per person.The place in a whole as far as bowling alleys go .. is very clean and feels nice and new inside. If you want food or a drink just go and get it yourself because the waiters and waitresses come by every 30 minutes or so.Be prepared to come in and bowl one hour at a time or put multiple names in so you have another lane ready by the time you get off your first one because they only let you have one hour at a time per lane.Plenty of parking but the entrance is on the side of the building, not the front.

Its so awesome. I love it so much and it’s a great place for your kids to hang out. There’s is never a dull moment when your here. If you live here you are close to everything so you can do what ever you want if you want to do this is a perfect environment for everyone

This place is great for family and kids of all ages. Rock wall and laser tag were a blast. Climbing wall manager wasnt all too friendly, but the rest of the staff were awesome. Pro tip:do rock wall first as you cant participate if youve had even a sip of alcohol. Food was really good and bowling lanes are really nice as well.

ARCARDE:Some things that I noticed that were a little out of hand were some games did not work properly, but were accepting game cards and eating away credits. Some machines were missing main gaming components and in some you can see broken components hanging inside the games (pictures attached). I had a hard time looking for game attendants to make them aware of the issues.FOOD:Pizza was a little overcooked and not heated properly. Seems like it was cooked at high heat with minimal time. Crust was harder than normal and very crunchyBOWLING:The biggest restriction for me was I can only play in 1-hour increment blocks. I wanted to have a toddler try bowling for the first time to see if she was interested and I was not able to purchase a half-hour blocks. We spent 10 minutes playing and swallowed the rest of the 50 minutes. I mentioned this to desk attendant and was advised there was no other options other than paying for a full hour @ $20/hr.POOL:Got to play pool and had no issues. Other varieties were playing shuffleboard as well as watching varieties of sports on multiple projections and TVs all over the play areas.

Bowling place is good

I do not recommend them for anything I had a bad deal in which they despised me and my friends, we went to ask for a drink and they asked us for my id, we taught our id and my friends is from Florida and for being from the Florida told him that his id was false and they treated us in a bad way

This great place to go to with friends and family.They have good bowling with drinks and food.(you have to pay but god food.)There is arcade games which is put money on a card and play which is pretty fun. Also there is lazer tag which has a two story neon are with red and blue team which is fun.This place is pretty good.

My son arranged to meet a friend to bowl for the $7.99 Play All Day. Unfortunately, it was crowded and they let us know it would be a 2-3 hour wait to get to bowl. (We had to leave after 2.25 hours and they never got to bowl.) My biggest frustration is that I felt like it was a Bait & Switch as we had to upgrade to the $19.99 package and during the time we were there I saw plenty of bowling lanes open and not being used at any given time:( (I was sitting next to the bowling area the whole time we were there so was able to easily observe this.)

Popped in for a quick drink with the wife. Bar staff was amazing! While waiting for our drinks, we noticed dark yellow stains on one of the ceiling tiles, as well as missing paint chips all over the wall next to the bar. After drinks, the wife and I needed to use the restroom and when we reunited, she described a horrible scene of diarrhea all over the toilet and walls inside the womens restroom. We have been coming here for over a decade and have watched it transform with the renovations and we are highly disappointed in the condition that we have seen it in tonight.. After all of the good experiences Ive had, this is the 1st one Ive had thats made me want to leave a review......

A little pricey but overall, a great place.

We had a lot of fun! But I have had a couple of experiences here that annoy me. The last time we went we wanted to eat but they would not clean off a table for us and told us we could sit in the bar but I told them no because I don’t like my kids sitting in the bar area. But this time we ate while bowling and we had a good waiter. We bought the all inclusive package that include everything but games. We decided to buy a $20 game card but found out it has a $2 activations fee (WHAT WHY)! Other then that we love the bowling, laser tag, rock climbing and mini golf!

The way this place is busy I would suggest the employees at the front counter advise customers to sign up for activities due to long wait times. I dont visit there often but I was told there would be a 2 hour wait for rock climbing and then another 2 hours for bowling. We were not able to do all day play when thats what we came for.

Dirty Bathrooms and Not very good food service. I think because of the shut down, things are slacking. Ended up leaving without playing my whole card through because of empty cups and things in game seats and booths.

Good games fun for family, good calamari, the restraunt has very attentive wait staff, the burgers were cheap frozen meat, fish had skin still on it. Fries were ok. Drinks were good. Pool area very nice, Lazer tag put out golf lots of fun. So I do recommend for games and drinks, should eat before or after.

Great family fun place

Staff was super friendly. Bartenders at the bar were kind and very attentive to everyone. I barely had to wait at all to get a drink, thats how fast and attentive they are. Great customer service skills from all staff members. If youre looking for a good time with friends and family, this is a good spot. Adults can bowl and have a few drinks, while the kids (or adults as well) can enjoy the arcade section along with a game of pool. Will be going back again. :)

Took the 8 and 5 year old kids. They had a blast rock climbing and playing video games. It was busy but not that bad for a holiday.

I give it two stars because the place is fun, when you can get to what you want. We did a lot of standing and waiting. Some of the staff is clearly unhappy with their choice of employment. We didnt get barked at like some people described, but the lack of signage, lack of instruction or direction, is hard to figure out sometimes...so you end up standing around in a hoard of people without getting to what you want or understanding whats going on. This place needs a serious organization effort that explains the process and waiver requirements more clearly and much much earlier in our visit. Fix that headache and this place would be crazy fun.

Love this place for all the activities! We went bowling and ordered food. The service from the guy helping us out was not great and my husband and I missed our rock climbing appointment; he seemed annoyed that we were asking for simple things such as how to order the meal and game card promotion, which we couldnt do on the kiosk. We will be back, but will request not to have that guy again if we order food.

We booked Main Event for a large team gathering of 75 people, and the staff was AMAZING! The venue was packed full of fun activities for all age ranges! The buffet they provided for us was beautifully presented and delicious! Some of our guests had special dietary requests — Jesse (the operations manager) and Tello (the banquet attendant) were very helpful, attentive, understanding, and accommodating! We HIGHLY recommend them for your next large event!

Do not expect to receive any form of customer service if you decide to come here. All of the employee seemed annoyed to even talk to the customers. I ordered two drinks and it took 30 minutes for one (iced tea) and over and hour for the other one (an icee). I was told the machine was acting up. No apologies, nothing. I was made to feel like a bother. This place would be better off having robots running it instead of annoyed workers. Very disappointed.

Fun place, cruddy managementThe bartender Reuben was very nice and very helpful and willing to go above and beyond his job duties. The manager Jesse call mom the other hand was not I was in line for 10 to 15 minutes trying to get bowling shoes. Im not a small man by any means of the definition. So I quietly gesture to him to come over and see me when he ignored me I walked out of my place in line and exchange words with him he stated in a very aggravated tone that he would not come over to me because I flagged him down. Himself along with another manager decided to walk away after they were done handling the custom of they were with now I feel like I need to say something because of the fact that this is rude this is not customer service at all or ever. So please be Ware when you bring your partys family friends here to this place do not have a situation and take it to manager Jesse

This is a really great place to take a group for a variety of entertainment options all in one place. We usually play pool but there are a ton of things to do. The staff is fast and friendly, even when its crowded. Food and drinks are all good. Recommend!

Lots of fun and various activities, bowling, pool, mini golf , laser tag, video games and more. But 4 stars only because its pricey. Video games from $1.50 min to $3 per game. $50 plus easy for one round of Bowling pricey. Add food and your pushing $100 easily. Especially with larger groups or family $$$$. Plus you add other activities laser tag, mini golf... all Fun but pricey. Unless you dont have other bills to pay, its probably a not so frequent event.

Horrible service. We visited during the PM shift and there was staff just hanging around cracking jokes. I thought they were off the clock the way they were goofing around. Our food never came and our server told us he wasnt sure we still wanted our food. The three managers we spoke to were even worse as one told us it happened because they were to busy, one said he didnt have time to assist and one just never came back after speaking with him. Horrible, Horrible, horrible experience and the icing on the cake was when we were leaving they tracked us down to hand us the bill even though they never gave us our food. Which took another 15 mins to explain to them there own blunder. We normally go to D&B but wanted to try something different. Absolutely wrong decision.

Came here for a work function. There are many games to play along with bowling, rock climbing, lazer tag, and so much more. They offer a full bar and also serve meals. Staff is generally friendly and very helpful.Drinks are a bit pricey but that is the norm here in Austin. This location is nicely spread out and very colorful. Great place to take the family!!!

Great arcade with a wide range of games and activities - the laser tag is particularly well organized. Nearly every machine actually works (unlike some arcades)!

This place is great and my kiddo had a blast! The food was really good, waitstaff very accommodating. Its definitely not walk in for bowling and other attractions. There was almost a two hour wait to sign up for bowling, even! That said, the arcade rocked and the place is really clean and well maintained. I am definitely going to be back.

Great place to take your kids. They have almost everything here ranging from food, bowling, video games, and physical games. Adults are welcomed here also with what I believe is a full bar and pool tables that are in good shape. Highly recommend visiting.

The employees were nice, happy, and accommodating (I was in a wheelchair and had no problems, save for the bathroom being a little bit of a tight squeeze).It was busy but not overcrowded. The bar has great mixed drink options, and the arcade has plenty to choose from. Food/Drinks are a little pricey for arcade food. Overall though, no major complaints!

The food was perfectly made to order and I am sure my grandchildren will love it when Papa brings them here to use the game cards. Visited again this year and still a great deal. We come here throughout the year and do the $32.95 meal with a $30 game card deal and our grandchildren love playing here. This location has frequent specials that make it quite affordable for kids to have a great time!

For starters, Im giving 2 stars to give the food the benefit of the doubt since we didnt eat. Since there are several different areas, Ill break my experience down individually.Bowling - during pin reset, our pin setter dropped pins nearly every reset...when your play is hourly, this becomes a rather big time waster.Miniature golf - it would not surprise me if I was told the course has never been through any type of repair. Holes in the walls, baseboards missing large panels, and an overall lackluster course.Laser Tag - half of the arena was closed off, minimizing the experience. The guns seemed to fire only when they wanted to...even with correct hand placement.Billiards - uggghhhhh...I thoroughly enjoy playing pool. Normally....with a total of 6 tables, theres not a lot of pool to be played. Of the roughly 25 cue sticks found, a large majority either had cracked tips, no tips, or were missing the butt end bumper, which greatly changes the weight balance of the cue. Tables were stained and felt rips were plentiful. There was a table of teenagers who seemed to think the object of the game was to see how far you could roll a ball under the table and across the floor...when it was mentioned to the staff, the staff member apologized to the teenagers.Arcade - while there were some relatively new games, there were plenty of old games. Not like the oldies but goodies old...just old. Including a 2004 version of a racing game. Which is a dollar to play...one of the cheapest games to be found.Regretfully, my family dropped about $150 (Memorial Day special) including bowling shoes. Had I known then what I know now, I would have certainly turned the car a different direction.

Fun environment enjoyed myself

Came here with my family for my son’s birthday and everyone was super nice and welcoming. I enjoyed that they have a little bit of fun for the whole family.

It was overcrowded and they didnt have the system where you reserve your spot in line for laser tag so you had to waste your evening in line. And the mini golf was a wreck with no balls in sight and golf clubs all over the floor

This was my first time going to this establishment. It was pretty easy to find and there was plenty of parking. Theres even a ramp for those that use a wheelchair or can I go upstairs. The inside is also very spacious we sat by the bar which was quite lovely. there are TV screens all over the place. The bowling alley portion was nicely spaced with multiple Lanes but the bowling looked very expensive. They have food and game options that make it nice. There is also golf, laser tag, and a rock climbing wall. There is something for everyone inside the Main Event.

Awesome place to take family! From pool tables, Putt-Putt glow in the dark, laser tag, videos games, rocker climbing, private party rooms food and a bar! You can be there all day!

Main Event needs to step its game up. There were 7 of us bowling on one lane. The game was timed (unbeknownst to us) and we ran out of time on the seventh frame at which point we were told that we couldnt continue playing even if we paid more to do so. Ridiculous. Food was delicious.
