Magnificent view of the statue of liberty, midtown, governor island, and brooklyn. The enclosed environment makes it amenable for all kinds of weather. A iPad self-guided tour offers the kids friendly touch. We spent 4 hours (restaurant and observatory) to enjoy the day, sunset, and night view. Totally worth the time and money for those who like slow traveling.

Since this is the only observation deck in Lower Manhattan, it offers much different views than the Empire State Building, Top of the Rock, and Hudson Yards. You get a great view of the Brooklyn Bridge and the New York Harbor (Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty) as well as a great panoramic view of Midtown Manhattan out in the distance. The elevator ride up is pretty cool, showing you how NYC grew and developed since colonial times.Because the observatory is enclosed, it is a great choice for visiting during the winter.

I want to say thank you to all the employees that work in the One WTC. The experience there was grate. This was my second time in the building, and I enjoyed that more than my first time. I reserved a table there for lunch time, and I was glad that I did it. The food and the service was grate. My waitress ANDREA was really professional and nice person. She was so sweet and aware of everything that I need it. The food was really good testing, and the presentation of each dish was grate, please my compliment to the chef. In general my experience there since the check in the Security check point until I left the building was grate. Thanks to everyone for this memorable moment for my stay n New York,. David

The entire experience is amazing. You get really pretty views of the city from all the directions. I have been to the Top of the Rock and that was also beautiful but this gives you clear views of the Liberty Island and Jersey City along with Manhattan. Some tips -1. Buy your tickets online. They are cheaper.2. Try to do this early in the morning on a sunny day.3. The elevator up shows a good history of the citys architecture. Try to stand in the middle so you can look at all sides.4. The hourly shows are pretty good with good insight about the city. Try and attend at least one of them.5. They show you a movie just before you enter the observatory. Keep your cameras ready because the screens will come up after the movie to give you an absolutely beautiful first glance of the city.

Not bad, but nothing really earth shattering either. The best part is the modern speedy elevator which takes you up in just under 1 min - i was impressed. Nice city view - much more exciting than the Empire State Building. However, its certainly a tourist trap. The whole thing is not a cheap experience for sure and not really worth $50 per person plus tax! Sorry, just my opinion.

This is a must for anyone visiting New York, great looking building and the views are simply amazing. The lift is fast so anyone not so good with heights is up in only a few seconds. Lift entertainment too as well as an opening video about the tower and how it was build before the grand reveal! Amazing views, cafe and a bar too! Gift shop was pricey but what the hell! Very humbling to look down at where the two twin towers once stood. Great experience!

Must See NYC best observatory!!! It all starts with an Elevator ride to the top, reaching 102Stories in 47 seconds. As you reach the top through the SKYPOD you see NY transformation as they tell the amazing story since the beginning to our present time. At the top of one of the tallest buildings in the world. You can see a 360* observatory. You can admire all landscape, (Interactive guide to city, if you wish. Don’t think it is necessary). And can’t miss grabbing something to eat and a drink with the best view!!! We purchased our tickets at the moment. It is really important to choose a day with good weather and visibility. Certainly one of New York Citys most iconic and meaningful attractions. The elevator ride alone is an incredibly enjoyable, historically immersive 60 second simulation experience. It provides a sense of time travel by incorporating large format media display images of New York City through the years.Once inside the beautifully designed observatory, the 360° panoramic vistas are incomparable. The various exhibits are both informative and interesting. One of the most fascinating highlights is the sky portal; a 14-foot wide circular glass floor, incorporating real-time footage of the streets 100 stories below.

Wow, I mean what can I say? This place was so humbling, and as an American who remembers going through the changes after 9/11 it was so touching. I dont think the expedited pass is worthwhile honestly, we only had to wait 15 minutes to go up, everything seems to flow quite smoothly. From what others told me, the daytime view is better than night time, because you can see the beautiful ocean. I will recommend sunset 100%. Go up about 45 minutes before sunset

One World Observatory - Truly a world of it’s own.The best thing is to buy the One Dine Resturant tickets. It includes a Prix Fixe Dinning with admission tickets included. Make sure you get Priority check-in (entrance), and priority exit. This eliminates staying on a long line if its crowded. Service was amazing, waiters were amazing and attentive (not the annoying type neither), and of course the view while having a great meal was enjoyable. Food portions are big and generous and will fill you up. After your meal, you’re able to stay and keep enjoying the view and taking pictures. One of the coolest thing was the elevator ride going up the building and going back down when you finish. The overall experience was amazing. Definitely worth visiting the tallest building in NYC.

One of my bucket list completed. I went to the observatory with my family and friends. It was heavily crowded and I got my ticket for 6 PM EST though I purchased around 2 PM EST. There is queue for security but in 20 minutes it cleared. The elevator riding was amazing and very nice presentation on the timelines. The video at the top is a great experience, The way it explained and the final opening to the view was heart touching. The staffs were very friendly and the view is awesome, we spent around 2 hours enjoying the view 360 degree and took nice photos from different angles. It was not so crowded but you can find better place for your photography with some waiting. I have visited 3 times and i loved each time I go up.The elevator while returning also very nice and the elevator will take exact 60 seconds to up and 60 to down also. Quality time spent there and worth visiting once.

Great views of the city from the highest point! After contemplating for a good while whether to go to the One World or to the Empire State Building for the top views, settled for this one and it was so well worth it.. What I loved here -- This is easy to miss given you have whole of Manhattan to view from here.. but look out for the 9/11 Memorial.. it looks amazing from top!- The Empire State Building & Chrysler- The lift ride up to the 102nd floor.. which augmented the rise of Manhattan over all the decades.. its pretty awesome and keeps your mind off how high youre actually going in that lift!- Water views from top were stunning.. including Lady Liberty.. a speck but nevertheless- The guys who give a nice talk about New York.. pretty awesome!Overall, totally recommend.

I went up the One World Observatory on the evening of September 11 2019. It was busy and full of people but still well managed. The security scans at the bottom were quick. The elevator ride to the top was awesome and fast. We were kept entertained by the walls having vision of New York. I went up at 6pm in time for a beautiful sunset at 7.10pm. As it was also the anniversary of September 12, a Tribute in Light was also lit. It was very beautiful and sad at the same time. The view was really spectacular definitely worth a visit. They had a really cool presentation I dont want to spoil it for you but I thought the entire experience was really well done. Definitely a five-star attraction. However they definitely did have, in my opinion, they had a lot of commercialization to try to get a few extra bucks out of you, by offering extra bells and whistles to the experience. We just bought the basic tickets. The extras were priority entry time, priority elevator line, augmented reality on iPads they provided that would show landmarks and give you expanded information on them, professional photos, there was also a bar, restaurant, and gift shop on the observation deck. Great experience all together. The view is great. The presentation is great. The best part is there is not limit as to how much time you can spend time. For example, in Chicago, for the observatory at Willis Tower, you get only 1 min to click photos and get out. But that is not the case here at the One World. You can stay for more time till you get a perfect picture. The only downside was that there were too many lights inside which caused reflections on the glass while trying to take pictures. The entire area should be a little dark with less lights pointed towards the glass windows.

Visit for a birds eye view of NYC. Great 360 views that you cannot get anywhere else in the city. I recommend visiting at least once because from street level one cannot get a good view of the area. I bought my ticket online 10 minutes before I walked into the building, and on a Sunday the line for the elevator was about a five minute wait. Being in the tallest building in the USA the elevator ride up is quicker than you might think. Once you exit the elevator there is a short presentation before entering the observatory. There is a reasonably fancy restaurant inside as well. Could be a nice place to bring a date, but the cost is likely to put a dent in your wallet. While the observatory has a timed entry, once in you can stay as long as you like. Just be courteous and dont put your hands all over the glass; it makes peoples photos of the city turn out blurry. I gave this 4 stars because the price was higher than I think it is worth. I have also visited the observatory of Taipei 101 and Hong Kongs International Commerce Center and I must say that One World Observatory was the most expensive yet had to least things to do in it.

Theres a short walk to the elevators explaining the base of the building. The interactive elevator is amazing with a lot to take in.Once at the top you are put in front of the tourist trap green screen to have your photo taken. Then a brief presentation with a great surprise at the end!Once in the observatory you can roam around as much as you like and watch a free regular presentation with some interesting facts. As a regular visitor to the twin towers previously, I was a little disappointed theres hardly any mention of them but I get the idea of this being a forward looking attraction etc.

The view from 102 floors up is absolutely breathtaking! You can see every part of NYC and parts of NJ. The elevator ride up is very cool with the walls being video displays. You could spend hours up here. I do wish the glass was positioned better so it is not so reflective making it a little tougher to get good photos

It has great views. I was with a 911 first responder. They charged him full price for me and half off his ticket. With a FDNY badge...youd think he would get I. For free... Or at least a respectful thank you.

My husband brought us here for our anniversary and it was great! Very nice whole day as a tourist in our own city. Then waitching the sunset and at night watching the city lights. Highly recommended to just splurge on VIP. Long lines like an airport security.

Ive visited the One World Observatory twice. Each time I had ordered express tickets online. They are expensive but save you a lot of time. It was worth the money in one case since the lines very long. The other time, it was an unnecessary cost since there werent a lot of visitors anyway. My favorite part of the visit is without any doubt the procjection on the walls of the elevator. I wish it could go on forever. Once youre on the top, the astonishing view is unveiled to you with a touch of drama, which is pretty cool! The platform is so high that it feels unreal... It feels like looking down on the city from a helicopter. I cannot give this experience five stars due to the pushy attempts to sell you extra stuff (picture, tablet with info, ...). It takes away the pure joy of this already rather expensive experience.

Beautiful views from a beautiful building! Great info from the tour. Dont fall for the $15 voucher big you are planning to use it to eat. It is only good for drinks and the gift shop.

Love the fact that there was hardly any line to get in. The One World Observatory can be accessed from the Oculus. The elevator is the fun part. 47 seconds to the 103rd floor. The elevator has cool Virtual reality screen on its wall. As you move up the floors the elevator shows the developing New York from 1800s to the current time. At the top ypu can see a short film about all the elements of new york including streets, subway, food and people. The Observatory has a cafe, restaurant and a gift shop. Very well maintained and reasonably price. View of the Hudson river, Brooklyn bridge, Empire state Building etc could be easily seen.

It makes you feel like the world is endless. You can also see the live ground view from screens at the top.You can also get your photos with the one world observatory view at the back. Theyll also give you a code , you can fill the code on the mentioned website and download your photos and youll also get 3 copies of your photos. The lift time is also amazing. They show you the story of the ONE WORLD OBSERVATORY from its building time till today.Everything looks so amazing from the top. You can see far enough. Its a lifetime experience trip to the top.I dont have enough words to describe the experience and all the fun you have their.Your trip to the observatory may only last a few hours but the experience would last forever.

This place was incredible. The view was so cool. You could see every part of New York, and everyone was taking pictures. I thought the guides seemed very knowledgeable. People from my group asked a few questions, and they were all answered immediately. The elavator is also pretty cool. It will tell you about the history of NYC. I would definitely recommend coming here with a group, or solo. An incredible place.

Highlight of NYC for me! The view is absolutely stunning! The lift going up is effortless - you did not sense how high or fast you were going! Full 360 degrees view once at the top- plenty of room to walk around - you can choose to stand right back or up close to the window! Bar & restaurant - yes expensive but so worth it! Very surreal having a drink overlooking the city!

What a beautiful afternoon I had. New York looked so beautiful from up in the sky. It is a nice tranquil spot when you go during the week. The food up there is pretty darn good. I will go again

Awesome spot with stunning panorama views over the city. The building and views are beautifull and worth the hefty admission fee, but beware, everything inside is crazy expensive.

Nice view of the city. Not the same as empire State building or Rockefeller center where you could go outside to the deck. One world observatory has no exterior deck but still its a good experience.

The elevator ride was smooth. A video was showed after stepped off the elevator. My first thought was what an unnecessary video but there was a surprise at the end (not to spoil it for you). The view is magnificent, it truly is the Big Apple, love to be back here again!

If you are afraid of heights, this place is not for you. Both locals and visitors like this place, I personally love it. Take note to check on the weather forecast before going here because once the sky looks bad and trips are cancelled, your tickets wont be refunded. Thumbs up to the staff! One time there was a boy in our trip with anxiety attack in the elevator and the personnel were very quick (surely trained professionally) to respond and calm him down.

I had an amazing experience visiting the One World Observatory. This place is absolutely incredible. For around $40, you can visit up here. For some it may not be worth it, but for those who decide to go, you can see miles and miles into NYC. One thing that I would highly suggest is bringing a nice camera or at least a phone with a good camera. You can sit up here for a long time looking out and seeing boats travel down the river and see tiny cars from way up on top. The food can be pricy up here so I would suggest eating and drinking before you go up.Tip: I would HIGHLY suggest going up during sunset! It’s absolutely beautiful looking out into the city. Also, make sure to bring a camera!

It was a great experience! The views were breathtaking. You can choose from 3 different packages from simple observation deck entry to 3 levels with a meal included. You can avoid the long lines by purchasing your ticket online while at the front door. This is what I did and i just walked right in and hopped on the skypod elevator that zips you to the top in no time, while you watch the ascent on their virtual screen. I wish you could actually see out the elevator window though. That was my only disappointment. I guess because the elevator is enclosed in the actual building. Imagine if they could have an elevator go up the side of the tower. Wow!Anyway, the iPad they provide you on with the mid level ticket is great, so that you can identify what youre looking at out the observation deck windows. Overall, its a cant miss opposed and its right next to the 9/11 memorial and museum, which you can see from above. Enjoy!

Wonderful views and experience at a historical location. They also have great presenters who discuss different topics revolving around NYC and the surrounding areas. I would recommend booking your tickets online and paying extra for priority if possible. It enables you to skip multiple lines and potentially save you hours on a busy day.
