Great worship, message, and fellowship. Always looking forward to attending and serving at church. It is a welcoming environment and they emphasize that you dont have to believe to belong. Worship was great. Felt Gods presence. Service was orderly. Lots of space to sit but you must get there early. Enjoyed the snack I got at the entrance. Felt so at home I did 2 services in one day. Definitely worth the visit.

What a joke and mockery of a church. The Apostles would be rolling in the grave with this show and none humble of a church. Jesus wouldnt be in need of ppls fame and glory for putting up a show... If you have never stepped foot into a church, disliked the church, or have been distant from church, please give Hillsong a chance to change your mind. The worship is second to none and the band does a phenomenal job setting the tone and atmosphere for the service. All of the staff are extremely joyful and helpful. The messages preached here are very practical and applicable to your everyday, modern life. I recommend arriving at least 30mins early because the lines can be long, but theres plenty of seats.

I loved worshipping with this church. I saw young men and women excited to meet the Lord through worship.I love that the staff and leadership are willing to think outside the box. I wish I could stay around a little longer to meet more of the people.Dont be shy. God can meet you here.

INCREDIBLE experience. They have a friendly and present welcome team. If youre a first time visitor get there at least 10 minutes early since they have a security check and line before service. Also, if you get there right on time you might have to climb stairs to get to your seat. Phenomenal worship and a service thats around 75 minutes.

Harsh vibe to witness honestly. Too much enforcement on tithe.

If you could change the name to Hillsong Social Club NYC than I would give it 5 stars. Pastor Michael Todd was hilarious, but not biblical. Also, music was great but it was clearly a show not worship. No conviction.

Hillsong isnt a real church! If your doctrine says that God is here to empower man when God created us and as our chief end to worship and praise God, then you have it all wrong. Pastor Carl Lentz said that in the Bible (He was using the MSG translation) that we need to be attentive to individual needs that part of 1 Thessalonians 5:14 is totally, for sure, 100% made up, as the original Greek translation doesnt say that. If you are currently going to Hillsong I would strongly suggest you leave and go to a different church that has a correct doctrine and uses KJV.(King James Version)

This church had an amazing service. I felt truly connected and I loved every second of it. The line outside can get quite long but its truly worth it. Bags get checked on entrance.

Very beautiful serviceNice atmosphere...great singing and wonderful message. The ushers are very orderly. Security guards do a screening and metal detector test of all individuals. This made me feel really secured. I was surprised to see so many young people of NYC attending church. And everyone was warm and friendly. No fighting on the bathroom lines...people greeted each other in church....

We had a great service at Hillsong church. We had to wait a while but it was all worth it. Ofcourse you’ll hear the known Hillsong songs. When you’re in New York City, you have to visit this church! I highly recommend it. By the way, you have to go upstairs to where the service is, but there is a elevator!

My wife and I where visiting NY in December and we went Hillsong NYC. Great Jesus centered church, great message and powerful worship. We definitely loved being there and we will be praying for this church.

Service, worship, message all great. Inspiring, worshipful, relevant. Initial Security screening by extreme and didnt feel llike family or home

I was interested in Hillsong coming over from Australia and went to the 2pm service. Disappointing would be an understatement! After two half songs of worship, they then went to the message which was just a pre-recorded video of Pastor Carl Lentz from earlier (someone else couldnt of preached?). Then after the message another half a song of worship then we were shuffled out in just under an hour. If nothing else it was efficient, then got to look at some of the things they were selling which were quite overpriced. Didnt feel like I was going to a church, dont know what it was, shame because I know Hillsong NYC do great stuff. Highlight was the burger afterwards.

Been going to Hillsong for over 4 years. I came here after longing for community and haven’t left. Amazing people & a lot of love for our pastors. If you’re in town for a visit definitely check it out.

I love this church! I accepted Jesus in my life about 2 months ago. I just wanna say Hillsong NYC makes me feel right at home and I love coming here every week since I moved here a month ago this will be my place every Sunday

Hillsong NYC is our home church when we come to visit. Jesus is alive and Gods message is translated into worship through music and Bible. Moving, spirit filling, life giving. We pray Hillsong continues to bring more people to a growing relationship with Jesus.

Get there early to find a seat as many people claim a seat with a book or paper and hang out elsewhere. Beautiful message but don’t expect to catch pastor lentz speaking. They tend to have associate pastors or guest speakers. It’s also mostly worship with about 30 min of the message. Fun time but won’t be my home church.

Love the church and they also have a lot of different activities like connect group, volunteer teams, conferences. Worship is only one of the best part. Even thou in the sermons may only refer to a short paragraph in bible but the teaching is always related to your daily life.

Ive spent most of my adult life serving in church and working on my relationship with Jesus as opposed to becoming religious. When I moved to NY, my family and I wanted to find a church where we knew we could grow. The very first weekend we found Hillsong. We were a bit hesitant because we are weary of mega churches but all of our doubts vanished after the first service. The pastors are all anointed and gifted orators. Although it can be a challenge to get connected, its possible if you seek it. The services are refreshing and the messages are truly thoughtful, filled with Biblical teachings actually based in the Bible and with real life implications. I have never been to a church like this and I have never looked forward to Sundays as I do now. Im thankful that God brought me here.

One of my favorite churches in the world. You will feel exactly as you are coming Home as with any other Hillsong church. Multiple services on Sunday from morning to late evening, but none on Saturday if youre not available then. Location is central and not difficult to find. Hopefully well find a permanent location and have our own place to call home soon.

Hillsong is that church that makes me feel like Im not at church but that I am at church because it feels like Im at a concert.Ever hear of Hillsong worship songs? They are beautiful and I recommend you to listen to the words and feel what happens when you hear them.Our Pastor Carl gets down on the mic and when he gets going on his preaching, I cant help but be touched by the holy spirit that flows through him.If youre looking for a home church that has no judgement , keeps it real, is so modern and in todays times and not Bsing anything with the word that delivers the knowledge for souls to be saved and lives to be changed.... welcome home, welcome to church!

Love this place, mostly because of the worship. But it always speaks to me on a deeper level it feels awesome to leave refreshed ready to take on the week.

Tonight, on 1/19/2020, in the freezing cold temperatures, my fiancé and I went to the Church for the first time to praise God. We listen to Pastor Michael Todd online every Sunday for Church and knew he’d be at Hillsong preaching. We drove from New Jersey to New York for the sermon and arrived at 5pm. When arriving, the gates were locked and they had left about 50 people lingering outside without explaining that the inside was maxed out (so I was told by other people waiting outside). We stood outside in the freezing cold New York air, and waited to get into Church to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus. All my life I was told and read for myself that Jesus always spoke to crowds the size of the STATE of New York. To turn away believers is one thing, but to turn away people wanting to see what this Church is about for the first time is truly awful. I sincerely apologize to any and all people who are still in disbelief of Christ, because the way the Church handled this situation is not a reflection of who Jesus Christ was and is.

Excellent place of worship. Come any way you are He is Waiting. No matter what denomination you are EVERYONE can get an uplifting message to get you through whatever you are dealing with. You are greeted with smiles and welcome home by the friendly staff outside of Hammerstein Ballroom when you arrive. Flat screen televisions are placed throughout the balconies of whats going on center stage HOWEVER there is no bad seat during Hillsong , the message is thoroughly felt inside and out. No dress code is needed, HE is more interested in your heart and what healing it needs than what designers you are wearing. Come one come all, you will be moved by His presence and may even get emotional but that is cleansing and we all need it once and a while. Amen AAAAAAAAMEN I say .

The church is AMAZING! I went there for a Sunday service once and love the experience! It was an event full of energy and enthusiasm from everyone who attended. It was the most organized and highest quality church I have been. Highly recommend it to everyone even if you are not religious. You will feel amazed and welcome!

Hillsong is not a church. It is a social club for self-centered, upper middle class young adults. Do not expect to hear a sermon here. I attended for months and I never felt a spiritual connection. The “pastors” give nearly identical motivational speeches every week where they drone on about how they would “like to encourage you.” Meanwhile, if you are ever struggling with a serious problem such as severe depression, you will be completely neglected and forgotten. Hillsong is a social club with hypocritical members who completely ignore those who are not in their cliques.

The message was so powerful. The presence of God was so tangible. So many young people praising God.was amazing to wstch.

Only had 30 minutes to spare before hopping on the bus back home, but stopped into this church for worship. It was uplifting, and everyone was so kind and welcoming. The music was amazing!

Loved the service we went to! Worship was amazing! Service lasted under an hour and a half which was just perfect. Volunteers were all very friendly and helpful. We had several people introduce themselves to us and our kids. We got there about 30 minutes before to wait in line to get in. Message was phenomenal! We walked out feeling so recharged and blessed!

Hillsong is amazing. Not one of your average churches. Very welcoming to anyone and everyone. Its a must go in NYC.

Well, its a demanding group of mainly good people with a huge effort to provide you the explanation of Bible as thoroughly as possible. The music is catchy. It can be a great help for people who wants to walk on the path of christianity.

Great welcome and easy place to get to. Service was traditional hillsong, full of life, vitality and the Spirit of God. I was pleasantly surprised at the range of ages present, a real encouragement in this early service. A lot was crammed in to the service but it did not feel rushed and the team did well incorporating those who were regular and those visiting.

I am Italian, live in Italy, am a believer and decided to visit the Hillsong church during my visit to New York . Ive been there for the last Sunday service and felt so so happy in seeing thousands of boys and girls singing and praising God from the deep of their heart .. The Holy Spirit was powerfully acting there .. So amazing!!! Never saw something like that inside a Catholic Church in Italy .. Never saw such a a great number of young people so truly in love with Jesus Christ the Lord .. I Thank you God .. thank you so much for this miracle and pray it happens in Italy as well .. We do need an awakening of Your Holy Spirit in our Churches...️

Just an amaing uplifting experience every time I visit it. Every pastor brings a message thats spoken through them but inspired by the word of God fills the spirit of all. The music is beautiful. The presence of God and and the coverage of the Holy Spirit is present in this House of God.
