Watched Ink at this theater. Excellent acting and a well presented play on the famous story about Murdoch. Sat in Orchestra first row seats towards the right-middle side and we had plenty of leg room space to watch the play and be comfortable. Had a great time!

With the reconstruction this is one of the most comfortable theaters in NYC and with that comes all the other things they improved like restrooms and access.

The theatre was very comfortable and cozy. Every seat has a great view. I saw the play Jitney while I was there and it was amazing. The lounge area was beautiful and well kept. Ladies bathroom has plenty of stall so you dont have to wait long to use it. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great theatre!

To be honest there really isn’t a bad seat in this theatre . I can attest to this because I went to see Choir Boy this past Sunday and I was in the rear mezzanine section . Even from the tippy top of the section I could still hear Jeremy Popes lovely voice singing and even out witting other characters throughout the play . The seating was comfortable and I was lucky enough to have a free seat next to me just in case I needed to stretch my legs . The bathroom stalls are standard on the top floor and believe or not the bathroom feels a bit like a sauna upon entry . There is also a lounge where you can buy snacks and drinks if you want to . As far as the decor inside the theatre , I found it to be absolutely beautiful . The theatre looked well maintained and clean. All of the staff members were kind and accommodating . However , they are very adamant about their cell phone policy and they inform you before the play starts of how customers will be reprimanded if they are caught using their devices to video tape any part of the play . I had a great experience at this theatre and I hope to have the opportunity to return to this theatre again.

I definitely hope to come back to this theatre! Its beautiful, and just the right size. It isnt big enough for a lavish spectacle of a show, but perfect for an intimate drama. [I saw INK there, which was great, and the perfect size to really feel engaged with the actors].Thre theatre is also comfortable. The chairs are large and well cushioned. Im not a tiny guy, and I often leave the theatre cramped from being stuffed in those tinier seats. That was not the case here. I was comfortable for the entire show and able to focus on the drama.

A pretty theater with comfortable seats. This is an old style theater with wonderful classically styled decorations and pretty comfortable wide seats. Its built amphitheater style so one is not blocked by the heads of the people in front. The acoustics are great too, because the theater is compact; can clearly hear whats being said from any part of the stage.

What an amazing theater producer! Its great to see a theater producing innovative directors with modern stories that are inspired by the times we live in. I was able to catch the production of Ink and the whole experience was great. The theater is lovely, the production was very well done and was happy to see that recognized by the Tonys. Bravo MTC.

I saw Ink, really great performance, particularly Bertie Carvel as Rupert Murdoch, his further descent into distanced inhumanity has a charming hollowness that feels honest. I am a bit torn about the play itself, its amazing, but in some ways feels too kind, it imbues their Faustian bargain with the same narrative that its leads bemoan. Perhaps thats the point, but its oddly glamorous given the real people that its pinning itself to, and particularly kind to Larry Lamb, given his trajectory it seems unlikely that he found his decisions as fraught as this historical phantom implies.

Great theater to see a play! Ornate and intimate with great sight lines.Saw The Nap there recently and really enjoyed the show. The broadway musical Choir Boy was fantastic. The entire show was absolutely entertaining. The entire cast members were phenomenal. The voices were rich in tone and soulful harmony. The acting was sensational, filled with such intensity from one moment to the next, until the very climatic ending. I also loved that the cast even autographed playbills too. That made it even more of a special night for me. Shout out to all the cast members and crew that made the show pop! Shout out to Jeremy Pope and John Clay lll that signed my play bill . Shout out to the playwright and actor Tarell Alvin McCraney your outstanding and amazing. I really loved your play.

Its a quaint local theater (which I appreciate), but the waiting area is incredibly small and cramped and the actual theater itself does not have the theatrics or the acoustics of any of the Broadway theaters in walking distance. Go if you find a show that interests you, but the theater itself is nothing to go out of your way to see.
