Came here to see Betrayal on Broadway, which was absolutely fantastic. I bought my ticket so I could avoid paying the processing fees had I done it online, and was on the left hand side of the theatre right after you go through bag check. The view was the second row middle mezzanine was awesome. It had a nice view of the stage and you could clearly see what’s going on. The theatre was pretty intimate. The seats were a bit uncomfortable and stiff backed, with little leg room. However it’s pretty and the whole experience of being there was great.

Attended a play called Betrayal at this theatre on Saturday (Oct 26). It is located on 45th between Broadway and 8th. It is a lovely well lit theatre, carpeted throughout. Also, it is clean. There is an available bar, and ushers at every entrance. Every seat is plush. I had a good view of the stage. There are observant ushers at every row. Cell phones are not allowed to be used during performances. Be sure not to bring outside food. However, you can enter with a sealed thermos. Staff are helpful and friendly. Restrooms are accessible on the lower level via stairs near the main entrance.

Thank God I dont have childbearing hips. The seats here are very narrow. Im also glad the seat next to me was empty or else I would have been crammed shoulder to shoulder with my seat mates. I watched in fascination as a big dude a few rows in front of me gathered himself and his coat together in order to squeeze into his seat like reverse Jenga. The staff is good about warning people to turn off their phones. I love my phone too, Im writing this review on it, but when you cant sit still and be inside your own head for 5 mins. without compulsively pulling out your phone... admit that you have a problem.I was seated in Orchestra Row L Seat 10. $40 Rush tickets FTW! There were A LOT of empty seats to my right. I guess those seat filling companies arent doing well because this was a big name show. Well, Charlie Cox will always be a big deal to me.Speaking of Charlie Cox, the stage door set up and managing was some of the best Ive ever seen. I wasnt anywhere near the front but this woman with long arms sent up my playbills for Mr. Cox to sign. He signed them both, including my 3 year old Incognito playbill (I reviewed that show too. Charlie Cox always breaks my heart). But the most impressive stage door performance was from Tom Hiddleston. He signed everything. The woman who prepped the line before they came out warned that there would be no selfies... Hiddleston made her into a liar and took every single selfie. Every. Single. One. Hiddleston was the MVP of the stage door.Other than the width of the seats, its a comfortable theater with great sight lines, great sound, and a well run stage door.

Loved watching Betrayal there. The seats were comfortable. Ended up having a seizure aura during the play though. They rushed me downstairs and were quick to get me safe and comfortable before I started seizing. They gave me water and let me finish the play downstairs before they rushed me out before the lobby became crowded. Also, I would like to thank the Manager, Heidi, for being so kind and courteous to me. For helping me out and letting my friend and I stay for the rest of the play. I appreciate her and her staff immensely.

This is a lovely theatre. Came here to see Bandstand in 2017 and since it’s smaller it feels very intimate. We were seated at the very back of the orchestra and still had a great view of the stage. Seats were comfortable for my 6’3” partner unlike other theatres in the city.

Beautiful decor! Saw Betrayal starring Tom Hiddleston here. Super comfortable seats, not too hot or too cold. Only problem I can think of is that the on-stage action isnt always visible from the left or right Orchestra seats. Although, thats to be expected and almost not worth complaining about... Otherwise, its great! Also, if theres any theatre nerds reading this, I would actually reccomend sitting in the left orchestra because its right next to the exit so you can get to the stage door quicker.... Youre welcome in advance.

This is a beautiful theatre. Small and intimate, At the entranceway to the right and down the stairs was a large womens bathroom. Which was quite nice. Allowed to freshen up from standing outside all night.I was there to see Betrayal. This is an amazing play and has a very limited run. So, if you can make it go. And yes, I have a huge crush on Tom Hiddleston, oh sigh. There is a little bar at the back, with souveneer cups. Though, I wasnt going to risk needing to use the restroom or accidentally spilling my drink like I did on the airplane. (Thankfully that was just water.)The view from Orchestra seats was amazing! The architecture inside a classic. Truely a beautiful place to see an intense and beautifully done play.

I do not recommend seeing Betrayal. My wife and I had dinner before the show. We had 2 pots of green tea. When we got to the theater we were told if you use the bathroom, you will not be allowed back to your seat. Plus we were told “Security” was enforcing the rules. Somehow that does not seem right, especially considering how much we paid for tickets.

Seats on the sides have only partial view. The only toilets are downstairs, but it’s a middle size theatre so it wasn’t too bad.The staff was nice and funny. When we were lining up for Tom Hiddleston , the security guard said (with gesture demos), “no kissing no hugging.”A fan lost her playbill, which was already signed by all three actors of Betrayal, in the crowd. One of the security guard took out a playbill, asked Tom to sign it, and gave it to her.

We ordered our tickets online, only in town for three days and wanted to be sure to see a play. We paid quite a price for for a play that was mediocre. Betrayal. What made it even worse was this. My husband is blind and we were told that the theater had a secondary audio unit that he would be able to listen to during the play. The unit that they gave him did not work. I couldnt really explain to him the visual parts because the folks around us wouldnt have been pleased to hear our whispers and we certainly couldnt get up and go back to the lobby as that would have disturbed others as well. We probably wouldnt have been allowed to leave our seats and come back anyway.

We saw The Ferryman the last week of its run. The play was great, however the theater could improve a few things. First, they need to make an announcement reminding people to turn off their phones, and you wont have at least 5 phones going off throughout the play. Seems like most theaters do this, not sure why they dont here. Also they need to do a better job at preventing people from bringing in outside food. People sitting behind us were eating chips loudly during the performance. Bags need to be searched for this stuff.

Although it is a gorgeous and comfortable theater, there is one particular usher, whom soured my taste. Although I understand that cell phone use is not allowed, she was over-the-top, rude in stressing this fact. I was scared to shut off my phone because she might think I was being unruly. Very snarky and rude woman - she was approximately 50 or 60, had dyed blonde/dirty blonde hair with bangs. I was on my night out, did not need to feel that way! My friend and I went to Jacobs theater to watch the performance of Betrayal on 11/26/2019 at 7 PM. The play was magnificent! Mr. Hiddelston, Mr. Cox and Ms. Ashton did a wonderful job! Sadly my friemd who is prone to seizures had a seizure during the show. Betrayal had at least 25 minutes left. The staff got her downstairs quickly and they acted sufficiently. They made sure she was okay and when she came out of the seizure, they let us finish the play by watching it on a television with headsets since we werent going to be able to stay an extra day. They had offered to let us come back to see it afain but we had to leave to be with our families for Thanksgiving. After the play was over, they led us out of the theater quickly before the crowd exited. I highly recommend tgis theater! The staff was amazing!!! Sat in the mezzanine of this theater for Bandstand. (We thought this show was pretty boring and didnt have good songs, left at intermission.) Part of the reason we left also is that this theaters seats have such little leg room. Your knees are up against the plastic seat in front of you, very uncomfortable (and Im only 52) You cannot move. The only good thing about the mezzanine is that it is stadium seating with an incline that does offer a clear view in front of you. Because of the leg room discomfort, I will make an effort not to return to this theater.
