Watched A Christmas Carol at the Lyceum. Was lucky to get Orchestra seats here and the show was very good. Seats were row J and full view. They were giving out cookies and clementines to everyone at the theater which was quite nice. Leg space is a bit tight but we had a great time here.

One of the three oldest theaters in NYC, the Lyceum has great architecture to take in. The theater isnt huge in size, more of a moderate sized theater, and there really isnt a bad seat. We saw the musical Be More Chill and it was very energetic and fast paced! We really enjoyed it! We were lucky enough to go back stage after the show and see behind the scenes. Its amazing to see how small the stage and side wings actually are (it looked so much bigger from our seats!). The staff and performers were awesome in answering all of our questions and showing us some of the sets, etc.

We went to go see, BE MORE CHILL, aside from being a great musical, the real excitement for me was seeing the Lyceum again. One of the last true palaces within, THE GREAT WHITE WAY. This was the first theater within the this district that was given landmark status. And the owners have truly gone above and beyond in restoring it to its original blueprint that you can ask for. Been there many times and will continue going when a good show presents itself there. Always a pleasure to see a show here. A must for all those who enjoy a theater that was meant to be a true up close and personal experience.

The actors were great. We saw The Play That Goes Wrong. This play is still offered as an extended engagement and for good reason. You will laugh as hard as you have ever laughed. The actors draw the audience into the play. Clever scripting will keep you at the edge of your seats.Personally, we didnt leave our seats for intermission. We couldnt wait for the second half to begin. Water and wine were offered before the play started as well as at intermission.Theater decor is elegant and artistic. You will feel comfortable and relaxed as you are immersed in the grandeur of your surroundings.Well worth your time and money.

Somewhat tight on the seats. Very little legroom. But I am also 58. Zero elbow room. Good view from mezzanine. Mezzanine also has a bar on its floor. Sound system great. Orchestra is on the back portion of stage, but doesnt interfere or take away from the show. The stage door is right out front and the actors come out quickly for autographs and photos. I saw Be More Chill. Good actors, singing, and dancing. But not my type of show. Set in a futuristic high school. Songs could be overly lengthy. Its an easy walk from Penn.

Nice theater with comfortable seats. Gift shop and larger concession stand is below orchestra level with narrow stairwell. Gets very tight when everyone wants to buy souvenirs or snacks. Bathroom for men is on the middle landing of this narrow stairwell. Small but clean enough. Second concession stand on the balcony/mezzanine level. Staff inside where nice enough.

We went to see Be More Chill. What an awesome show! Great performance. Loved everything about the show! Great songs and music. Fantastic performers. Loved the costumes. Great energy. Be More Chill is my new favorite show...and Ive seen Hamilton. (Yes, I said that)The Lyceum Theatre was beautiful. We had seats in the very last top row in the balcony. They were actually great seats. We could see and hear just fine. And there was plenty of room behind the seats for our stuff so we werent crammed in. All the staff directing the crowds of people were very friendly and helpful. After the show the stage door meet and greet was very well organized. The actors came out and were very gracious and appreciative of their fans. All in all a great experience.

Historic old theatre with loads of charm. I bought seats in the balcony without checking to see if they had an elevator for my 86 year old mother. When seeing her where her ticket was the floor manager immediately changed her seat and had her and one of our group sit with her on the main floor. The rest of us sat up on the balcony and thought that the view was just fine. We appreciate the quick thinking and courtesy that was extended to us. The play was fun and well done.

We saw “A Christmas Carol” at the Lyceum Theater. What a charming, beautiful, intimate venue!! We sat in the mezzanine in row A and had a perfect view of the stage. The seats are narrow & close but we were not too uncomfortable. My husband stated “he thought no more about it after the play began because it was so magical.“ The play itself was delightful! The actors & actresses are fabulous, as are their voices & instruments. It was wonderfully done & the acoustics are perfect. I would definitely recommend this venue. We thoroughly enjoyed the performance of these talented artists & walked away with smiles on our faces!!

Great value general rush tickets at 30usd were easy to buy in the morning. There was no queue, and we got front row seats, literally at the middle of the first row. It was a great experience, we could clearly see the expressions on the actors faces and we got totally engrossed in the play. We watched the Play that goes wrong, and was thoroughly entertained. Toilets are a bit inconvenient though, the ladies room was a bit hard to find.

My only complaint was the tiny, very old bathroom with one stall on the mezzanine level. My daughter had to go and we were praying that they did not close the door before she got in. Intermission was 15 minutes and there were about 10 in front of us. They close this bathroom after intermission. We missed the first number after the intermission because of this. Otherwise, a lovely theatre, excellent sound and comfortable seating.

Lyceum is a very cosy theatre. Its smaller than what youd expect if its your first time, but it gives you a great view from most angles. My preference is to be on the mezzanine floor (the middle one) so that you can get a good view of everything include the floor. We watched The Play That Goes Wrong here so there were some parts of the act we couldnt see which had props on the floor when we were sitting right in front of the stage.I also recommend going and seeing the same play if you get a chance and/or youre deciding between this and Book of Mormon.

Be More Chill is an endearing show with 4/5 rating for me. 4 stars for well developed characters, great visual, amazing acting and musical support. Minus one star for the prolonged songs (Michael In The Bathroom) and overly cheesy plot of a High School Musical. Overall a good view for one time; come and check it out, if you already seen the classics.

Compact and elegant old-fashioned theater with excellent sight-lines and good amenities. The bathrooms are a little on the small side so it is a good idea to go before you arrive or else face daunting lines. Despite the comparatively modest stage, they manage to put on some truly impressive productions, and arent afraid of leveraging the latest electronic enhancement in sound and lighting. Recommended.

Beautiful old theatre on 45th Street that has a lot of character. Like most older NYC theatres, bathrooms are small, mens room is down a few steps on the way down to where show store normally is. Womens room is in back of theatre to left down stairs. Seats are comfortable, but small. Aisles are tight. Make sure to look up to see the beautiful stonework on the walls and the nice balconies. The theatre is intimate and in my opinion, is a great place to see a show.

So starting with the theater... It was a nice intimate setting with fairly comfortable seating and more leg room than some of the really old theaters. I had no issue with the theater. (I did not use the bathroom while there so I dont know about the size, cleanliness or even the location so I cant speak to that aspect)Lets talk about, Be More Chill. This is undoubtedly the cheesiest, corniest and weirdest show on Broadway. And yet, I loved every second of it. It makes sense for the older pompous theater critics to not give it a good review. The show doesnt fit their mold. But admittedly, it wont fit the mold of many. Like I said above... it was cheesy, corny and weird. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesnt. For Be More Chill, it worked. The show was filled with high energy for the entire time (there were really no slow musical scores to bring the show down), the cast was phenomenal and talented, and I really had a great time at this show.No qualms about the show or the theater. A real blast. The show requires an open mind. I will stress again... it is a cheesy, corny, and weird show. But also very funny, high energy, and fun.

Great time at the theater. The staff was friendly and efficient. They were able to get everyone into the theater and seated quickly. The seating is typical of any Broadway show. Thanks for a great afternoon !

Middle size theater. Two levels. Restrooms are not available in all floors depending on the gender so check it out before. Lobby is not large like many Broadway theaters but it can fit probably sixty people. Stairs are wide with carpet. It has some character. Stage can be viewed pretty good from almost everywhere so you wont feel the distance.

It was like a trip to the 1970s. There is no AC and they refuse to accommodate people with disabilities. The house manager, Michelle, needed to see my tickets before she would even consider my request. She then skeptically questioned where I bought my tickets. Her: Where did you get these? Me: Online? (Questioningly cuz, where else do you get tickets these days?!?) She then refused to accommodate me. She told me straight out that they would need to try and sell the seats first. I had to wait until curtain (and miss the start of the show) to see if I could be accommodated. If I had offered money, I would have been immediately accommodated. So only people who are financially well-off are accommodated at this theater. I would skip seeing a show, before seeing it at the Lyceum. It was a very bad experience that tested the boundaries of our accessibility laws. My rating would be lower but, sadly, zero stars is not an option.

I went to the Dominion Theater to see Bat Out of Hell this past week. I was able to get a ticket in the center stalls for around $40 10 minutes before the show. Ill be honest, the show wasnt my favorite, but it was somewhat entertaining. I did like the theater however. The seats are fairly large with plenty of legroom, a rarity in my experience. The servers at the bars were quick as well, and the line seemed to move quickly. I would have liked to see some more snack options, but what they had was better than nothing. A nice theater but definitely one of the worst laid out in Broadway. if you want to use the mens room you have to go down the stairs. Right in front of the stairs is a refreshment bar so you have to make your way past the people in line for that. Then you get down the stairs and you have to turn around and go back up the stairs to a landing for the mens room. theres a flock of people coming downstairs to refreshments and the merchandise store. Coming back up people could not get out because of the line of the upstairs refreshment bar and we were just trapped on the stairs. Neither management or ushers to charge of helping this situation. One of the patrons asked the people at the bar to move aside of the people up the stairs. Pretty ridiculous. What poor management.

Went to see Be More Chill on April 7th. The theatre is very large inside, but leg room is a bit of an issue. The balcony gets a bit hot because of the lights and the main lobby gets cramped before a show and intermission.
