Amazing experience!! Totally in love with the show.️️ It was an entire story filled with comedy moments and amazing songs. Very talented artists and actors/actresses. The visual effects were absolutely stunning! Would totally love to do this again!

My experience was good from a to z. This theater is beautiful and well decorated. Concessions well attended and with fast and good customer service. It was a little bit pricey but cocktails where good and at the end, its Broadway! I was there to see Wicked. I bought main center seats and the view was spectacular. The set designs where awesome and well manage across the play. I surely recommend this theater.

I dont think theres a bad seat in the house. Sound acoustics good. I didnt see all of one stage prop(part of banner shielded by top of stage), but all other props in all scenes & acts very good. Stage lighting & affects good. Easy, fast entry & exit with escalators.

Wicked is awesome! Really amazing time. I did sneak one picture! Don’t tell. This was the best play we have ever seen by far. Go!

I went to see Wicked at the Gershwin Theater. The show was filled with talented actresses and the stage looked phenomenal. Even though I caught last minute tickets and my seat was on the 4th floor, I was still able to enjoy the show. This theatre is very well organized. The staff communicates instructions well and they all relay the same answers. The theatre also appears to be well kept and clean. Admittedly, during this particular show, there was an overflow of singing (yes, I know its a musical) and I was so deep into the plot that I didnt want to wait until the singing was over to see what happened next. Now, if you want an inexpensive souvenir from the show, my advice is to buy a fountain drink at the concession stand. It comes with a cup that displays the play on it.

Wicked is hands down one of the best Broadway shows. If you cant afford to pay full price, they have two daily lotteries and its very reasonable! 10/10 would recommend.

Came to see WICKED with my job. It did not disappoint at all! The theater was pretty easy to navigate. If you get turned around the staff is great at helping you locate your seat. Not much leg room with the seating but thats not a problem. I think Ill be back more frequently.

Saw my daughter perform at Arts For Autism tonight, and it was wonderful! Thanks to the theater for letting such an awesome event happen!

I was here to see wicked, and the theater and show were really nice. The cast played their roles well, the theater itself was immersive, and I am overall impressed.

First time at a Broadway/off Broadway show and saw WICKED what an amazing show. The affects and the cast were outstanding. If you havent seen WICKED I highly recommend seeing the show. Easy to get to and seats and view are great no matter where you sit.

This is one of the larger theaters on Broadway. it has really good sight lines, really good sound, but because its modern it lacks some of the ornamentation of the older theaters. For example, the chandeliers are much simpler looking. However because its modern, it also has escalators, more restrooms, and a little more legroom at each of the seats. We saw Wicked, and were very pleased with our seats, how easy it was to get to them, and how nice everything sounded. The theater also has a lot of theatrical memorabilia scattered around it, so if youre into that sort of thing...

It is really good place to experience the musical here!There are soooo many pepole around here everyday, but i thought it is pretty well-organized and tidy area

We had a great time watching Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre! It was probably the highlight of our week in NYC. The place was packed out, but the great staff made sure everything ran like a well-oiled machine. The performances were excellent, and the experience was amplified by the amazing set, props, and audio. The picture shown is our view from the orchestra Row M. Couldnt recommend more!!

I absolutely loved this theatre. It’s beautiful inside. We took my son to see Wicked which was his first Broadway. He loved every minute of it!

Lovely place, i love how the set is built slightly into the audience it makes you feel really part of the shenanigans in OZ! The shine was amazing i cant wait to go back and see it again. Also if you like behind the scenes type stuff make sure you check out behind the curtain its informative and alot of fun

It was our first time seeing Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre. The performance of Wicked was humorous, emotional and overall spectacular. It tells the story of how the Wicked Witch of the West of Wizard of Oz was framed ..... (find out when you get there)... We got seats in the middle section N108 to N111 and they were fantastic. First broadway music for my teenagers and they loved it.

I saw Wicked here with some friends. The show was awesome! The theater itself is very pretty. Staffs super friendly. I would totally go here again when in N.Y.

Wow, what an experience! We saw WICKED. The sets were amazing, the set changes were fantastic! The actors, the entire experience, everything was one of the best times I have ever had. Many thanks to everyone who made this happen!

Small but comfy venue. I purchased discounted tickets as a government employee, so our seats were in the rear orchestra in the center, but the view was still fantastic. In fact it was nice being able to see the entire stage and crew as they performed. Great show with nice exhibits to look at during intermission.

Great theater, nice views, great production of Wicked. Historic site, good concessions, nice employees. In the middle of the theater district off Times Square.

The actors performing Wicked were phenomenal. I was amazed by the vocal talent alone. All I can say is wow. What a show.

Oklahoma here was great! I liked all the special effects and the singers were great. It’s a very unique space for a musical and I hope that more interesting, immersive venues (like this one) open up soon

Beautiful and historical Broadway theater with a spacious atrium area and plenty of comfortable seats. The seat rows are on a decline and each view should be a great one. There are both stairs as well as escalators/elevators for wheelchair accessibility. The wonderful sound system and acoustics add to the theater experience here.

First ever experience in Broadway. Very professional staff and efficient. Super clean facility and intermission and scenes are always on time. Wicked was amazing and I recommend everyone of all ages to see it.

Great place to visit if you are near Times Square. If you like Broadway Musicals dont hesitate to catch one here. We took a quick trip to NY so that my daughter could watch Wicked as a graduation gift. She absolutely loved it. Visiting Gershwin Theatre was a great experience for us all.

Beautiful theater. Very large with so many seats, all presumably with good views. I sat in a farther back orchestra row and although I could not see the actors faces, their bodies still exuded their emotion. Stage gimmicks were all great to see, loved the set up. Would reccomend seeing Wicked in this theatre if youre considering seeing a broadway show.

Once in a lifetime experience for me. Ginna Claire Mason as Glinda was witty, fantastic and simply magnificent as were the whole cast! It was my first Broadway in October 2019. Amazing!

Saw King Kong on Broadway. The tech theatre crew gets big kudos for how they maneuvered that monkey! The pics dont do it justice.

Grand theatre, full house for Wicked, stunning stage design, great acting, but weak music score! You’d remember none of the melodies, unlike The Phantom of The Opera!

Wicked is by far my favorite Broadway show to see. The cast are extremely talented and the story is very well written with a creative touch. Itll have you fully engaged and is well worth the money. One of the best ways you can spend 3hrs of your time in NYC!

We saw Wicked and the production quality was amazing! We were blown away. The set design, lighting and effects are world class.The theater is definitely one of the larger and more comfortable venues. The seats have a more reasonable width than most and very accommodating for a longer production.The venue is large and designed to accommodate larger crowds. Lines move quickly at the concession stands and restrooms. Exiting is a bit messy, but thats always the case with big events. The staff did a good job shepherding people through the venue to the exit, but a bit more signage would be helpful.

Nothing less than spectacular!Must go if you are into plays.

Beautiful theater! The best parts were that it wasnt 1,000 degrees in the mezzanine (if anything it was a tad chilly, which I prefer over sweating the entire show) and the seats werent so narrow my hips had to be squished every time I sat down. In fact, they were quite roomy with lots of leg room, as well. Also, Wicked is just too amazing for words.

Fantastic experience. Outstanding job to all of the cast and crew. Orchestra seats offer an excellent view of the stage. Mezzanine is angled such that you can easily see the stage from anywhere. Just dont sit in row A unless you have short legs. Snacks and drinks are available in the hallway outside, as well as a full bar on the upper floors. They dont allow colored beverages in, however, so bring only water.

This theatre is clean, nice, and there really isnt a bad seat. We sat in th balcony on the front row and we had amazing views of the show. The story of WICKED was wonderful and the performers were incredible. I highly recommend you see this show.

We took our granddaughter to see Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre. She was blown away at how beautiful it was. The show was fabulous! Even after 17 years on Broadway, this theater is packed. I highly recommend it as a must see if you are in NYC.

It was our first time visiting a Broadway theater so I dont have much of a reference point but IT WAS SUCH AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! If you have the opportunity, then GO!

Wicked was amazing! Great for kids and adults. If you are a true Wizard of Oz fan you will love this play.

Had so much fun! Definitely want to go again if I get the opportunity! We sat in pretty much the back of the theater but everything seemed so close up it surprised me. Food and concessions were a little pricey but that was really the only thing that was a problem and even that wasnt horrible. I am very pleased with how everything was set up as well. When you walked out of the theater from the 3rd floor you could like instantly see walls covered with actors and actresses who had passed through there from the balcony. It was incredible!

Saw WICKED for the first time ever!Such a great show! The Theatre itself was clean when we were there! Plenty of helpful staff to direct people to which section and seat they were supposed to be seated. We will definitely be back for another show!!!

Clean and open air theatre. Seating was spacious. Bathrooms were kept meticulously and ushers were professional and helpful. Very easy to find this location as there are many billboards along the street to help. We saw Wicked and the performance was amazing!

Beautiful teather. Amazing performance. Actors are incredibly talented and their voices are magnificent. Only bad thing is that people in the front row kept taking pictures and videos (even though they were told not to do it before the play started ) and talking so it was distracting. It would have been helpful if staff talked to them personally. Overall, my experience was great!

I had a delightful experience at Gershwin when I went to see Wicked last weekend. Venue was clean, with interesting artifacts and memorabilia staged throughout the theater. Staff above and beyond with their friendly, helpful and welcoming attitude.

I love a establishment that can control a massive crowd and maintain a professional type of atmosphere! An amazing experience with no inconveniences at all! Clean bathrooms, friendly smiles, down to earth hospitality!

My girlfriend and I came to watch wicked and it was our first time watching it. I went in not knowing anything about it other than it being tied to the wizard of oz. When we got in the theater it was an amazing atmosphere. Like you were transported to a different world. The set design was incredible. The music. The spectacle of it all was amazing. I loved the show. I loved the music. I loved the story. To everyone else reading this who hasnt seen this broadway show please do yourself a favor and try to watch it. Bring the kids. Bring the wife. Bring some friends and family. Its a wonderful time.

My family went here to see wicked and it was worth it. The auditorium was very nice and they had people telling us where to go so you wouldn’t get lost. This place was breathtaking.

Saw Wicked here with my wife in New York vacation as our first official Broadway show on Broadway. Definitely worth the experience!! Theatre itself was gorgeous and even walking the halls you felt a part of the experience. The show was amazing, everything and more you could expect of a Broadway show.

Went here to see Wicked! It was amazing! Had fantastic seats, and got there right as the show begin! The only downside, is the bathroom line is excruciating during intermission. Also, if you use the restroom, you can forget about getting a drink at the bar. You have to choose wisely, because you cannot have any drinks or food from the outside. With that being the exception, it was the perfect performance that I have always wanted to see.

Decent theater, great sight lines from rear side orchestra. I won this lottery and was shaking with excitement to experience this long awaited bucket list item! It is well worth the regular price. I plan on revisiting for a closer view Elfabas vocals are SUPER human!

Nice theater, good seats in row M, the vocals were really inaudible almost every time that the whole cast sang together. Solos OK. Disappointing...

The show was great. Never would I have thought that wicked would be my cup of tea (or bucket of water)... The staff were a little weird in the theater and were quick to request tips before you can even give them. Other than that this was a great experience and nice evening. As with any Broadway show the prices of drinks and snacks are high so make sure to be prepared for that. For example a non alcoholic slushy was 10 add about an ounce of liquor and it was $20. On the bright side you do get a nice cup to take home.

I went to see Wicked and it was so good, I loved every minute of the show. The singing was great and the chemistry between Ginna Claire Mason (Glinda) and Emily Rogers (Elphaba) was bright on stage. Cant wait to see it again and take my niece cause I know she would love it

Had a friend in from out of town so I took her to see Wicked. The staff was extremely helpful as she is in a wheelchair. Seats were amazing to see the show and parking was extremely convenient. She also enjoyed all of the stage memorabilia on display before the show started.

We saw Wicked. My wife and daughter loved it. I really dont care for musicals, but even I enjoyed it. We had an issue with our tickets, but staff straightened it out for us. We are still so grateful. The seats were comfortable, and reasonably sized. We were in the upper balcony but still had a pretty good view and no problem at all hearing. They do search bags before you enter. Saw them make some people throw soft drinks away. My only complaint is that it cost $8 for a relatively small soft drink. WOW

We had a fantastic time! We were 2d row, stage left which is considered a partial view spot. But I dont think there is a bad seat in the Gershwin. What an awesome theater and show!

Wicked loved the show. Seats are good enough sized for a large (67 295lb) person. I dont believe there is a bad seat in the place.

Seems like the largest theatre in NY. You can see and hear at the top rows. The floor levels have art display of the play. Literally like walking through a museum with all the pictures of former actors. Show goes up promptly.

Wicked. Great theater, good staff. They need to understand traffic flow. They create congestion at food service with the merchandise lines. Also, bad idea letting the women in the mens rooms at intermission.

Great theater. The Wicked show is awesome. I watched the Wizard of Oz cartoon when I was little and this show retells the story from a completely different perspective. There are a couple plot twists which I am not gonna spoil. Compared to theaters on Broadway, Gershwin theater has a lot of leg space.

Saw Wicked and enjoyed it so much. It gave me goosebumps and tears of happiness. They have drinks in commemorative cups and really nice souvenirs but they are a bit pricey. Very comfortable theater and kind, helpful staff.

We saw Wicked on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at the Gershwin. The theater is absolutely fabulous. The seats are roomy and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and happy to be there. The theater is steeped in memories and so lovely. Every area there was something to see.The play...the best play we have seen in years! The sets, costumes and actors were stunning. The orchestra did a marvelous job! We are so happy we picked this particular show! Simply the best!!!

Amazing theatre where we saw Wicked. Musicals arent my thing but this was a great show...after all its Broadway. My wife absolutely loved it and you will too. Be sure to get there at least 15 minutes early. 30 is probably better. If you have an extra arm and leg to spare then you can get drinks (including alcohol) and snacks at intermission.

One of the larger Broadway Theatres and as such lacks a little of the charm and historic architecture of the smaller and older venues. Currently showing Wicked, which is a great family show with stellar performances. No real complaints, but performances here seem a little more corporate and effects laden. For most this is probably preferred so see this show at this venue without reservation. Incidentally, the live orchestra is also the largest of any current Broadway shows.

We saw Wicked here, and it was absolutely phenomenal. It was easy to get into the theater because they had several different entrances. And it was one of the very few times that I did not have to wait on a long line for a theater bathroom. It is definitely one of the newer-looking theaters. The seats are more gently graduated than something like the Majestic theater where you feel like youre stacked on top of one another. Personally I definitely love the old Broadway theatre feel, but there were definite advantages to this more modern theater. Highly highly recommend Wicked as a show.

Saw Wicked here. The theatre is a intimate size for broadway. Even with a long line for the woman’s restroom, it moved really fast. Very clean.

A whole new Wicked experience.Having seen Wicked multiple times at the West End I thought seeing it on Broadway would be much the same but I was wrong. The immersive experience and amazing performance put on by the cast really created a whole new production. 10/10.

Always well-kept, the staff is nice, and the bathrooms are well maintained. The lady beside me vomited just before intermission. A cleaning crew was quick to respond, ensuring the area was suitable for guests again.

We see Wicked!!! Wow. WOW!!! What an incredible production and beautiful story. There imagination that went into those musical and three effecting by the scripts was amazing. The theatre itself was a wonderful venue!

Beautiful theater! But nothing savory to order at the bar, ladies room has a line 25 deep and the mens room has none. For 2 tickets the same price as my hotel for 3 day stay in NY, Id like to have seen better.

Saw Wicked. Show and cast were wonderful. Theater was was nice but the security personnel could have been nicer. Tried to use the restroom, look at some of the displays and the theaters architecture, and make a purchase at the gift shop but was followed & pressured to exit the building after the show. Did not appreciate this treatment.

Well thought out Theater. Great angled seats. Enjoyed Wicked with my family. They have a bathroom attendant in the womans bathroom to help point out empty stalls and move things along efficiently, making a huge difference for ladies during intermission. Love the history of the theater and the way it is decorated.

We saw Wicked recently at the Gershwin Theater, and it was a fantastic experience! We only waited outside for about 15minutes, and once inside, the flow to our seats was easy and quick. There were great merchandise counters, with very little wait, and a concession bar as well. For a fully packed house, the staff made the experience effortless, and the show was AWESOME!
