We saw Frozen here at St James and the theatre was amazing. The place is clean, they have many bathroom stalls so the line was never really long. The balcony seats were great we were able to see absolutely everything on stage without obstructions. This theatre was a place I would definitely recommend to others.

O....M.....G. When I saw this magical performance, I could have sworn that I was in a dream world. The theater looks amazing, the Frozen cast were fantastic and the souvenirs look beautiful. It was super funny and I did tear up a little at the end. No spoilers so you have to come and experience it for yourself the way I did. Friendly staff, clean restrooms, and although the prices are up there, it is still worth the spending and not to mention that it is Manhattan were talking about here. I actually came here because my mother surprised me with a ticket to see the show tonight. If I have the chance again, Ill see the show again and again. In my opinion, Im not sure which is better: the show or the actual movie. Thanks, mom!!!!

I came here to watch Frozen with my family. The theatre was very clean and we had center balcony seats. The view was great. We had one row in front of us but you can see from the photos, we could visibly see everything we needed. My children enjoyed the experience. On the same floor are souvenirs making it convenient to get momentos.Bathrooms were well kept and staff were very accommodating/friendly.They provided booster seats for my children. You can choose to use 1 or stack 2 if needed. We used 1 booster seat.

Great overall experience! We were in the partial view on the left balcony in row p seat 31 and 33 and the view was amazing! We could see the entire show clearly with minimal obstruction. The reason for the four stars is the seating is extremely tight. I am 6 feet and my shins were pushing on the seat in front of my the entire time. If you are tall this show may be less than comfortable, but is definitely worth it!

We saw Frozen at this theatre and can say that it was a truly great experience. The venue is located just off Times Square. Its a quaint little theatre that looks steeped in history. Upon entry there is a bar area on your left hand side, access to the theater just beyond that and toilets further ahead just down the stairs. There is also a cloak room available. I didnt get the chance to check if there were more accessible toilets on the same floor.Leading up to the show the bar area can be quite busy, manoeuvring around with young ones can be quite the task Id advise getting there early, but getting your refreshments and then settling into your seats. The staff are great and help out where possible. The theatre itself is well sized, and its not too big or too small, in my opinion its just right for a show. The seats are on an incline so viewing the stage should be OK even if theres someone tall in front of you. The seats are comfortable and the theatre is the right size for a great atmosphere. As for the show itself.... Amazing, the stage allows for some great props that made Frozen a truly spectacular performance. This doesnt come out in the UK till next year, so i had some very jealous nephews and nieces!!All in all, the if you come to New York, you simply have to see a Broadway show. And St. James Theatre is the perfect place to catch a show.I didnt get many decent pictures because it was so busy

The theatre was clean and the bathrooms a were clean as well. I as very particular when I use public restrooms. However the seats were pretty small and tight to fit into. We went to watch Frozen Broadway here! Its such an awesome experience! The show was an hour long and we enjoyed so much. The show was so beautifully acted and stages so well decorated, with lighting and laser arts! Mind blowing! Must go to watch a Broadway here if you can. We took the upper row seats in balcony bit the view was fine, not too far away.

I was there last night to see Frozen on Broadway. I had a really great time! There were staff posted by the doors and stairways to help give directions and answer any questions that people might have. Staff members were also helping people rearrange their seats if they wanted to be closer to their friends and there was space to accommodate them. There was a concession stand on the ground floor as well as the second floor, a small souvenir/gift shop across from the concession stand on the first floor, and the coat check area.

The theater was very beautiful and show was AWESOME but my one complaint was is top balcony seating ( were we sat) you can not see actors that good when they are very close to front edge of stage due to children sitting on extra cushions ( leaning over to see)and tall guest sadly you can only hear the actors on certain parts so if the actors were further back a little then viewing from balcony would been much better. BTW one nice thing about sitting up there you can see all the awesome effects in the show. I will definitely come back but think more on seating.

I loved seeing Frozen here! The show was amazing of course but strictly speaking about the theatre, the staff was incredible. Security and box office were incredibly friendly under pressure and helped me have an easy experience when my bag (an overnight bag crammed with stuff) was too full to search. They were the kindest people I’ve ever met at a Broadway theatre. The venue is really clean and staff was efficient in cleaning up all the fake snow between performances. They also allow photos in the theatre before the show (and at curtain call) which is amazing, never understood why some places get mad when you photograph the empty stage!

5-stars to the play - I got to experience Frozen on Broadway here. This musical was extremely well done! The cast did an amazing job! The crew did fabulous with the sets and props and timing everything! The 3-stars goes to the architect who designed the seating only for people under 5.5 tall and petite. Its worse than commercial airline seating. If I ever venture back to NYC, I would ensure that my Broadway experience was fulfilled at a different theater.

Frozen was just AWESOME !!! The actors were just wonderful. Their singing & performances deserves only the highest of praise. Everyone is extremely talented! Beyond that, the storyline, settings, the stage and the costumes were simply breathtaking! I think we could watch this play over and over again. It is almost 2.5 hours long but moves so quickly that you dont even realize the time. Hats off to EVERYONE involved!

Saw Frozen there last week. The show was fantastic but the St. James needs to consider updates. The seats are narrow and there is little to no leg room. If you have mez or balcony seats there is no elevator to the upper levels. We had 2 people in our party that walk it canes. They offered no substitute seats for these people. So much for NYC LAWS for accessibility. Will not be going back to see shows here in the future. For the price of the tickets it would be nice to have comfortable seating.

Went to see Frozen with my 3 young nieces. They loved the play! I thought it was really good as well. The theater was clean, well organized and the staff was very friendly. The part that left me in awe though was after the snow. My brother accidentally broke the tea cup I bought my niece at the show so he reached out to the venue to see if he would be able to purchase a replacement. Jim Barry and Brian Busby went above and beyond to help my brother get a replacement. The customer service that they provided was the best I’ve ever seen and is not very common in this day and age. Thank you Jim and Barry for making a little girl very happy. We’ll definitely be back.

My experience would have been phenomenal if it weren’t for the security coming into the theatre. The security person was very rude to my daughter and I. This upset me very much. I spent a lot of money to take my daughter to see Frozen. I feel the way we were treated made our experience less than it should have been. I myself will not go back to this theatre after experiencing this. The house manager was apologetic and so nice when I asked to s speak to someone. The staff was very nice as well. However, the way I was spoken to by the security person made the occasion that was suppose to be great (my daughter’s first broadway show) to an unpleasant one. The play was really great, but my experience from the start left me uneasy and shocked. I really hope they don’t keep this person or take him away from the security line.

Nice, small theater - saw Frozen. If you are not tall bring a booster - one member of our party could only “hear” the show. Good show except for the flesh colored bodysuits which were meant to make the cast look naked. Several children near me thought they were naked and there was no convincing them otherwise for the rest of the show - very distracting. It would have been awesome if they had left out that very un-Disney and unnecessary scene.

Great venue, but very disrupted performance because of the lack of oversight on the audience. Rudeness abounds.Cell phone use from the adults (distracting light from screen) and children who werent controlled by their parents (not the venues fault but more reminders from them would help curtail the problem). Its understandable that it was an attractive show for children (Frozen) so Id expect a better behaved audience for other performances. The show was incredible because of the performers and made even better by the outstanding special effects... How DID that dress disappear during Elsas song!?!Overall, this was an amazing show that was only marred by the rudeness (ignorance?) of other audience members - - but completely MAGICAL on its own!
