The Schoenfeld is a classic Broadway theater on 45th street. The seating can be somewhat tight but otherwise it is a great venue to watch any of the great plays they promote.

What a beautiful play and an amazing story at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. The theatre itself was very organized & clean( even the day after Christmas ) with all the chaos going on. They had people coming in from multiple different doors quickly explaining ticket scanning & seating direction. They had ushers at every station which made it easy locating your seats. They had a decent sized bar with many different selections. The theater is conveniently located to many restaurants and shops which makes it a great for a full night out in the city! The orchestra for Come from Away was wonderful.. the actors and actresses did a great job portraying the real life characters from the day of 9-11. If you’re interested in seeing a play with meaning and a background story, this would definitely be a great one.

A beautiful theater and a great venue to see an amazing musical, Come From Away The seating is a typical Broadway style with tighter seats but the legroom was nice. Anywhere in the orchestra is a fantastic seat. The bathrooms were clean and not too bad of lines with a packed house. There are 3 bars and I would recommend going to the downstairs bar as no one was there. Enjoy the show!

Nice theater. Came here to see come from away. Sat in first row orchestra seats and had the best view. Seats are comfortable and theater is very nice. It was a packed house. We got wine for the show. Had a good time watching a great show!

The theater is old, as in 100 plus years old... But theyve done a good job keeping it clean and well maintained. Really a great theater. We saw Come From Away here, and loved the show. The stage is a little smaller than many other Broadway shows, and so this theater caters to smaller productions like CFA. The leg room was okay... not enough to cross your legs or stretch out, but these shows are so good that isnt necessary. The leg room is what youd expect for any of these older theaters. The only reason I docked a star was because the seats seemed a little more narrow than most theaters, maybe an inch or two less. Otherwise a great little gem!

We went here to see Come From Away. Theatre was quaint and cozy. Refreshments were a little pricey. The one drawback is you have to go down the stairs to use the restroom. Only a handicap restroom is on the main level. Great seats. Even the balconies give you a terrific view for a lower price. The show itself is just what we need in this country right now. Kind, uplifting, poignant and funny. One of my favorites!

I went to see Come From Away here, and it was amazing. As of the theatre, the lighting is very good and the stage has a turn table.

Went to Come From Away musical. It was amazing. Tells the story of airline passengers on 9/11 who were stuck in Newfoundland and the people who took them in. Touching prospective of how the events and the 5 days they spent there changed their lives forever.

Really good quality, nice seats, and an amazing acoustic system.

Awesome show which followed visiting the 911 Memorial. Great story you should go, small beautiful theater, funny cast, many emotions.

Saw Come From Away here and loved it. I cried, I clapped, I was mesmerized. I couldnt jump up fast enough for the standing ovation!

This review is NOT about the theatrical play but the physical establishment.My family and I went to see a play here late last summer. Although the theatre itself seemed quite fancy with a lovely view, we found the seats quite narrow and uncomfortable. Not certain of the more expensive ones are roomier but our on the mid-back werent. Just my opinion on this.As for the play: Come From Away was very good w/ an excellent cast.

Fabulous show last night, Come From Away. One of the best shows Ive seen and over the years and Ive seen quite a few. Highly recommend everyone go and see this musical. It was funny, poignant, clever and thoroughly entertaining.

A beautiful vintage theater with very comfortable seats, great sound and professional lighting. Theres not a bad seat to be had. There is a bar there but be prepared... it cost 42 dollars for a beer and a wine. The good news is; you can take them to your seat while you watch your show. The mens room is downstairs and there is a ladies room both up and downstairs.

We went to see “Come from away” which was amazing! The theatre is nice,not much leg room. The drinks are very expensive. I wanted to buy a t-shirt and they told me that I can’t try it on! Mmm hello!! A woman never buys clothing without being able to try it on or to return them! So you lost my sale! 5 stars for the play and the artists! 3 stars for the rest!

Magnifico! Love the Story Far and Away!

We saw Come From Away and it was absolutely amazing! But this review is for the venue. The theatre is small, but very well organized and designed. The seats are comfortable and there are plenty of leg room to sit through no-intermission shows. Ladies, the bathroom is big and had no line! This is a huge bonus as many other Broadway theatres have real issue with the size of their bathrooms.

Come from away was one of the best and most moving shows I have ever seen. The music and acting was spectacular and I highly recommend it.

Its the current home of Come From Away. Like all older Broadway theaters, its small, but that just adds to the charm. It was clean, seats seemed newer and were comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Come From Away definitely lives up to the hype and is at home here.

Come From Away was really good. Nice theatre too, but no mens restroom upstairs. Better plan your bathroom break accordingly.

We bought Standing Room tickets to see Come from Away. We had a completely unobstructed view of the entire production. It was great to be able to move around and while watching such a great musical. I would definitely get Standing Room tickets again.

I saw Come From Away here. The show is HIGHLY recommended, as are tissues.The theater is beautiful. Slightly cramped as people find their way to their seats, but still manageable. The staff were quick, professional, and very friendly to work with.

It was a great theater. The building is beautiful and its very easy to see the stage even with people right in front of you. The play we saw was excellent and we really enjoyed ourselves. They treat you very well in this theater and I I would recommend it.

The show Come from Away I went to watch was really good. One downside is the seat size/ leg space. I was struggling in one position for 100 minutes.

Two level theater, saw show Come From Away grate show!

This is a lovely theater where all of seats have a great view. Some Broadway theaters need expensive seats close to the stage, but with this theater, you can have balcony seats with a clear view of the performance.

We had an intimate experience at the theater seeing Come From Away. Refreshments were pricey, but the service was great and they even offered a triple wine pour for patrons who want to enjoy a casual few drinks during the show.

The Schoenfeld is a smaller theatre which allows for a more intimate setting. We saw Come From Away and it was an awesome performance! I am ready to visit New Foundland!

The theater itself was very nice. The box office is relatively small of there are multiple people purchasing tickets, but there is lots of seating all throughout the theater so everyone can see the show.The mens bathroom is located on the lowest level while can be difficult if your seat is higher up. There are stands for refreshments on every level and vendors who walk through the theater. The rows of seats were a little small and cramped.Great experience overall!

Gorgeous theater with a friendly efficient professional staff. Seats arent the most comfortable in the world. But when you make your money by amount of seats you sell its understandable that they would be small and packed tight.

We had a great time watching Come From Away. The light is very good. Inside its a classic theatre setting, which suits its location at main boardway district.

Overall: great. Charming facility, friendly staff, modern spotless restrooms, clear audio. Seats a little tight but have seen much worse.

Nice theater, small lobby. Souvenir and concession stand just behind orchestra level. Ushers a little or a lot on the surly side mainly the ones working the front of the orchestra. But forget about them. Enjoy this emotional roller coaster of a ride that will leave you saddened but uplifted at the same time.

We came here to see Come From Away and honestly it was one of my happiest moments of 2019! Im so glad we saw it and experienced the heart-warming and remarkable story about the people from Gander, Newfoundland.The orchestra was fantastic and the audience erupted with an uproar of an ovation. We clapped, swayed, and cheered in unison for minutes after the showed ended. What I experienced today gave me a renewed sense of compassion and unity for humanity.

Beautiful old theater on Broadway with great views of the stage from every seat and terrific acoustics. Seats are on the small side, so big and tall folks will need to stretch at intermission.

Comfortable seating, helpful and happy personalit6of the ushers, and the great excitement was the stellar performance! A delightful evening.

Small Broadway theater, where I saw Come From Away. The theater only has the orchestra and mezzanine. Seats are very small, so plan ahead. Drinks are expensive as well. Easy to get in and out.

Come From Away is about the good stories to tell after 9/11. Gander, Newfoundland open their hearts and their homes to the plane people were diverted once US airspace closed. The theater seating was comfortable and even though I purchased a ticket that said partially obstructed view, I dont feel I missed anything and really became enraptured in the performance.

This was a great experience. Really cosy theatre setting. The facilities were clean and tidy and the staff we friendly. We saw Come From Away and the show was excellent. I cant say Im a play buff but it was really good. If youre in Manhattan I thinks its something that shouldnt be missed.

We were here for a show the other night which we really loved so I am biased, but we had the cheapest tickets (sitting) that we could find and they were still pretty good. I didnt feel that our enjoyment was lowered because of the position of our seats.

Ive seen Come From Away here twice, and The Humans once. Its a smaller venue that I think the stage is *just* too small for. The SRO seats give you about 90% of the action from the rear center due to the mezzanine overhang and the side mezz or balc seats have you gaping into the wings just a bit. Luckily, Come From Away (the current tenants as of August 2019) is a phenomenal show that demands your attention at all times so its unlikely youll run into these issues more than once, if at all.

I love this smaller intimate Broadway theater. Efficient staff that has it down. Come from away was amazing to boot. I truly havent been moved by a show like that in s few years and the intimate stage contributed to that.

Beautiful, well maintained, older theater. Not a bad seat in the house. Staff was polite and efficient. Legroom is limited but better than some other older theaters. Drinks can be purchased on any floor and taken to your seats in the souvenier travel cup. Take out a bank loan if you do.
