The blue man group will not disappoint. Great show. The intimate setting and crowd involvement made it special. It was funny and up beat. Do yourself the favor and go see them. I really didnt want it to end. My only gripe was the bathroom situation. But other than that it was fantastic.

Intimate little theatre with a really great vibe — and the Blue Man Group is great! Use the bathroom before the show, because once you get in your seat there is no getting out unless everyone in your row gets up. There is barely any leg room for a large/tall person.

One of my friends took me here as a surprise for my birthday to see Blue Man Group. I have always wanted to see them. The theater is very intimate, and honestly there isnt a bad seat in the house, you can see the entire show. The group was AMAZING! The show is interactive, and lots of fun. They incorporate science into their show, but it is far, far from boring. The performers will come into the audience during the show every now and then, which is 90 minutes long, with NO intermission, but honestly you dont even notice the time passing. Im not sure if there is an entrance for anyone who has mobility issues, however, there is a larger restroom for anyone using a wheelchair. The only drawback is a very small ladies room, which can have a line both before and after she show. However, even with this, I had a wonderful time, laughed and sang. One more important note: if anyone suffers from migraines or epilepsy, think carefully about going to see the show, because there is a part where there are flashing lights, which might trigger an episode. I am not sure if they change the performance every now and then, or if every show incorporates these lights, so a call to the theater would be a good idea, if there are any concerns. Seeing this show was one of the BEST birthday gifts I was ever blessed to receive.

The theatre itself was small but cosy. But as most people, we came here to see Blue Man Group show. Me and wife enjoyed show very much. Show wasnt static, it was a lot of interactions with the audience. Really fun and recommended.

Beautiful old theater, with ample sitting room. The staff was appropriately helpful. Mezzanine was good, but wished we were closer (somewhere in the first few rows).

Its a fun show. I got the package which includes a snack & a drink. I was in tears several times since Ive laughed so hard. We all enjoyed it a lot! Theres no intermission & its an hour & a half show so you better prepare for that especially if youre bringing your little ones.

We had a ball watching off Broadway Blue Man Group. The show was as advertised, we got good seats the day we wanted. My son is 12 and we had a ball. Great family entertainment.

Friendly professional staff. Small enjoyable venue with a balcony. We were there for The Blue Men Group. We sat in the second row and were given rain ponchos to wear....and grateful to have them since we came from work wearing suits.

Didnt know what to expect initially but was a little apprehensive about the poncho seating.*No spoilers* It was the best seat in the house apparently. The show was super fun! Lots of great moments and even some crowd participation. Cant say much more without spoilers, so go see the show and enjoy!

The Blue Man Show is one of the best show Ive watched so far. An interactive and entertaining show for all ages. Worth the money. Note however that some ticketing agents charged lower service fees than others. Check the different sites first b4 buying.

This was my first blue man performance and it was very entertaining. It’s good wholesome fun for all ages. My 9 year old absolutely loved the performance.

Blue Man Group was fantastic. Very appropriate for 5 & 9 year 9ld kids, but just as fun for the adults. Theatre is small, but appropriate for the show.

Show was great. The seating how ever is like torture in the balcony... If you weigh more than 100 lbs, and are taller then 5, dont you dare think about sitting in the balcony. The seats are literally for 5 year olds.

I saw Blue Man Group here. It was a cute theater and a great show. It was a fun off Broadway place to see while stay in New York.

The show was good. I was expecting more based on reviews from people I know who have seen it one or more times. We sat in the mezzanine. The leg room was extraordinarily inadequate. We were in the 2nd and 3rd rows on the right side. Its fun and interesting. The guests chosen from the audience to participate seemed like the were actors/plants.

Very intimate and probably the best place theater to watch blueman group. Due to the design of the theater this led to a very interactive experience. Actors were able to engage the audience in a very unique way which would never have been possible in a large seated environment. I would highly recommend this location for blueman group or even a play.

The blue man group staff at Astor Place Theater are amazing. The customer service and professionalism of their staff is exemplary. Amanda, Latrisha and Martha went above and beyond in creating a memorable experience for my nephew. We havent even attended our show yet but based on my experience thus far with the Blue Man Group staff, I felt like I needed to post a 5 star review. Of course I will be adding to this review after the show!

The Blue Man Group is here. They are very entertaining. Whether you have a 5 year old or an 80 year old, itching for an evening/afternoon of fun, laughs and that gooey feeling, this is the show for you. The theatre is nice and cozy.

I have fond memories of seeing Blue Man Group as a teen, and taking my 8-yr-old daughter brought them flooding back. She loved the show, as did I. Theater is quite narrow, so feels like a very intimate show - we had a great view from the front of the mezzanine. Note that this show is quite interactive - 3 different audience members took part in the performance at various points. One nostalgic note: bring back KLF! Finale music was weak in comparison.

The blueman group show was very good, however as a taller person I have to agree that the chairs are quite cramped. Still overall a good time.

Blue man group is one of my all time favorites. I bring 150 middle school kids to NYC Every year to enjoy them. This theater is strictly theirs. The seats are old, and tight, and close, but the experience is fantastic. Bring your student ID and buy just before show time and the tickets are less than $50. Front row if they have it.

I hadnt seen Blue Man group in 28 years. It was still brilliant. I remembered some of the classic bits, but they are now making great use of technology. Go! Dont wait 28 years. Though the show will probably still be running.

Small theater dedicated to Blue Man Group. Id say its intimate, but its not that as much as it is focused and comfortable. Blue Man Group is a lot of fun, great music and visuals. Those guys make sure everyone is having a great time. A lot of audience interaction and role play. Good show for all ages, all languages. I sat in the back and actually couldnt see what was going on with the musicians in the upper right.

Went to see the Blue man group, the show was awesome. Theater is small but cozy. If you go, get there early so you can use the bathroom...theres only one each and the line gets long.

No bad seats. A very nice intimate setting to see shows. This place specializes in smaller less main stream productions. I saw blue man group here, a little more mainstream of a production, and was very impressed.

The Blue Man group is a great show. It is worth taking the time to see. It is certainly family friendly and my teenagers enjoyed the show as well.

Went here for Blue Man Group and had a phenomenal time! All the seats on the mezzanine have a great view of the stage (we started at the very back and got moved to the front).Theres an orchestra view from above, and the place is quite clean.Box office is inside once you enter down the stairs to pick up your tickets or purchase them. Once you go downstairs, reception is limited.

Blue man group were excellent. Some of the show is getting a bit dated now but the performance is sensational.

If you havent seen the Blue Man Group what are you waiting for! We had a great time watching this unique show. Make sure you eat ahead of time because they only sell pricey snacks there. Why 4 Stars? We paid for the expensive front seats, put on the ponchos that were on the seats (see photos) and nothing! They sprayed the right side front row crowd, but neglected us! In other words, we paid up and got nothing. Overall it was a good experience.

Nice theater! Saw the Blue Man Group here and the theater was nicely designed for their show and a decent sized audience. The tickets we got were about $80 but the show was worth it. The place was well air conditioned and the staff was somewhat pleasant when helping you get to your seat. I definitely would see the show again!

The theater itself was nice and small. The mezzanine, in which we were seated, packed us in very tightly. Staff was friendly and the show was organized. Blueman group was fun to watch. I didnt know it was more performance art than drumming; now you know. Audience participation was encouraged and the bluemen even visited us in the mezzanine.

My rating is for Blue Man Group performance. The Security man was very nice and helpful. The lady working at the ticket window was kind and patient while I located confirmation e-mails. The other staff looked happy and attended to everyone with good attitudes.The actual Blue Man Group performance was just fantastic. I did not look in advance as to what Id expect to see, so I was very surprised at it all. Well worth our money spent.

Went to see the Blue Man group here. It was amazing! I love the size of the theater, makes everything look and feel just a little more personal. Its not cramped so everyone can sit comfortably. The group came out later to take pictures and the crew was very organized and there was no pushing or shoving to get pictures taken. Nice and orderly, just the way I like it.

Went to see the Blue Men Group. Show was A+ and the staff even more so. My sister in law dropped off my great neice to join us and when she was about to leave the staff offered her a free pass to join us. We felt so special. It is easy to see why this show is always sold out. The venue is also cooled very well.

Very small theater. If you are a tall person you will not be comfortable as there is zero leg room. I booked an isle seat for us since my man is 63 and the isle seat did not help at all. I am 57 and my knees were touching the seat in front of me. Blue Man group was a lot of fun.
