The theater was great. I came here to see Cats and our seat view were great despite we were in the far left. I recommend this theater for anyone who is thinking on coming here in a near or far future. The decor and ambience was phenomenal. There are restrooms on both sides of the theater for disabled guests with plenty of room and handles. Overall this theater despite being smaller than most theaters in the area, it definitely stands out.

Watched the Cher show at the theater. We had front mezzanine center seats in second row and the view was excellent. The show was very entertaining with my favorite bits being the black magic performance and believe. The lights were bright and highlighted the stage and performers well. The seats seems to have been updated and the velvet was plush and nice.

Typical old-fashioned Broadway theater, have not been renovated probably in a long time. Tight seats, especially if you are seating next to a big person. Physically disable and old people had really hard time accessing the mezzanine area. The incline of the mezzanine is very steep which is great for viewing but a bit difficult for getting up and down the stairs. There are shopping areas but no bathrooms at the mezzanine level. The Cher show delighted everyone with familiar music and spectacular costumes.

This theatre is one of the older- smaller seats, and small bathrooms. But it is BEAUTIFUL. Gold leaf designs on the ceilings and walls, a gorgeous motif over the balcony...its fantastic! We went and saw Cats- what a performance! My fiance and I had so much fun! Ive been to many theatres, and this is definitely one of the most beautiful.

Enjoyed the theater. From other reviews, I heard the seats were small. Im muscular 60 and 265lbs. No problem for me. People seem to forget that people were thinner back in the 1920s and 30s when these theaters were made. Saw The Illusionists there and I was 2nd row mezzanine. I could see the stage very well.

Go see Cats before they leave Broadway! We just saw Cats at this theatre and it was a great experience. We showed up 15 minutes before the show, so the lines were short. Every seat seems to have a good view of the stage. There is a water cooler in the bathroom, so there is no need to buy an overpriced water from the bar :) The public was allowed on stage at the intermission, but dont miss your opportunity as its only open for about 10 minutes. The only complaint is that the theatre was full of tourists who did not pay attention to the cellphone rules. Some were texting and taking sneaky photos, others had the phones ringing during the show. Come on people!

What a terrific space for The Cher Show. I dont think there is a bad seat in the house. The ushers were friendly and helpful, concessions plentiful and priced as expected for Broadway. The show was fantastic with a talented cast, incredible costuming, strong singing, and loads of songs and laughs.

Class & elegance personified. The Neil Simon Theatre is a cut ABOVE the rest, and given the company in which they keep, BROADWAY, that is no easy task. There isnt a bad seat in the house. 1440+ capacity, ZERO nosebleeds!Nice. The Ushers are lovely. Accommodating, helpful, friendly...a true theatre experience. The line to enter was wayyyy down 52nd, yet everyone was in & seated by curtain call at 8:00 p.m. (or, maybe a few minutes after!)Curtain down, the Ushers allowed patrons time to use the facilities, get their winter gear on and exit at their leisure! Lovely theatre, lovely people, great show...even better Broadway experience! Thank you for keeping the Magic alive!

We had a great experience seeing Cats at the Neil Simon Theatre. There was a line spanning the whole block to enter the theater half an hour before showtime, but the line moved very quickly and there was no line to get in closer to showtime, so its not necessary to wait to get in if you dont want to.The orchestra section seats are close to the stage with a good view and enough legroom. If you have a tall person in front of you , you may have some view obstruction. The sightline from right center orchestra row K was good even though it seemed far off center on the seating chart. The staff was helpful and friendly. We got to go up on stage during intermission to take pictures near one of the main characters. The bathroom was clean and accessible.I will definitely return to this theater to see another show in the future.

I came here on 1/22/19 to see The Cher Show. What a fantastic show in a very nice venue. The theaters orchestra section had a great view no matter the seat. I was in the center, row P and I could see the whole stage with no problems. The seats are just a tad tight as folks got bigger but the seats didnt. Elbow space was a luxury if your seat mate doesnt share. For this show, there were no balcony seats available, not sure if it was on purpose or it was closed. As for the show itself, they offered a prompter for the hearing impaired just to the left of the stage. . This you could read what they were saying. Very cool and it didnt distract you from the stage. The set was beautiful for this show and simple but told the story well. Go see The Cher Show for the music and the costumes. Loved it.

Provided a very nice, intimate setting to see Cats. I sat in the cheapest seats in the house, and was still able to see the faces of every cast member. Illusionist show was great! Organization for tickets, lines, and getting in was an absolute mess. Individuals purchased tickets online which you could not print from home. Upon arrival, we were told we would have to wait in a group of over 300+ people to print tickets from the box office. This scenario was extremely dangerous and resulted in heightened emotions among patrons. Very poor planning on the part of the theater. Also, seats inside theater are extremely cramped! I am an average size person and I felt very claustrophobic!

Its sad to say that I loved The Cher Show so much that I would opt to see it again but because of the inadequacies of the theater its not even an option. This is possibly the most cramped theater I have ever been too. On top of that if your disabled they are not equipped to accommodate you. There were a few people with walkers that they lined up on a back wall where about 4 walkers fit. They through a ticket stub on the walker but in reality anyone was able to walk off with it as my friend did without being asked any questions. There is no way to go to the refreshments or merchandise for sale as that is downstairs, and you also wouldnt be able to buy seats for the mezzanine. While there is a bathroom to accommodate disabled people on the main floor everyone jumps on the line (not disabled people) making it difficult if not impossible to use. Needless to say I was not impressed with the theater and have had really good experiences at most other theaters. When I went to see Beautiful the theater was comfortable and the staff really were helpful. Not so at the Neil Simon theater. But if you dont mind being squeezed in like sardines then go. You will love the Cher Show.

I love going to the theatre so I dont avoid a play because of the space. If one is disabled its a problem since most Broadway houses dont have elevators. The performance space itself is typical old Broadway theatre house. Good thing is that there are more than a few womens room stalls. The setup is lousy though since the bathroom lines snake right past the staircases & next to the bar area & clog everything up. Frustrating. Just a bad set up. And the steps are very steep.

Set in the mezzanine in about row H which is a really good place to sit because you are in front of a walkway so there is nobody in front of you. The pitch of the mezzanine section here is quite steep and looked difficult for older people... however there are some railings to assist you. The space in front of you is quite small for your legs so tall people might have some difficulty.
