We watched the show Les Miserables and it was great. Great playing, great singing. The scene was wonderful, a really great venue for shows and musicals. The Imperial Theatre is very beautiful. The seats are nicely arranged and you have a nice view of the stage from all sides or rows.

We saw Aint too Proud and thoroughly enjoyed it. The seats were comfortable and the production was wonderful. We thought the music was done very well and the acting and singing were top notch! The staging was clever but not complex. The restrooms were upstairs and a bit overwhelmed at intermission as is usual. Seating was quick and efficient. We did not order any drinks here. Highly recommend this show and this theater!

My husband and I saw the Aint too proud (Temptations) musical! The show was AWESOME! The entire cast was amazing and so were their voices! The theater is kind of small so EVERY seat has a great view! We sat Mezz Rear, Row G, seat 11 & 12! There were 2 downsides: trying to use the restroom at intermission ...the womens restroom line was RIDICULOUS! I ended up waiting until after the show to use it! AND my husband is 63, his legs were cramped and he had an aisle seat! **Go see the show**

Aint too proud was amazing!! Loved it from beginning to end. Motown era was phenomenal. I was born in the late 70s but was raised to appreciate music from that Era. I am an old soul. I couldnt stop tapping my foot or complimenting every single performer to my husband. Very nice theater. I almost had enough room in the orchestra seats. The show was very cheesy but if youre a big Ruben & Clay fan youre going to love the Christmas songs, corny jokes, minimal staging, and limited singing talents of both stars. The five additional singers and theater performers were, in my humble opinion, much more talented. My only real complaint was the fact that they opened the doors to the street to assist in exiting the 1,400 seat theater which wasnt necessary since they had lest than 700 inside. I will say it was only the second night of a three week engagement but I did expect more stage presence from both considering theyve been doing this for 15 years.

Attended a preview of Carousel (beautiful revival) the other night and was seriously impressed with the new policies at the Imperial. The ushers and signage really made it clear that late seating would not be permitted, and not one person in the orchestra disrupted the performance. The bar no longer serves ice with drinks because of the noise as well. I was really able to focus on the production and I thank the staff for that. The only downside of the Imperial is the womens bathroom situation, but I feel like that is an unfortunate standard of Broadway houses.

Inter-mission to say the least. Im guessing due to the theaters historical feel they cannot change much of the facility idk. The bathroom situation was a total mess! They herded us in winding lines to the venues basement level making us think there were extra restrooms only to put us in an infinite line to come back upstairs. The lobby was shoulder to shoulder for drinks but security and it being an older crowd I think is what maintained everyone under control. Overall a nice experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show and the little known story of The Temptations. I was disappointed in the audience, though. My group was basically told to be quiet because people were complaining about us clapping too loud, shouting too much, and singing too much. This is a jukebox musical and I think that the actors expect for the audience to sing along with them because many of these songs we sang along with on the radio. Lighten up, people and let others enjoy their memories.

Originally we were headed to a comedy club and changed it up before we left to NYC and added a second Broadway show. Obviously this is about the Temptations however I didn’t give it much thought on how the story was going to be told. We saw that it won a Tony award for Best Choreography. From the moment the curtain went up we were treated to dancing and singing. Never a dull moment, the full story was unfolded in a very entertaining fashion. Not gonna say more as to not to play spoiler. (pun intended) If your a fan of the Motown era you won’t be disappointed! Add it to your list of must see shows.

While the show that I saw (Aint Too Proud - The Life and Times of The Temptations) was quite good, this review is for the theater itself. The logistics of entering and exiting were chaotic even by the standards of Broadway, and the interior of the theater was nothing that special. That said, the seating even in the far left rear mezzanine was better than I expected, and the seats were more comfortable than others Ive been in, so I would say the theater is about average for Broadway.
