This is a great movie house. They renovated the seating. The chairs recline and lift you feet up at about a 45 degree angle. Also have back warmers with a touch of a button on the side of the arm rest. Each chair also has a little table for your candy or popcorn. Loved watching the movie there.

Great AMC location in the Flatiron district of NYC. The staff is generally friendly and the facilities are generally clean.There’s only six screens here, but they often have the newest releases and participate in the discounted Tuesdays (though the price is higher in NYC).Not the largest or nicest AMC in the city, but definitely a solid location to visit.

Such a nice clean cozy theater to take your kids to. The seats recline back comfortably enough to enjoy the movie in peace. If youre smart youll purchase tickets through Groupon for the first viewing of the day which tends to be early but less people you have to deal with and the more intimate the feel.

A newly renovated theater and its looking really well. They have little moveable trays where you can put your stuff. The new theaters are pretty small thought and can fit about 50/60 people max. While I wouldnt aim to come here for a big fancy movie premiere its really nice for a casual movie viewing or for the $5 Tuesdays

I havent been to an AMC theater in years! I am used to stadium seating. I didnt know that the theaters had a well needed makeover. Until now, I thought ipic and Alamo were the only theaters with comfort. Im glad that the seats dont recline too far back or id fall asleep and miss the movie!

Oh how very fancy you feel when you are watching a movie in those fancy fancy recliners with heated butt! The theaters seem like livingrooms with these chairs. Book early enough so that you can sit with your friends. Like many movie palaces, the concessions are expensive - so this place is no different from any where else. ***Bathroom on lower didnt feel clean - but it wasnt gross, either - it was getting a lot of use and lines werent long.

I’m tempted to call this a luxury theatre compared to what your typical movie theatre experience would be. The theaters are spacious and the seats are comfy, spaced in such a fashion that every seat is a good seat. The food options are unique and high quality, even priced fair for a movie theater. Best place to watch movies!

I was really torn between 3 & 4 stars here. Theres nothing really wrong with the place - it just feels a little weird. Bar is in an awkward place, food is in an awkward place. They have tables at the chairs and theyre awkward. Our theater was a little dirty from the previous patrons. My chair recliner was broken just enough to be uncomfortable. Staff was nice and trying hard - really felt like AMC was trying to capture the alamo drafthouse charm and just coming up a little short.

Staff were not the most helpful. Ticket checkers did not let me through immediately because I was 2 minutes late to a movie and they wanted to check that I knew i was late. Also, terrible customers. One lady held up the ticket checker and two others would not stop talking through the movie. The overall experience of the movie theater itself is alright but order online amd hope others are courteous.

Love. Love. Love this movie theater! Heated reclining seats, very kind and helpful staff, and their drink machine actually tastes like the soda its serving, not straight sugar!!! New favorite. Will be returning for all my future date nights and encourage everyone else to as well!

The sound quality and picture quality of the movie we went to was good here. Weve been to this theater a few times before and have enjoyed it. No complaints.Oh and the seats recline partially and are heated...if youre into that sort of thing.

First things first this movie theater was pretty clean. Which, surprisingly, isn’t the most common thing. Its a convenient location, comfortable seating, and the bathroom was easy in and out. The negative is that it cost about $33 for two people to see the movie... just for the tickets. If you get soda and popcorn this turns into a $60 movie real fast. The workers there were nice so you take the good with the bad right? Plus, it’s Manhattan so everything is expensive.

Not worth my money. This movie theater is expensive for the size of the screen, does not feel like a movie theater at all. I would rather rent a movie at home. I am only giving it two stars because it was clean and it had good customer service. If you like the real movie experience with huge screen and amazing sound consider going to another theater.

The lobby area is pretty small but the theater itself is huge. It doesnt have the super large recliners like some other AMCs but the recliners are comfy. The screen quality and sound was perfect. The BEST part is.... Location! Its in the 14th St Union Square area. Theres so much to do before or after your movie.

Easy commute from Brooklyn to this cinema, a huge plus. Super nice staff. Ultra comfy large seats and the arms move for couples. Great sound, crystal clear picture. Ive been to a movie during the day, at night, weekdays and weekends - consistently a good place to see a movie.

The staff is great! The lobby bar is a great new addition. The recliner seats are awesome. Great spot for a date night or just fun time with friends!

The renovations are lovely so far. Even though it was a warm day I tried the heat. My lower back was happy. After carrying bags it felt good. It shut off on its own so no worries. Next time Ill try the bar.

My wife and I are AMC A-List members so we see a lot of movies in various locations and unfortunately this was the worst theater experience weve had in NYC!The staff was great, the theater itself was very disappointing. We could clearly hear other movies playing while we watched ours. We could also hear the underground trains ROARING by beneath us, we almost thought we were in a Dolby theater. Combined it was very distracting, we will not be returning to this location.

This was my first time at this theater but it will not be my last.the seating was so nice not only do they have reclining seats but they have a heater in the seats as well that you control,perfect if you go on a cold day.the theater was very neat and clean and besides a concession stand they also have a bar there.they have renovation going on there but even with that it was a nice place to go visit and close by the subway too.

I love the recycling seats in this theater. They are heated as well which is great in the winter. If your there with your significant other you can lift up the middle arm rest so you can be closer together. There are little tables with cup holders that swivel and make it easy to get to your munchies. The theater is setup like a stadium so viewing angles are great from nearly any seat. Theres also plenty of leg room compared to other theaters. If you have the AMC app on your phone you can pick your seats on a chart and just show them your phone on arrival which makes for a seamless check in. Movies are only $5 on Tuesday for normal format shows or $9 for digital 3D.

Theater 2 has really nice heated seat. Restroom doesnt smell. But escalator is being service. Also, there is a bar there.

Do not - get cocktails here. The theater itself is really nice , newly updated and renovated the recliner chairs have heating pads which is awesome but the bar left little to be desired. I ordered margaritas in strawberry and mango flavors and they tasted like fruit slushy. I dont honestly think they had a lick of liqour in them. So save your money and get cocktails after the movie.

Recently renovated. Two levels. Theaters 1-3 and concession on main floor. Restrooms, theaters 4-6, and a Coke Freestyle station (no slushies) on lower level. Grey leather recliner seats at this location different from customary AMC & Regal leather recliners - these are narrower and have attached trays w/cup holders. In recline position, the chair feels more like a chaise lounge chair, which I like b/c its less pressure on lumbar. The seat-warmer is a really nice addition. No phone service in theater 5. Very friendly service from Coray? and other staff. Far commute, but worth a revisit.

Intimate little theater. however, the seats dont recline all the way and the staff is very unorganized at times. Anybody can walk in or bring in food due to lack of bag checks and ticket checks. Its also very easy to sneak into other movies as well. Mind you, this is newly renovated so not everything is put together quite yet. Overall the auditoriums are clean and there is an occasional low rumble from the passing trains since the bottom floor is underground.

Nice AMC theater in the Gramercy Park area.The theater even has a in house bar across from the concession stand.

For a small boutique experience at a movie theater check out AMC Loews 19th Street Theater. Its big enough to fit hundreds of people but small enough to make you feel like youre in a cozy spot. *Pro tip* make sure to check out Tuesday nights they have $5 movie Nights on Tuesdays I believe. The lines can get long so make sure you have one person buying tickets while the other person is getting popcorn and drinks

Good theater near Madison park. Not huge, but they have comfy, reclining seats. They dont go back as far as seats in some of the other movie houses Ive been to, but they do have a heater in them!Also, the theater has a full bar!Oh, and the bathroom is kinda tiny. Enough room to do what you need to do, but expect it to be packed right after your film gets out!

I have never saw a movie theater like this. There was a bar and the seats omg recliner and heated settings and if you bought a lot of like I did there is a rotating table top attached to your chair

Newly renovated theater. One of the best AMC locations in NY. The seats are comfortable and cozy with the heater and reclining function. I do have a few minor issues, but thats just me being extra picky. 1) The heated seats dont recline as far as non reclining ones in other locations 2) the seats are slightly smaller than in other locations 3) if youre watching a movie in one of the lower level cinemas, you can hear and feel the rumbling from the subway trains.

Came with my wife. Went to see the new men in black. Very quiet, not crowded at all. The bartender was really nice as well, cant remember her name. But she was very informative about movies and drinks lol

This particular theater is small but has a bar and hot food you can purchase. I didnt use the bar or concession but the selection looks good.

I still enjoy going to a theatre...but still people talk all the time during movies in a theatre.

Staff was very rude and refused me entry based on the fact that I had in my hands half a cup of unfinished milk tea. What a disgrace. Never had an issue with this in any of the other AMC theaters in Manhattan. As a loyal A-list member, I am very disappointed in this location.

In LA movie theaters are abundant but always crowded. Here is one that shows Korean and Hollywood movies, although the choices are limited. How can you not like a theater that is always clean, has an abundance of parking, and has Korean restaurants right next to it.Why wouldnt you watch a movie here? Oh yea... only if they arent showing what you like.

I like this movie theatre, not too pack and the price are pretty inexpensive. Usually no wait to see a movie but sometimes there a wait. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Food here is expensive so be prepare to pay a little more for food. Overall pretty good theatre and seat are comfortable.

Wow I was confused why the ticket was so expensive and then the seats were leather??? Heated??? With electric motors to lean back and extend the leg rest??? Rotating table tray??? Loved it. I watched the farewell. Decided Ill be getting AMC stubs and will definitely be going back

The theater is fairly new. The movie theaters inside are intimate holding only 60 to 65 people. The chairs recline and have little trays to place food and drink. Plus the seats are optionally self heating. Great experience, 2nd time attending.

Probably one of the nicest movie theaters weve been to in the city. There arent a lot of screens, but it was clean the seats were nice and they had heated seats! Were definitely going to make this or first choice for movies in the city going forward.

Clean theater but no cell service in the floors below. Heated recliners are too hot even at the lowest setting and were burning my back. I had to turn it off.

Pretty small. They only have one kiosk and one register for ticket sales. They were understaffed so the person handling ticket sales was also working concessions. Luckily we arrived about an hour before show time so the 45 minutes it took for us to get tickets and popcorn didnt cut into our movie time. I do like the intimate little theater it was nice and relaxed. They have grey heated seats here that only semi recline so you cant put your feet all the way up. Im not a fan of these seats because I prefer to have my feet raised and not recline the back of my chair. With this seat you have to recline in order for your feet to go up higher. There is a low and high setting on the heat which was great. There is also a try with cup holder which I liked because holding a large popcorn container through a 2 hour movie is annoying. The seats are spaced out enough where your tray wont block the other persons view in the open position so you dont have to keep it in front of you if you dont want it there. These seats are also not as wide as the typical red seats but I didnt experience the accidental button pressing when I shifted around so not a huge deal. I found it much easier to snuggle up to my partner in this seat as well. Some theaters have this awful rail at the balcony seats and Im short so it always distorted my view. This one did not and I was very happy about that. I never thought I would return to this theater because they still had the old seats the last time I went but Im happy to see all of the updates. I like that its not big or over crowded. I probably wouldnt come here with a black ticket again. If you have pre purchased tickets there is nothing to wait for except the concession stand. They definitely need more employees.

Staff is really friendly and the reclining chairs are nice. Since it is in a popular area, it does get crowded often. If you want good seats, it is best to get the tickets in advance and not when you get there.

Not the best AMC. I visited it once and it will be the last one. Too small, they only offer one size of popcorn. Definitely not my favorite theater.

Lots of movies to chose from near Union square stadium seating can reserve your seats. Seats need to be upgraded uncomfortable and squeaky but real clean bathroom .

No one to buy tickets from -- automation was lacking. Individual theatres do not show the movies in them. Bathroom was filthy.

I havent been to this theater in ages, but clearly theyre undergoing renovations. Disregarding that, the inclusion of more comfortable reclining seats is a nice touch.AMC has now implemented levels of participation, like airlines do, for faster lines, better prices, etc. At least they havent done anything to alter the equity of the bathroom situation.Still one of the more decent theaters in the area.

Watched Vice with my wife who left her glasses behind, a week later I went to retrieve them and found them with a note of the date found. I was not only happy about the glasses but in the way the two young ladies took an interest in assisting me, sorry I didnt take down their names. As far as the theater where we watched Vice, it was clean the chair roomy and comfortable, and we will be going back because of the great service, cleanliness and caring environment which is essential to a great movie experience! Thanks for the trifecta, and the glasses being returned!
