Cleanest regal in New York City. Any seat is a great view. Concessions, like a well oiled machine. Should change the bathroom policy, my group was relaxing in the common area after our movie. When we were leaving we decided to use the bathroom. The attendant made us go one at a time because all the bathrooms are beyond the ticket checking area and of course we all already disposed of our tickets.

My favorite theater Ive found so far in NYC. Its easily accessible tight off the Essex stop. I love the theaters themselves. The recliners are extremely comfortable to the point where Ive almost fell asleep once or twice. The staff is good as well. Aside from the snacks. the food is what you would expect from theater food although they do tend to have an array of choices. There is also a bar located on the first and possibly second floor if I remember correctly. I have never sat their myself but it seems to always have patrons on stools. Highly recommend!

New Regal theater adjacent to the new Essex Market in lower Manhattan. It spans 4 floors with a small waiting area on the second floor with seats and tables. Being new, everything is still very clean. The staff is mostly friendly, especially the crew that works the box office. The seats are very comfortable leather recliners with a swiveling table. You choose your seats at the time of ticket purchase.

If you needed another symbol that the LES is exclusively for rich people, this is it. This is one fancy place to see a movie. It’s about $20 a ticket which unfortunately seems to be standard for theaters where you choose your own recliner. That said, it’s nice to have a new movie theater a little closer to home. The staff was very nice and the temperature in the theater was perfect (it’s somehow usually freezing cold or too warm whenever I go to the movies). There’s even a bar and a waiting area by the windows where you can admire Delancey St from the 2nd floor.

My go to movie theater in New York City. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff are all wonderful and very friendly, the place is extraordinarily clean (including the bathrooms), and every theater includes very comfortable recliners. I come here quite often and have never had a bad experience. Highly recommended! (Side note, tickets here are quite expensive, but Im a Regal Unlimited user, which is why I come here so often).

Hmm I thought I wrote something while waiting on the couch at their second floor. Yes couches in a movie theater waiting area. How crazy??!! Then after the movie, I saw a few kids sleeping there. I guess thats the side effects if you leave couches everywhere.This place is the new regal movie center downtown. I love it. Close to my train home and train from work. With M, J, Z and F train, its a perfect location for under serviced neighborhood in Brooklyn and downtown. Beside that, this is only of those theater with the super nice couch in the movie which might cost a few dollar more. Then why would I want to watch a movie in an airplane chair? I do that on my budget airline if I desire.Maybe its the time we arrive, Friday night at 6pm. The line to the popcorn and soda and all the ripoff candies is super short like no wait. We skipped that thou and went straight to the movie. The couch is super nice and reserve seat is a bonus.I am surprised being so close to Chinatown and no one sneaked an order of dumpling into the theater. Challenge accepted!!

I just want to said the staff and the employees are friendly and respectful. The bathrooms are always clean. You get where to seat downstairs or upstairs. The food is so good. I always had to travel to 42nd st. See a movie, but when Regal open last year in April I been here almost every day. Thank you for your services.

It’s a beautiful cinema (views are great!) and very spacious. It’s great to have all the bells and whistles like a small table and reclining etc.. but it’s expensive. $17.50 for an adult - if it was $15 that would be ok...but not that reflective of the communities in the area.Maybe they need to run midday matinees at a cheaper rate as most of the theatres are dead empty during the day.Staff are AMAZING!!!! Genuinely nice and friendly. Makes such a difference (that alone earns the review a ‘star’).

This is my favorite movie theater to come to. Even though it is EXPENSIVE the recliner seats (book online!) and how clean the place is (almost) make up for it. The bar is nice (high prices but thats expected) and the concession stand is around what you would pay at any place in the city. The staff is always very nice too. Because there are recliner seats, it fills up fast so I always buy tickets online before.

First time so far and loved it. Got lucky with parking, service was great, bought sole snacks and everything was explained so thoroughly, felt genuine as well, thank you. Leaps and bounds better than any movie theatre in the area! Everything is nice, new, and looks great. Theaters are a little smaller than the Regal at Union, but every theater has assigned seats so you can book on the app and not have to get there 30 minutes early to get a decent seat.Seats are all automatic leather recliners with space for food!Close to the Essex Crossing market too so you can grab a quick bite to eat beforehand from one of the shops!

Brand new theater has a great look to it. The seats are mechanical recliners that have a swivel tray for your goods. Very comfy but on the chilly side, which is fine for me. I’d rather be chilly than hot in a theater. So if you get cold easily, be sure to have a light sweater with you.

I really enjoyed watching a movie here. You get about a pint and a half of beer for 12 bucks that you can enjoy at your seat. The theater is new. The seats recline. Whats not to like.

Pros: Good location for theater. There are many options for you to do before or after you take in a movie. Theater itself is very clean, comfortable (has nice seating) and has good options on movies and food. Staff was courteous.Cons: Expensive (like all movie theaters). Very hard to find street parking (garages in the area are over priced) . A lot of homeless and vagrants in the neighborhood. NYPD officer was stationed inside the theater (by where you pay for tickets) the few times Ive been to this location.

Great movie theater with attentive staff. The seats here are very comfortable and you can even get a beer from their bar. Most of the theaters are on the smaller side, which is good because it means theres always a good view, even from the front seats.

This movie theatre was dope. It was also the first Regal theater Ive gone to that advertised their new membership-based card to see unlimited movies. we only go to Regal so I was concerned that they didnt have this. But apparently they do and it just wasnt being advertised at the regals we were going to. The seats recline, you have your own tray for food and drink, and the sound was fantastic. Bit pricey especially compared to the cost of an Alamo Drafthouse ticket, but still great nonetheless.

Such a beautiful and clean theatre for your movie going experience. The theaters themselves are spacious and clean. In regard to food, the menu is very diverse for a movie theatre at reasonable (theatre) prices. Overall one of the best movie theaters I’ve been to!

Quality of service was great here. I went there early in the day. The decor gives off futuristic movie theater. Seats reclines and you have the option to pick your seats. Theres also a bar to buy beer. Place is really clean with exceptional customer service.

Me and my 11 year old have tickets for an 11am movie... Its cold outside. They refuse to open the door. It makes no sense. There is a vestibule that CAN be open. The theater itself however seemed to be clean. All the people were very nice and if you live in the neighborhood its super convenient.

Cool theater. Remember when the Metropolitan theater on Fulton Street closed. Everyone in my neighborhood of Carroll Gardens was wondering where we would watch movies. And then this place opened up and made everything right again. The only bad thing about this place has the service is slow and sometimes there are some disturbances in the theater by precise that this place is just fine.

Awesome seats. Very comfortable. Had middle row and middle column seats for the 2 of us, and we loved the experience. Very clean place. We ate nearby beforehand, so didnt need anything there. Friendly staff too. Will go again if Im in that area with a friend.

Been coming to this location since they opened. The staff is always courteous and friendly. I like that now they moved the staff that takes your tickets closer to when you first reach your floor because getting food before they take tickets can be a mess if you are buying snacks and dont have help. The theaters are nice and cool not too cold for warm days like today. My seat today had some crumbs on it and I had to clean before sitting but overall the seats are always clean. Nice to have a theater close by so I dont have travel so far anymore or rush

Great experience, clean and still smells like new. Food is actually very decent considering it is a movie theater. I had a spicy chicken sandwich with fries and it was good. I just wish there is a small version of the small soda. The small for me is consired the big version in any other place. Maybe the can call ot extra small

Finally a movie Theater Experience that is worth the money. I’ll NEVER go back to any other theaters.. Especially Linden Multiplex. Save your money and go to Regal Essex!! The staff is friendly, the food selection is great/ popcorn delicious,. The seats are amazing and the screens are absolutely the BEST. Go sit back and relax and enjoy your favorite movie.

Is it just me or is it not normal for a movie screen to be blank 30min past the start time? For a hot second I thought Disney’s Aladdin might be so avant-garde that I just didn’t get it but then I realized the screen is just off! What the heck! Pretty strange behavior for a theater if you ask me. Not sure I’d recommend seeing a movie here unless you like being in the environment of a theater but with all the lights on and no movie.

The place I meant to write about is the Essex food market at Essex and delancey streets. I still stand by my statement I made previously it is a good place roomy good coffee and good food. But like I said as large as it. Is the tables usually are occupied by people who dont have consideration enough to sit at the large tables that are meant for them who are alone and working on thier computers. Leave the two seat tables to couples

Regal is a super cool and a great addition to the Essex Crossing development. Also it has a bar! Order the Essex Crossing Dragon at the bar. The theater shows all the latest films and is overall a great spot, right above Essex Market and The Market line.

One of my favorite movie theaters. Great stadium seating with recliner seats. Typical high prices in snacks and ticket prices but worth it.

This is a really great theater. It was clean n the food was delicious. I saw Anna there and the crowd was good. I like the free refill on the large popcorn. The seats were the best. staff was very friendly n helpful. I cant wait to come and see more shows there. It is a really well design place.

My new favorite movie theater. Its brand spanking new. There is also a bar area (not big but enough room to sit if it is not crowded) you can also take your drink to your assigned movie seat. The cashiers there are alllll slow so give yourself enough time before your movie starts. Also its accessible via the trains .. F, M, J also the m14A, m9, m15, and b39.

Never had a cinema experience like this new theater. There are fewer than ten rows of seats, all recliners, all soft and cushy. The slope ensures tall folks arent blocking ones view. Granted, the first row or two are insanely close to the gargantuan screen, but, you know, reserve your seats earlier I suppose. Sound for The Rise of Skywalker was stellar! And even the annoying people who cant stay seated for two hours werent too much trouble to let out, given the immense legroom in each row.The concession stand has the standard price insanity, but the popcorn was fresh, and theyll gladly have a heavy hand on the butter dispenser if so desired. Location is great too, as its effectively attached to the Essex Market/Market Line for before- or after-movie enjoyment.

Excellent facility and fantastic location makes this a perfect option for watching movies on the big screen. This movie theatre has the appeal of theatre that reside in upper to midtown Manhattan. The facility in general has a high end feel throughout but the actually screening rooms are plush and make you feel as if they are premium in every manner with comfortable reclining seats. The food options here are nicely organized as well. I ordered the pizza which came with a side of waffle fries.

I was coming here to write a review about poor treatment but as I read, I see I shouldnt take the managers attitude personally.I wanted to take a look around to see why the ticket price was $20, I asked to see inside one of the theaters.The manager said no for safety reasons. I thought I could understand that, but it was 3:30pm and no movies were playing.This theater is in the middle of the lower East side projects, and I can only imagine why they would plop down a bunch affluent white people around poor people.I can only imagine how entitled and abusive these people must act towards the people of color in this neighborhood.

But I went to see Black and Blue it was hot. Must c movie. I recommended you go to this movie threatre. I will give it a 10 star

It drives me crazy that they check bags here. This is the only movie theater chain (Regal) that still checks bags in NYC. If you dont want people to sneak snacks in, have better snacks at competitive prices. I didnt even have anything in my bag but its just annoying, I dont go to the movies to be treated like a prisoner. Otherwise its a regular theater with recliners and the standard overpriced popcorn/candy/soda concessionaire type food. They should take a cue from Alamo and actually have decent food that is relatively worth the money available.

Nice seats even in the standard theater. This place is often less packed than the midtown theaters if you hate watching movies with too many people around as I do. Concessions are serviceable and the attendants seem to care more about helping you unlike sheepshead bay location where they always seem like they cant be bothered to help you at the counter.

Comfortable seats. Terrible bar and rude staff though. If you want to order a drink, you miss much of the movie. And you cant order 2 drinks for you and a friend...BOTH of you must miss part of the movie. Its no wonder why places like Nitehawk and Alamo Drafthouse are so popular.

Saw 1917 here, amazing film, the theatre has several levels. There are escalators to all of them. Screen and seating is vast and the chairs go into lounge mode

Came in the movie theater and took the escalator I was trying to by some popcorn but got stopped by a worker that ask me do i have my ticket and told them yes is there a problem Im just getting popcorn. She said no but why is there a question asked if you are just getting popcorn and have to go upstairs to get ticket checked. So I defused the situation and sat in my seat and security came next to the door and was watching me for a few minutes and soon as i saw him watching me he left. But everything else was good besides the treatment from the worker and security.

Still new and still clean. Just that when watching movies there... you smell the kitchen cooking sometimes. Kinda weird smelling food being cooked while in a theater

Theater all in all was nice. But on Monday night, while waiting for a friend to meet us in the *empty* downstairs lobby, a security guard comes over to my friend and me to tell us we couldnt stand against the one wall because thats where security stands. She tells us to move to the other side. Fine; we do. A minute later, she comes over to tell us that we couldnt stand there *either* and that we should go upstairs instead. It was odd because neither time were we blocking a door or a passage, it was a not-busy Monday evening, and we had followed her original directions. I think the theater needs to be clear with its employees about what its policy is on waiting (which I guess is a thing) so that customers arent made to feel like theyre trespassers. Wasnt really a welcoming atmosphere. But like I said, the actual movie-watching experience was nice.

This is a REALLY NICE theater!! The RPX experience was exceptional! The staff were very courteous, helpful and engaging. Got the opportunity to watch John Wick 3 and the sound effects were so good, you could feel the impact of the gunshots through the seats!!! Highly recommend this theatre experience!!

I love this new Regal theater location. I found it opened about a month ago. Ive already visited twice in one week. The staff very friendly from the ticket takers, concession stands and even security. The reclining seats and great tasting popcorn is a plus. The train station 500 feet from the theater. This is my new favorite spot next to Regal Battery Park. Cant wait to return back

Its cool looking. Very nice Theatre. The staff are all friendly. The food is great (try the street tacos!). The picture is amazing in the auditoriums. All State of the art laser projectors. Both floors with auditoriums have concession stands. The area is pretty nice as well. Looking forward to seeing more films there

Beautiful building, great lounge, and great comfortable adjustable seats so you can literally may back and enjoy movies on the big screen. Show some friends or a date a good time. Also great locations, just off the subway, you can eat dinner before hand and go or even after if your night isnt done.

My favorite Regal Theatre in NYC. maybe its because i can walk across the street and there it is- the staff is always courteous and extra kind. ive never experienced such good service and care of the customers.beer and ciders on tap, order a drink or something off of their hot food menu. everything ive experienced here has been a good time. the leather lounge couches/chairs are great to wait around or chat with your friends before the movie.

Regal is obviously the best. Super clean, pretty good view, seats are ALWAYS comfortable. If its not Regal then I dont want it

Great addition to LES. It and Essex market are making Delancey Street into a desirable neighborhood. Forget Hudson Yards. This is the exciting new area in NYC.

Recliners recliners recliners! And you dont have to go uptown to experience comfortable movie watching. But be careful you may snooze while watching movie. And you cant beat the trays attached to your seat for easy munchin!

Staff including Managers regularly violate the Americans With Disability Act. They harass people with service animals asking for ID and documentation, saying they need vests (completely false), and ask whats wrong with a person that they need a dog. Further, they are completely inept when it comes to knowledge of the Regal app. They note they are not required to know how to use it. They also do not know their customer base as repeat clients are asked to show the app multiples times. The Manager accepts absolutely no responsibility for how poorly the establishment is run and never apologizes for the ride behavior. I have asked multiple times for corporate contact information or the Head Manager contact and the evening Manager dodges and does not provide. Further, some of the security, not all, are very aggressive. Additionally, the snack bar is regularly out of one thing or another. My last three nights of entertainment and relaxation have been completely ruined and my anxiety and blood pressure have been through the roof due in part to a total lack of human kindness, caring, and regard.

I live in the neighborhood and am so glad they have a nice theater. It was very quick and efficient to get tickets and the concession line went very quickly. Chairs are recliner and comfy just the way I like. Everything is clean and new for now. Also they have an area if you want to get real food and drinks. Nice place.

Good theater. Like all theaters food is pricey but what isnt. They should provide 3D glasses at the entrance to the cinema vs when you check in. Had to go back to get them.

Real clean. Accessible location. Comfortable seating. Haven’t tried the food and don’t plan on it. When I asked for extra butter, the guy filled half the bag, covered it in butter, then filled the rest of the bag and buttered again. Color me impressed. I go here like twice a month now, glad it’s so close to the FMJZ lines.Please play more old movies and do special screenings! Really liked that Tarantino films were going on over the summer.

Terrible customer service!!! The phone system is a trap and offers no help of any kind. I have no choice but go in person and complain about a payment issue. With modern technology I feel disappointed with these limited options. Go seek there competitors at least they wont ruin your date night.

Terrible first row seats. Should be illegal to sell those seats at all let alone ridiculous prices they charge. Watching first row gave me an instant headache practically broke my neck looking up. Watching cats right now and I want to die. So mad they even sell these seats.

I purchased a ticket online for a 9:00am show time about a week in advance. This was cancelled without even a courtesy email being sent. Ive never even heard of a movie being cancelled but apparently Regal Cinemas does this. Since no warning was given, I had already taken the subway to this theater from Brooklyn, only to be told of the cancellation at the door, and was told that they were opening later, so I couldnt even wait inside even though it was cold and raining this morning. I killed time outside until the next showing, which was interrupted at a critical moment in the plot by a fire alarm, and the movie just shut off. Some minutes later they told us this was a false alarm and we waited for the movie to restart. Start to finish just not an enjoyable trip to the movies. Two stars because the seats are decent.

First experience at this theater today. It’s quite big, very clean and well staffed with very nice people who are happy to be there and get you where you need to go. The chairs are comfy but this place doesn’t come close to my usual first choice go-to movie theater, AMC 7 on 3rd ave.I’ll go to this one again just because it’s convenient, but I’ll still show favor to my favorite place mentioned above.

Nice reclining seats with extra room so you dont have to put your seat back for ppl to walk by bar with reasonable prices for drinks not watered down food about the same price at any regular movie theater tickets about the same price as a regular movie theater

Very comfortable recliners, plenty of seating to wait for your movie start and old movie theater candy counter and popcorn machine. Great surround sound that shakes your seat, making an action movie more enjoyable. A great new neighborhood addition.

Ive gone to plenty of regal movie theaters and this was one of the most nice and remodeled one. But my seat the electronics were not working, everyone was reclining while i was on this stiff chair. When i told the workers he was like oh okay well look into it. Like as if i didnt pay to sit comfortable. Worse experience. I would avoid this particular movie theater and go to the one on 42nd or 14th st in Manhattan.

My family loves regal! This is an amazing place, we have gone 3 times so far! You should really go here! A little pricy but there’s food trays they even have churros!!!! I was so surprised by there menu! Also they seats have a button and you can lay down or sit up up up! Please go here!

This place just opened a couple of weeks ago and it shows. Clean, new facilities, and comfortable recliners truly add to the movie going experience. My wife and I went there to see Avengers Endgame and, though it is an action packed movie, my wife almost fell asleep the recliners are so comfortable. Will be back this week to see another movie. I guess I will be falling asleep this time.

This was my 1st time at this movie theater and i was very impressed with the Awesome customer Service by the morning Staff! From the ticket stand to the concession stand! They make sure through out the day that the theater is clean and I love that! Edgar made us feel very welcome and would def go again!

Pretty cool. The theater itself looks futuristic. Saw Godzilla and Once Upon a Time In Hollywood and the screen looks fantastic. The black levels are almost on par with OLED TVs. The seats also recline and have a movable food tray.
