A very nice movie house! The service was great and the staff is very professional and super friendly. The seats are very comfortable if you want to sit down and be served. This is the place for you if you want to relax. This wasnt my first time visiting here, and it will definitely not my last.

The food was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our experience watching Parasite. Im not sure about Parasite being the best movie of the year.

Really great experience. Tickets arent cheap but the theatre itself had very comfy seats. Being able to reserve them is nice-- though Atom app may have double booked with their system. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Happily would return in the future (especially once front renovation is complete)

I really enjoyed coming here for a matinee showing. It was relaxing, the staff was nice. The seating was comfortable and the theater was clean. The popcorn was fresh and yummy. I like that the seat has the seat # on it in large font instead of the arm rest. I cant wait to go back!

Wonderful fancy movie theater. The popcorn is amazing. The seats are fantastic. The movie selection is great, mostly independent and foreign. This place is right up there with the Metrograph, IFC, and the Angelika. You will not be disappointed. They dont have a full bar yet, but when they do this theater will be truly complete.

This theater is amazing!! Its almost like being at home. Pretty soon they we be serving alcoholic beverages at the bar.

They have a nice front lobby to wait at with little tables and comfortable couches. I believe they serve alcohol here so I’m sure that’s a plus for some people. This theater feels old school, I mean it definitely is not but it has a charm to it larger theaters have lost. Also not super crowded on the weekends.

Comfy leather reclining seats in a well located spot in Manhattan.Cinepolis Chelsea is our favourite spot for a cinematic experience. The cinema rooms are not so huge that you feel lost in a theatre, but the screens are still normal cinematic size.Great variety of food and drinks available on all levels of the cinema (there are 3 levels and circa 9 cinemas).They have recently upgraded the seats so you get a fully reclined leather seat with a decent sized pivot table for each seat. The staff will bring you food to your seat also.If you have corporate benefits with Plum Benefits you can get tickets for about 30% off the top line price.

I really like Cinépolis, and the one in Chelsea is good. Open, clean and cool movie theater. When our film didnt turn out to be as entertaining as we hoped for, we were pleased with our amazing chairs and that we got to relax in them for a moment. The popcorn wasnt the best Ive had, only finished half of it.

Amazing cinema, best sofas/arm chairs, super comfortable and cozy. Ticket prices arent cheap but if you have some time so spare its a great opportunity. Enjoy :)

Before I start with pricing for the food, the theaters are great. Comfortable and great quality of sound and picture. I am trying to come here at least once a month to watch a move and regardless of the movies being not that great recent years, the movie cinema is always good.

Also carries typical movie theater fare, popcorn, candy, soda, etc.Staff: Polite and helpfulSeats: Reservations available, RECLINING (always working in my experience) and comfortable seats that come with a pullout table for eating. Table can get a little awkward as it does not fold down.Overall: I recommend this theater!

This theater has comfortable seats,fancy food .and a great film selection. Sadly heat is no longer functional. The screening space, restroom and common space was notheated. In an u related matter the security denied egress to a handicapped woman. So if you go, in the winter , bring blankets and don’t be handicapped . Be Aware No Heat

Man this place is fancy, loving the reclining chairs major! So happy Id got to see the Joker movie here the other night. Couldnt think of a better place though. Gotta come to this place, so worth the extra coin if you know what I mean.

Good theatre. Can reserve seats. Big theaters, big screens, good sound. Seats are comfortable. You sit low and look high. If youre short, it might be an issue to have people right in front of you. Chairs are tall, though, so you have to be pretty tall for your head to show above the chair.

It’s a beautiful theater with great food service but they have a huge mouse issue. Went to see the joker last night, in screen 6 and the whole time there are mice darting back and forth and jumping out of a poorly covered hole in the wall. Left the theater hoping to speak to someone and let them know exactly where the mice are coming in from but no one was insight. Nonetheless I won’t be back.

All reserved seating, all reclining seats. This is how I’d like to see all movie theaters evolve over the next couple years. Buy your ticket a day in advance and you can get the best seats in the house.

THIS IS MY GO TO THEATRE. Seats are SUPER COMFORTABLE and the staff are ALWAYS VERY FRIENDLY. There are plenty of theatres to choose from however, is THIS ONE FAR ABOVE THE REST.

Any movie theater thats still around and kicking these days is doing something right. Cinepolis Chelsea keeps on updating its menu offerings, and has nice and comfy recliners for a great movie-going experience. And no, I wasnt the guy you saw crying during Star Wars. That was someone else...

At first it seems like a nice theater. But then you get a snack and realize that airport prices are a bargain. A couple of waters, one pop corn and one box of candy was almost $50! And to make sure you never bring in your own food or water they have two layers of security. The guy checking every bag and jacket and then the security guard watching the security guard. Just to make sure not a singe ounce of water gets through. Needless to say this makes the line get very long to get into the theater.

Great movie theaters. Super comfy seats that recline all the way back. Great concession stand with special popcorn and slushies. Protip every weekend they do a midnight viewing of rocky horror picture show which is a real fun time. You can also choose your own seats which is great.

Great theatre. I have been going there for a long time and I have always had a great time. The staff is treating the customers with respect all the time so good job to them. It is always clean. I recommend this place if you have free time to spend with your friends.

Seats were comfortable but not sure the projection lighting was optimum. I thought the picture contrast could have been better.

Very nice theater that features Rocky Horror every weekend. Comfortable seats, and very clean. They serve good, healthy food as well.

I’ve never had such a terrible experience. Lights went on half a dozen times during the movie and we all had to traipse out to keep asking them to turn them off. Additionally the sound was blaring, absolutely shrieking level. I don’t get how that can happen during a film festival.

You have to order your food before you go to your seat. The fries were salty along with the popcorn. The wings and sliders were really good.

Great seating however it wasnt as expected.. you have to order your popcorn downstairs it wasnt delivered to you. Overall nice theater..

The theatre is very comfortable; however my major complaint is that there are no weekday movie showings earlier than noon. I dont understand why they cannot start their viewing schedule between 10:00-11:00 AM?

Amazing movie theater they treat the customer with respect. They are very clean and upscale. They have a waiting area that’s very comfortable. The sit of the theater are just so cozy. They have plenty of food chooses. However, they should have a lot of movies choose but overall, I like this theater and I would come back again.

We went for a screening of “Mira, Royal Detective” in this theater. The seats are the newer reclining kind. Yes!

The reclining seats were really comfortable and made for a pleasant viewing experience. I get discounted movie tickets from work as a perk, and I like that we are able to use these tickets to reserve seats online, unlike in the bigger name theaters where we have to show up, and on numerous occasions, couldnt even get seats next to each other. And the staff here seem to be better trained at good customer service, although they were a little weird with the snacks they saw in my backpack (also from work). Overall, this was a great movie theater and would now be our first choice every time we want to see a movie.

It was a pretty solid experience. You have to reserve your seats. The seats dont recline, but are still decently comfortable. The theatre itself is very clean, and well maintained. The food choices seem pretty unique (sliders, pizza with prosciutto, and sandwiches). Also, they have a bar!The only minor downsides are:- card only(or atleast a cash option was not very apparent)- chairs dont declineThe entire process was pretty seamless.

Took in a matinee and found the theater to be comfortable and clean. Looks like they will bring food and drink to your seat if you want that level of service.

Resting under six feet of dirt, nestled inside a coffin of oak while worms gnaw at her flesh.It is the hard and unkind truth of the world. It is this cold harsh reality we would try to escape when we went to the movies.On our first date we escaped the anxieties and awkwardness by going to see a film.Then when we lost our first son we went to the movies daily just to forget the pain of his passing.Then cancer came to take my sweet wife away and we went to the movies even more, her balding head curled up against chest.We watched the movie Wampo & The Boys.It was a whimsical film about a talking loaf of bread named Wampo.As we sat there curled up to one another we imagined that we were Wampo & The Boys.She died several months later and I buried her with all our movie tickets.Now I go to the movies alone, but I always take a moment to look at all the young couples together.They remind me of my youth.It leaves me with a hollow feeling in my chest. Watching them is like watching a movie.It works excellent as a distraction but Ill never be a part of the film, my movie is over.Ill tell you the real tragedy in all of this. The price of popcorn!As soon as I see how much they charge I forget all about my dead wife and think only about how much a rip off that popcorn is.

A really nicely updated, local movie theater. All of the employees Ive come in contact with here are friendly, its clean, and right by the E-train. Its one of our favorite movie theaters in The City.The new reclining seats should recline a little farther, in my opinion.

The theater itself is very nice but the service was disappointing. My recliner didn’t work and we did not receive our food. For a “dine-in” experience, it’s terrible. Prices are expensive, yet the food is brought to people in plastic containers (from what I saw, anyway). The people next to us also did not receive their food. Just go to the Alamo.

First time here but...Seating is 5 stars. Seats recline comfortably and all seats around me worked without issue. You get a little swinging wooden tray to play your concessions on, too. Amazing. Also, great legroom/walking space between rows!!!Popcorn is 5 stars. Plenty of yellow butter pieces and salty. No needs for toppings, in my opinion.2D screen is 4 stars. I sat on the end and while I could see fine, screen was shorter than the seating area.

No problems with this theater and it wasnt crammed pack with people. No long lines or waits.

Comfortable longing chairs. I saw a fun movie, Gloria Bell, with a friend. We had an excellent time. Everything was perfect with great sound. Nice picture. I enjoy this theater. Less expensive in the daytime. Service is very good. Nice Atmosphere, as a theater should be.

I cannot believe they made a movie theater this nice out of the one we had before renovations. The seats made me feel tiny, and I have never felt tiny in my life other than that time I was dating this guy who was 67.

I love this place. It has all the trappings of what I would--I do--imagine is an older style of movie-going. While I was there, attendants brought food and drinks to other patrons. It felt very much like this theater has gone way out of its way to make its patrons feel cared for. That may be essential, as this location has had a number (I think three) movie theaters in the 20+ years Ive been waking along 23rd Street here in NYC.

Brand new everything. Very nice low key theatre. The burgers sliders are good. Doesnt turn AC on sometimes to save money so def consider bringing some ice cold water in your backpack. Student discount if you have school ID which makes watching hd movies affordable

A reasonably-priced cinema, with very comfortable seating: nice big, padded chairs that recline with a footrest and a huge amount of legroom to accommodate them. The popcorn was *slightly* too salty for my taste — make sure you ask for sweet if youre used to it being the default! Picture and sound were as good as Id demand — the only minor issue was that the aircon was audible enough to notice when it switched on/off, but it certainly made for a pleasant environment on what was a hot NYC day!Easy-to-use touch-screen ticket machines in the spacious lobby, and all areas — including the restrooms — were clean and tidy.

Such a nice theatre. The seats I had reserved reclined completely. They deliver your food right to your seat.

Theater is good. Drinking fountain on 2ns floor are terrible. The menu is not good (Alamo is much better)

Nice premium theater with great picture and sound quality. Seats are wide and recline, but the upper portion of the recliners dont lean back so they tend to get very uncomfortable unless youre sitting further back. Dont forgot to get your mint on the way out!

Its way too bright in this movie theater. There is floor lighting, emergency exit lighting, and the trash can is lit by a spotlight. Ill never go there again.

Today was my first time at this theater. The staff is very kind and friendly. The theater itself is alright, big and spacious.The design of the seating area leaves a little to be desired, though - and the seats themselves are surprisingly uncomfortable, despite having the electric recline feature most modern cinemas have. The headrest seems to be positioned so that no matter how much or little you choose to recline, your neck is forced to bend forward.Also the escalator was a bit frightening while ascending, stalling randomly towards the top.

Good seating, small theater. Very nice, even a cafe of sorts.

This is my go to neighborhood movie theater. Its gone from being a run-of-the-mill theater, which was comfortable to a state-of-the-art movie house with luxurious reclining seats and table service - each chair has its own little table. I go there monthly to see whats new.

Stars for validated parking, assigned seatings, practically a 360 view (I dont know if they have this for every movie), comfy seats and English subtitles! Its a very small theater but I thought it was cute and quaint. Parking can get hectic when you come during prime time hours or when a new movie is out so watch out!

Love the seats and customer service. Sadly the Nachos were not very good, too many jalapenos and the cheese was really runny.

They have amazingly comfortable reclining seats, complete with tray tables. The aisles are very wide to support the reclining, so it is also very easy to sneak out to the bathroom or concessions without disturbing your row. All in all it was a very nice experience.

Great location, right outside of the subway. The theater itself is clean and nice. The leather recliner seats are very comfortable. Plus, it doesn’t seem crowded! Maybe because I was watching a movie that has been on for one and half month?

Expensive if youre not a student, students get half off (bring your ID). You can order food and have it delivered to you in your seat. Did I mention that the seats are basically recliners, nearly fell asleep once. By far the best movie-going experience Ive had.

Theyre fixing it up nicely. It frequently serves many film festivals. The spacious seats (with trays) are especially nice. The new concessions are a bit expensive, but this is the place I first got cheetos popcorn with extra butter so...

Shockingly uncomfortable reclining seats that left our necks in pain — must be designed for people taller or much shorter than my friend and I (5’7” and 5’5”). Big screens and good projection but those chairs are awful. Something is off on their reserved seat system - center of theater seats were empty.

Movie was Awesome. Theater was roomy and clean. But Cinépolis Chelsea needs better customer service. They need to state that they are a premium theater and will only accept premium tickets if you purchase tickets aside from Cinépolis. I had a situation where I purchased tickets from a corporate website. The tickets were traditional, not premium and I went to Cinépolis and they didnt accept and was not sympathetic.

The theater has improved in seats, food and service. Very fun and good place to see a movie
