All of the movies they have were all updated and the foods they serve are all delicious. It was a very nice place with a comfy sofa and big pillows to lay on. So far, I really had a remarkable experience with this movie house. Better than expected. Thank you very much!

Dont let this theater get eaten by the COVID monster! This was a childhood theater for me and its a great place to spend a few hours. Lets see a resurgence in theatrical showings! Counting down the days till I can sit in their comfy seats and eat the delicious popcorn!

One of the few movie theatre’s in NYC with reclining chairs. Love coming here just for that, however seats are starting to wear out, and some aren’t working like they did before.Staff is always helpful.Tickets tend to sell out quickly for box office hits, and they’re sold out for a while since everyone wants to enjoy a new film in the comfort of a reclining seat.

The seats are super wide and comfortable. It allows you to even automatically slide it down. Sound system and image definition are good. Ive heard and seen better though. The movie theater itself is very old. I wonder what year the last gut renovation was. Popcorn and drinks are pricey. I paid $19 for a gourmet popcorn and small drink. All in all a nice cinema with charm but in need of a make over.

This movie house is absolutely amazing. The ambiance of this place was so cozy. The reclining chairs that they had were so comfy to sit on. The entire place was so clean and smells good. The staff was so friendly and approachable as well. They had also a classic movie if you want to watch it as well. What a great movie house!

Great experience! Have reclining seats! Even in the very front row you see great with no neck aches. Costs more than regular theaters due to the seats, but worth the experience. Wait time in the line was less than 10 minutes. Bathroom was clean and the staff was nice.

As far as I go, service has been good as far as quick line moving for food. Seating is great with comfortable chairs that pops your legs up. Hard not to fall asleep while watching a movie. Easy access as its literally next to train and bus stops. Cabs every where.

It was great and renewed movie theater about 5 years ago with great seating but they seem to have a rodent situation because I saw a mouse trap underneath a seat which I was kind of scared of the thought that a rodent can climb up to us while watching the movie in dark. They also had water leakage from the ceiling. The food and restroom area on the main floor and the movie theater is on the 2nd floor and the lower level. The restrooms were clean and the staff was friendly.

Comfy, love the reclining chairs and staff is nice. Visit here quite often and cant say Im disappointed. Also have great deals on Plum Benefits if youre a member, thank me later!

Theater 3, and Im sure like the rest of the theaters, was very spacious and all seats are very cushioned and reclined VERY far back. The picture was clear and the audio was loud and clear all of which made for a very enjoyable cinema experience. I like that I can buy tickets online / through the app prior to the movie and order food as well. We had an issue with other theater goers a few weeks prior which actually resulted in a small altercation and the manager were polite enough to accomodate us. Considering everything, this theater is always one of our go-to cinema spots for big blockbusters.

One of the best movie theaters in NYC. Seemed very well managed and clean. Had a lot of nice features like fully reclining chairs (not sure if every theater had them) and soda machines near the theater for refills (I think). It was really comfy and will be going back again some time soon!

Easy online ticket and food package, parking garage 1/2 block away with great online prices. The recliner is more than a recliner its like a bed. Two thumbs up.

It is a nice theater but there are only two kiosks inside to buy tickets that dont work so well. There are three theaters on the top floor and three theaters on the bottom floor with the bathrooms in between both floors. The place ace was fairly crowded. I might go again.

10 minutes before the movie the theater still isnt open and everyone has to wait outside. Floor in the waiting area is covered with popcorn. The staff cant seem to clean up fast enough and good enough. Paid 20 bucks for this kind of service which is fascinating.

Went to go see Once Upon a Time in Hollywood here and this theater is the best AMC Ive been to in NYC thus far. It was clean and seats were adjustable and comfortable. It is an Upper west side theater so Im not surprised, even the restrooms were super clean. I did go during matinee hours on a Saturday so maybe it just hadnt gotten dirty yet. Overall my first experience here was positive and it will be my go to movie theater from now on.

Love the comfy seating and cant go wrong with AMC theaters. lots of space to lay down and leg room for days. the setup isnt the best and there isnt a huge movie selection since its a smaller theater, but if youre looking for comfort and a more relaxed time, its a great spot.

Lovely theater. Comfy seats. Great selection of nibbles. Only complaint is the advertisements before the movie were uncomfortably loud. The movie was not though.

I love the Lincoln center location but this location here was by far the best out of all the AMC theatres I have been to. Great attentive staff clean theatres and bathrooms. This is now my favorite

Had a great time here last night. Me and the wife came and saw Joker and loved it. Such amazing film. Were thinking about coming again tonight, since we have nothing else to do, but maybe dinner? We come here a lot, right down the street from where we stay. Some of the staff knows us now since movie dates is our thing.

The butter tastes like plain cooking oil! The male manager at night is very nasty and unreasonable! Dont bother trying to get a Souvenir at opening night! They claim every time it doesnt show up. Dont waste your money on a special event!

We came here to watch Crawl. It was a great movie...better than we thought. The seats are the best. We had a good time.

For the price The food court is not clean, when ordering it feels very rushed. Use to be nicer and cleaner before. The bathrooms is nice

AMC 84th Street, movie theater is pretty good. There is no garage parking close by, only street side parking, good luck with that. Taking the train would be your best option.Pretty much its good movie theater, the seats recline so thats a plus. The bathrooms pretty much is clean, compared to other movie theater bathrooms.Enjoy.

We viewed Bad Boys lll at this AMC 84th Street 6 theater and it was a Tuesday when tickets are cheaper. The theater was very crowded that day and it was a nice crowd. The theater was clean and the hotdogs, popcorn and sodas we purchased were fresh and tasted very good. We definitely will return here. We totally enjoyed this theater!

I come to this theater often and it is great. It has reclining seats that are comfy. I would recommend taking the train because parking is difficult to find and the fee is hefty. Overall it is wonderful.

Some staff have no customer service at all. The place could be a lot cleaner. Like they have mice’s or whatever it is running around in between seats. I use to enjoy this theater a bunch but they been slipping! Hard! Why get new seat and a little makeover to not maintain it. They can do better. I know this! It use to be one of my top dinner and a movie spot. I’m worried.

While theres barely any space to make a line to get tickets and the lines for the concession stand are literally next to where you buy tickets, they have reclining seats which makes it worth it. If anything, Id suggest getting tickets in advance if possible as to avoid the long, confusing lines.

Ive been going to the 84th AMC for nearly 10 years and to this day, its one of the best locations Ive ever been at.

I usually really like this theater because of the spacious reclining seats. But my seat tonight was broken and its not the first time. They need to maintain them better if theyre going too charge premium prices.Broken seat was D4 in theatre 5. Its slanted about 15 degrees to the side. Dont sit there!

Nice location. It was my first time there. The concession stand line ran smooth especially on a $5 Tuesday situation in the afternoon. For a young staff they were respectful and manners which is a big deal because most theaters in NY the staff has an attitude. Clean seats that work and clean theater floors. Bathroom were clean as well

Comfortable seats and a good viewing experience. Book in advance if you want good seats, they are assigned and if you turn up to buy tickets all the good seats will likely be taken.

I try to see movies at 84th street whenever possible. Their seating is so much better than the larger theater, AMC Lincoln Square 13. 84th street has recliners and is generally in better condition than other theaters in the area.

My husband and I took our daughter to see Angry Birds 2 yesterday. Unless we go on Tuesdays its $70. We paid $23 for a drink and a pretzel that was sour and stale. Normally we always go to to the movies in Yonkers. Yesterday I thought it would be nice to take the train instead of driving. From now on I will stick to what I know. We will be going back to Yonkers!

Had a good time seats were comfortable food is a bit expensive. All was good. Good place for a date or get together. Could have better quality cleaning services.

Simple, concise, and BRIEF...This is the best AMC Theater in all NY. For me, going to this AMC location is the most convenient for me. But it wouldnt kill me to go to the Lincoln Square location. There the prices are cheaper, but the seats can be uncomfortable. But honestly the 84 street location is great.

My husband and I come here all the time. Everyone is so friendly and the theatre all always clean and its a great place to go to see new films.

The last time I was here was in 2015. I remember being blown away by the huge, plush, super comfy leather recliner. It was so comfortable I almost fell asleep during the movie. There was a tremendous amount of space between my seat and the person to the right and left of me, so you really felt alone and engrossed in the movie. Today I went to a movie, and was really looking forward to having this experience again. I was shocked at how everything was different. Gone are those big recliners, they have been replaced with the standard home theater red recliners, that are built in rows of 4 or more seats. The seat was not that comfortable but the worst part is you are really, REALLY close to the person on either side of you, its worse than a regular movie theater seat. Its just gross. Between the popcorn eating of the person on one side of me, to the slurping of soda and talking on the other side of me, it was a nightmare. Halfway through the movie I got up and sat in the second row by the screen, which was actually pretty good. Unlike other movie theaters where you can break your neck if youre in the second row, here the screen is set up where its actually watchable. Plus most of the row was empty. Anyway after the movie ended I asked an employee about the seats and was told the movie theater completely remodeled the place, took the old seats out and put these rows in. It was well worth the $20 a ticket (or more? It might have been $21 or $22 then), I paid in 2015. But the $20 I paid today was a waste, all the pleasure of comfort and space are gone. Im never coming back.

Always nice to have assigned seating. It was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and smelled damn good for a bathroom lol. The placement of the concession stand is awkward due the structure column thats there. U have to squeeze past people and hope you dont get bumped and drop your food.

I will always love a theatre where you can put your own butter. (I love tons)They are clean and because of AMC stubs. I was able to walk in right away with my phone as a ticket. Best experience ever

Not to be biased, but this is the best movie theatre by far, and my favorite. Its quaint size delivers a comfortable and personal experience to every viewer as well as between viewers, whether alone or accompanied. Reserved seating is a must, like watching a movie on your bed or your couch, from the comfort of your own home but with a slightly bigger screen. Haha. The theatre itself is also located in a good area with good restaurants for a quick bite before or after.

Not sure how all theaters are here, but theater 5 in the lower floor has a huge design flaw. If the row in front of you decide to put their arm rest off, it blocks a portion of the screen. If someone is slightly taller than the chair when sitting, then their head will cover a portion of the screen.

Great reclining seats, good variety of snacks including Popcorn, hot dogs, hash browns, and candy. They keep adding more great movies, therefore you will never not find a good movie that you want to watch at AMC. The seats are very big, and humans of all shapes and sizes can fit in them. The seats are also very comfortable, that you might even want to sleep in them if you had the time. Also, they recline, which is great for a long movie. The screen is very big. The movie quality AMC serves is also very good. I do not think AMC can improve in anything, if I think realistically.

My husband and I love this theater. Its cozy and its our go to theater whenever we are in a mood to sit back and relax.

My most favorite spot ever for movies! so favorite that when I move to new houses, I make sure I have good commute to this spot! Its one of the few locations that has HUGE couches for fun cuddles (if youre going as a couple) or snuggling with popcorn and drink if youre going solo (which I enjoy doing often). I usually combine it with a cheat day (which happens more than one day in a week haha) and take the cheese pizza, large drink and something sweet. If youre going with a plus one, make sure to lift the handle from between the couches, for an easy and elegant arm gesture for a hug! ENJOY :)
