Great place for walking or running, I spent a complete Saturday morning there with a foggy morning I enjoyed so much. You can see lots of oysters sticking to the rocks or some star fish there. Please don’t bother them just let others enjoy them too. You can park across the street and enjoy the Malibu see food restaurants that is nearby.

Small but beautiful beach - not too crowded ...

A little rugged and you have to go to either side to have easy access unless you want to be adventurous and climb a steep hill. However its totally worth it. Not a lot of people, chill vibe and beautiful ocean to enjoy your day or evening.

Great little spot pretty secluded right off of PCH not a lot of traffic on the samd... some rocks in certain parts of the water ...good sunbathing small hike down.... Over all great spot for little private beach picnic

Fished here a few times. Last time about 1 year ago. Every time there was too much kelp and seaweed floating in the water. Hard to fish here.

It was nice and at the same time was a bit gloomy for the end of May.

Its a beach. Slightly rocky where we were, waves slightly too rough for some of us. But sea was clean and place wasnt crowded (Wednesday afternoon) Parking on verge of Pacific Highway free but kinda scary.

Parking was easy new years day. I have a feeling during the summer finding a place to park could be a chore. The road is busy and fast right here. The slope to walk to the beach can be slippery. But there are easy paths for the less than coordinated out there. The beach wasnt crowded and the folks at the beach kept to themselves. Not friendly or rude. Just doing their own thing. Id go back forsure

Get here early. Street parking only. Narrow beach with short cliff walk down from the street. Port-a-potty bathrooms and short walk to a restaurant. All this adds up to uncrowded even on a weekend in the summer, purely due to lack of parking and literal space. Decent waves for the family and a beginner surfer. Only downfall is the road traffic, particularly hogs and rockets

Besides the fact the lifeguards will kick your dogs off the beach to protect the birds its a nice place. First they create a wetland (swamp) that breeds mosquitos and other disgusting things, then other animals are not allowed to protect the ones that are naturally moving on. The earth has done its thing for ages... Humans are really not Gods who should dictate who does and doesnt deserve to get their feet (or paws) in the sand.

Extremely crowded during the day. Go early in the morning, much nicer. Moderately littered, but not too bad. Fairly average west coast beach. Bring food, not a lot of easy options that are walkable.

I like that most people dont venture out to other areas of open sand. They choose to be closer to whats popular (tourist attractions/SM Pier/3rd st Prom/Venice boardwalk).Less people, less trash, and way less birds to worry about. Although there is a bit more washed up seaweed. Theres a shorter distance from cliff to ocean.No parking lot or structure, just street parking. No restrooms-just porta pottys..

Very beautiful & relaxing

This was my first time at this beach and I was a bit disappointed. There are a lot of rocks close to shore, making it dangerous to boogie board. There is a bit of a trek down some sketchy makeshift paths to get to the shore from where the parked cars are. Also, if you plan to use the porta potties, bring your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer. It was a decent beach but I dont think Ill be coming back. It was good to just hang out on the sand but I was bummed about all the rocks. Sometimes the waves made it hard to tell where the rocks were so be careful if you go in the water!
