This is a very nice place in Downtown Lakeland, with nice restaurants around it, specially Harrys Bar and Grill where food is first class food at good prices. The area architecture is old and every thing has recently been restored. There is a lake with ducks and swans two blocks away from this square ( park ) with an old romantic Italian style look with lovely gardens around. The tranquility of this area worth the visit to Downtown Lakeland.

Went to the Market yesterday for the first time. It was nice to see people back out doing things and selling their food and crafts. I took my elderly mom there and she was able to sit on a bench while we walked around a while but I felt a bit uncomfortable because there were a lot of homeless people there in the park and a poster with the face of a stalker on the window of a store...more should be done to clean up the area.

Munn Park is beautiful. The only thing that scared me was watching the police carry homeless people off who fell asleep on the benches and charging them arresting them.. but Mom Park is a beautiful place and the restaurant on the corner divicious is one of the best places Ive ever ate the deli is fantastic the owner is fantastic the workers are great and everything is very safe there I feel.

Nice beautiful area. Lots of events go on year round. Lots of local businesses are al over within walking distance. There are places to sit relax and enjoy the breeze or scenery. The roads and sidewalks are well kept and clean. Cops patrol regularly to give feeling of safety. Lots it do lots to see.

Every First Friday of the month, Lakeland holds a business event. You can come out and see local businesses and what they offer. This one was centered around Aerospace Academy for Excellence Sun n Fun Airshow coming up March 31st. The park is in a great central location. Lots of space, power is available everywhere needed. Plenty of trash receptacles. Most of the local stores around there let you use their restrooms. Nice to just walk around and talk to people.

Pleasant and quiet.This is a major longterm-homeless hangout during the daytime, but they wont bother you. Any panhandling here would cause a person to be permanently trespassed from the park.Its a large square in the center of downtown with benches, tables and chairs, etc. I have never been there when I couldnt find several places to sit. There are large shade trees so you will have your choice of sun or shade.At Christmas time the park is very brightly decorated, and there are many nighttime events throughout the week/month.There are several restaurants right across the park in three directions, and additional restaurants within one or two blocks - walking distance.

Would be a great place to come and sit and enjoy downtown, if it wasnt for all of the homeless taking up and sleeping on all of the benches. Besides that not too bad.

Ahh, Munn Park..... Gone are the days of stargazing and commiserating. It used to be such a great place to think and take in the sounds of downtown. Unfortunately, the place has slowly become the land of the walking dead.Drifters, drug dealers and the disaffected have taken up refuge, fighting over electricity to charge their cellphones using stolen power from the lightposts. Then they sit high on whatever drugs they could buy from their panhandling, using the free internet and stolen power to peruse the social media of their choice. They will steal whatever you leave unattended to pawn off for a few dollars to get their next fix.They lay, flayed out and contorted on the half benches, smelling of booze and BO. But come 8 O Clock, they stumble down to the Lighthouse Ministries to get a free meal and a place to stay. Rinse. Repeat. And do over again.The homeless situation has grown from a minor problem to one that is harming the economic vitality of Lakelands downtown. Despite the more empathetic side of me who wants to help them, I also recognize that this is a much bigger problem than a small community like Lakeland can tackle.Giving them freebies only perpetuates the problem. I ask my fellow Lakelander to stop giving these people money, they are not in need of money, they are in need of institutionalized help.I dont want Lakeland to become the next Seattle, LA or San Francisco.

They took the statue down! Whos offended by Robert E. Lee?!! Needs something there in its place. Instant. Looks rather bland. Too many homeless folks hanging around bumming for change n beers.

Beautiful park to bring you family.

Beautiful spot in the midst of the city. See the swan, ducks and egrets. Walk to the Polk art museum, take in historic sites or shop for antiques near by. Its worth seeing.

Nice park for walking, being with your family or friends. We went for one of the First Night events. Good crowd. Perfect location for this event.

We had a great time with the family and beautiful weather! The shops were great and so hospitable. We only spent a few hours and had free snacks n drinks from a shop there. I think there are pics but not sure of the name. Lights out for the Shell on 92 n Berkly. Just go next year and see for yourself. We even had a chance to to ride a horse and wagon.

Its OK, not really what it used to be. Although there are many more homeless people there, I can say that they keep to themselves and do not really approach people too often.

Didnt know some churches were doing a free food ,clothing, haircuts for homeless. Uplifting speaker... They do it 3x a year. Nice park--central area for many things-car shows,food trucks..etc.

Great place to visit and walk around. They also have plenty of seats to sit and enjoy a good book or to relax with some music. They also have many events FREE several times a year!

Great place for the whole family. Interesting sculptures, stores and restaurants all around it and a Farmers Market every Saturday for 4 blocks on Kentucky Ave. Theres even a childrens museum across the street! Check local listings for on-going events.

A decent place full of homeless people, people who will rob you, pompous wastes of human life, and really annoying teenagers. Watch your back, and look both ways before you cross the street. Munn Park is next to too many bars to count and is a good place to get robbed.

A part of Lakeland that has been around for forever. The lil eaterys and shops are cool. But all you see is homeless people everywhere.

Middle of the city park with some neat art. The most fascinating wind chimes Ive ever seen. A guy on a bike, connected to a wire between 2 trees with a balance bar and wind chimes on each end. Never fall over.

Food truck rally the 2nd Thursday of each month is so much fun. DJ playing music, families, pets, kids playing. Do relaxing to pick a meal from a food truck and watch all the people doing the same.

I always love coming here, all the stores and the antiques are great and that most people respect the Confederate monument its great

Its a great little park where they do all kinds of events. First friday and the food truck rally being my favorite. They used to have a beer even but I am unsure if they still have it.

Perfect for a nice stroll in the evening. Pet friendly, lots of seats and benches. Nicely decorated during the holidays. Lots of nice shops surrounding it to visit.

Clean park with lots of open space to run around. Has benches and chairs along parameters. The large fountain on one end helps keep the area cool. Surrounded by businesses and restaurants. Often used by Lakeland for festivals, food truck rallys, car shows, first Friday chamber events, amongst other activities.

Munn Park is a specialty place to me and my other half. It’s so beautiful at night and very easy to get to anything you’d possibly need on foot from food to entertainment and a calming beauty. It’s my favorite place.

Its Hot in the center, but Cool on the outside of the park. On Sunday churches come around to feed. Once a year event called The Longest Table takes place. That is where a few restaurants get together for feeding Lakeland.

Our puppy loves sitting by the fountain theres a ton of nice restaurants near by that for the most part are all delicious. Plenty of shade and seating areas and right downtown

Loveman Park and I love all the events that surround them Park. If I could offer some suggestions to the City of Lakeland... I would go get every citrus tree that is grown and farmed in Florida and put those on the North End of the park with plaques. People in Central Florida should understand this is Citrus country and they also need to understand what the trees look like and the value that it brings to Central Florida. I would also ask that the city bring in tables on event nights food truck Thursday theres absolutely no where to sit. You want a great attendance for food truck Thursday for some tables out there City of Lakeland.

I try to make Lakeland Pride every year. This area has really come together since I was young.

This a beautiful little park for the kids to run around, especially after eating. We drove over from Orlando to meet family for lunch, and it was great for the kids to get all of their energy out before we hopped in the car to head back. Lots of trees and benches.

Downtown Lakeland has become such an eclectic destination

Ive been going to Munn park for 31 years. Its always been a lovely place and the center of Lakeland. They have a great Christmas light display, food truck rally, crash shows, farmers markets and the Christmas parade goes by there. As of late they have installed comfortable out door seating. I love downtown and Munn park. But here is an issue. Today my girlfriend and I went and got take out and wanted to eat outside. So we went to Munn Park and we counted 32 homeless people. Taking up all the park benches and all but 2 sets of table and chairs. They left trash around, had their bare feet on the tables. Hell, I watched one brush his teeth in the water fountain and sit all over the ground. Lakeland caters to the homeless and our homeless population is and has been on a constant rise. Its an issue that needs to be dealt with and because of this I give Munn Park a one star review.

Munn Park was a beautiful, and peaceful place. An honored Memorial with flowers, and peaceful shade. In the middle of the park was a confederate memorial that was put in place in 1912 by the wives, and mothers of the Confederate Fallen Soldiers during the Civil War. It was removed on March 22nd, 2019.Now it is just a park. All the flowers are gone.

Went for the monthly food truck fest, it was ok. I miss the statue and feel of history since they removed it. It feels plain and dull now. The food was good, what we tried. The dj was kind enough to play a song for my granddaughter. We may go back but its not the same

This pretty Park is a great event venue. Lakelands First Fridays feature entertainment, closed streets, vendors and downtown stores open late.

Very clean and spacious. Separate small and large dog park. Plenty of water fountains, poop stations, poop bags, cleaning station, water pipes, shaded area to relax, grass is well trimmed. This is the best dog park in Lakeland.

City of New Port Richey and parks and rec have done a great job making this a fun place for events and music we love this place and the family times we have had there!!!! Ty
