Ill always love this park. For the moments and the memories. Lakeland did an awesome job when they put this one together. Always something for all ages, even big big kids like myself.

Innovative playground experience. Stunning setting near Lake Mirror and Hollis Gardens. There is even a water feature for warm days.

Excellent for your family. Friendly people. The separated areas helps with ensuring you kid doesnt go to far.

Good park to let my son run around. Fully fenced in so I can always keep track of where he is at. Just wish the water was on

The beautiful Hollis garden is exquisite! We love Mirror lake and spending afternoons walking around the lake!

My 11 yr old daughter had fun with her friends!! Even though the playground is not that big its always a pleasure to go there!! My only problem is the smokers to close to the kids playground!!

My kids love it here, and they have several playgrounds for the different age groups, so all kids can play safe.

Pretty clean park, no smoking. The gardens next door were amazing, and my two year old loved the splash pad (which uses chlorinated water!) The playground is a lot different than other playgrounds and includes a really nice sand area.

Great place to bring the kids. Smaller park for little ones, bigger park for the older kids, plus the splash pad with the splash bucket. My son is eight and still has a blast here. Water part opens at 10am but the rest opens at 7am.

The kids absolutely love this place and to be quiet honest I do too. Fun place to take the kids they love to feed the ducks and each part of the playground is fenced in this is the place to take your children if you want to wear them out.

We love going to Barnett park (and Lake Mirror in general! ) I love the safe play area for my children and the splash pad is always a hit!

We love Barnett park. Its small enough so that you can see your kids at any of the parks from the area around the tree. The splash pad is great on warmer days and the big tree right in the center is perfect for spreading out a picnic blanket underneath. There are restrooms close by and even a little restaurant if you decide you dont want to pack lunches.

Great park! There are 2 play areas for big and little kids. Lots of fun things to do. Benches, shade nearby and easy access to a walking path around the lake

The play area for the smaller children was beautiful however the area for the older children with the spider web tower looks like it can use some attention with a new ground cover. Children had a great time.

Its a beautiful park. Very well kept. Great place for younger kids as they have a section geared just got them with water sprinklers coming out of the ground. Went there twice. Once just to walk around and enjoy the very large pond area and sit and chat and the 2nc time for the Latin Festival. Very well organized. Great music and people. Everyone took care of their own trash. Had a blast. Even though it rained a couple of times it cooled everyone down for it was s Hot One but it did not stop the party.

Great park for the little ones

There is something for everyone. The kids can play and the adults can enjoy the fresh air. Even though there is a lot of people there its still very calming. I will be going back there has much has possible.

One of a kind, beautiful park with a decent splashpad and top tier play area, one for older kids and one set aside for the 2-5yr crowd. If you visit, definitely check out the gardens on the other side of the eatery; there are sculptures, fountains, flowers and bamboo.

It was a beautiful day spent with our 2 grandbabies. This park was just perfect! Our 2 yr old loved the water shooting up from the ground, the climbing & swings. Our little one enjoyed watching all the goings on. Yes we will go back!

Lovely park. Love that the play areas for younger children are fully gated in so I can let my toddlers run free while I play with the baby. There is even a nice sandbox play area. The splash pad is great too and the kids love it. Always a nice clean park! Favorite one so far.

Best place to go with the family

My grand daughter was down visiting and she loves going to the park , so I found Barnett family park , I was very impressed with this park ,my granddaughter enjoyed her time at the park.We went early in the morning to avoid the heat so she had most of the park to her self.The park was very clean and there was plenty of stuff for her do to for age.Great little park for the little ones.

Close to lake mirror if you want to walk the lake. Beautiful park setup for big kids and little kids to enjoy themselves. Also for pokemon go players they have a bunch of poke stops.

My kids love the splash pad!! Open everyday but wenesdays. Park has great slides and things to play on. Kids are 3 and 1

Very nice park. Clean restrooms with changing tables. Lots of shaded areas and plenty of benches to sit down and relax while watching kids play inside the playground, which has a fence for kids not to run off. They have big kids area and little kids area. The splash pad wasnt working when I went. Looks like its been like that for a while. They have a huge pavilion with lots of tables, I think you could rent them out or used the ones that are available for free. All the decorations must be free standing, in other words, you cant hang anything from walls, fence or tables. After having fun at the park we take a walk around lake Mirror and go in garden area, then it has an exit to the parking area. Parking is limited.

This park is fun for little kids. Bigger kids may not have that much fun as it has limited things for them to explore. However, it is right near Lake Mirror so youre able to take a walk and enjoy the outside. You will see ducks and if you look closely you will be able to see tadpoles in the lake.

Such a fun and interactive space! The kids particularly enjoyed running around the rope-style carousel.

Have been here many times and it is one of the highlights of living in Lakeland. My only complaint is that the city under utilizes this space. If they allowed concerts here every weekend it would be full of happy people having fun every weekend. Once upon a time it was like that but no more. They do a concert here maybe 4 times a year now and the rest of the time no one uses it for much of anything. So, I give the park 5 stars and the city of lakeland zero stars for being stupid with a resource. I did have a great time taking my parents here the other night though. Great show, great fireworks, great time.

This is a very nice friendly park. My 8 year old grandson & his dad had a ball they were kicking around, and soon most of the other kids joined in. Gave my son a break. ;-)

Was so fun, I enjoyed a lot with my family.

They have attendants who keep the area clean and they close at dusk. Party spots are available at a first come first serve basis. A beautiful flower garden is nearby open during the blooming season and a lake is right on the premises to walk.

Great for families with sensory sensitive members. A sand box, small basket swing and dinosaur sculptures are on the 5 and under side with monkey bars that have rope steps underneath them. There is a car wheel that turns and makes noise (It is solar powered so if its cloudy forget it). On the 5 and above side there is a large spinning merry go round and a large sculpture that can be climbed (Ive seen children fall and the height is about 20 feet from the ground so be cautious when climbing). They do allow parties here with no cost to utilize the tables. There is a water play area that shoots out reclaimed water so do not allow families members to consume the water. The water is turned off on Wednesday so keep that in mind. If the playground isnt your thing then there is a lake to walk that is 1 1/3 miles around. Downtown is 3 streets over where eateries and bar life is readily accessible.

My kids love it here. We love the water park of it the best on a hot day

My favorite place to take my 3 kiddos, all under age 5 currently. Lots of walking areas we can use our stroller with. Love the splash pad and fenced in park area for the littler kids, since my older son likes to run off. Its always beautiful and well kept!

I love this park! Its so unique! They have a spinning jungle gym! Theres giant metal poles u can play music on and theres the water area too. Also they have age group playgrounds fenced off which is such a great idea for the little ones. Theres also bathrooms right next to it tht are always open, which is so nice! Its always clean and next to the lake and Hollis gardens.

Its been a while since weve been there but there is no lack of fun to be had here. They have a tot park and a park for older kids. Its right next to Hollis gardens where you can literally stop and smell the roses. They recently added a huge dump bucket at the splash pad. My children had so much fun. Great for birthday parties or a family day. Definitely reccomend!

It was awesome. It was a birthday party for a soon to be 3 yr. old, and they had a ball! So did the grown-ups!

Very pleasant and well kept up family park. Lots of kids having a great time in the summer heat when I walked by. I dont have little kids anymore (they grew up), but Id take my kids there if they were still young.

This park is wonderful. There is plenty to do and even has a splash pad to cool off. Access to walk the lake and to a little bistro.

One of my favorite parks in Lakeland and a great place to watch the Christmas parade.

This is our familys favorite park to bring our three young children. There are clean public restrooms and the park/area itself is well kept and clean. Multiple parks are located here for different aged children which we think is great. Their are pavilions and it is all surrounding a beautiful lake. I highly reccomend this park for people with kids and also if you dont have kids there is a lot to enjoy such as sight seeing and enjoying the beautiful area/nature.

Great little park. Me and my boyfriend go here to play Pokemon Go and play on the park. The Hollis Gardens are also very close and makes a great date! If youre both slightly childish...

Very nice and pleasant. Sometimes it can be noisy by the kids play area but if you walk towards the lake it can be quite and peaceful. Nice little place with a little bit of everything for the family.

It was fine. My kids love the small water park area and the sand place.

Has a splash pad if you can call it that the big kids park is pretty much only 2 activities. The only reason it gets 3 stars is cause the little kids area is nice. If you arent doing a special event such as a wedding or you have smaller children(6 or below) this park is a waste of time.

Barnett park is a great place for families. They have a play equipment for both older children and younger children, as well as a water spray area and a giant tree for shade on for hot days. Theres a bistro that Ive never eaten at and pokestops around the playground and lake for pokemon go players
