Theyve completely replaged the big playset within the past month!

Very nice, quiet, and calm park to go to. It is a little bit further east of Common Ground park, on Edgewood. Has a nice, smaller, open field area, next to the play area, that is relatively all fenced in. You will still want to monitor your children (as always), but still offers some peace of mind. Highly recommend! (Hopefully it stays maintained and kept up with - every visitor plays a part with this.) ♡

Great little park with Shade and Water

I took three little kids they loved it. Other children and families there were very nice. All seemed to be enjoying the park.

Its a great park with lots of space to run n play and tons of natural shade from huge trees... HERES THE KICKER!! NO BATHROOMS. Didnt realize until my 3yr daughter was running up to me having to go potty before she well u know was going to have an accident... AND Im like Hmmm okay Plan B go behind a bush... But would be a GREAT Park if it had a Bathroom.!.

The park itself was nice. My son loves the playground itself. However he did not like being stung by a wasp. Needs to be better maintained. Found four wasps nests. Two of them are under slides. And two of them are at the peak of the canopies. I tried calling the City of Lakelands Park and recreation services but they just put me on hold and I was never able to talk to anybody about it. I understand that wasps will create nests anywhere. However the parks should be more maintained then to have large wasp nests created in their parks.

Nice park doesnt get crowded, only downfall is no bathrooms.

Great place to walk where there is shade. If its really hot out I will go there to walk the perimeter which has plenty of shade on 3 sides, only a little on one side.

Wonderful place to visit. Many great places nearby to shop or just browse. Lake Morton is nearby as well with lots of birds to view.

A nice playground for neighborhood children.Children should always be accompanied by a responsible grown up ! Not recommended after dark

Nice open spaces to run! There are shade trees everywhere except for over the play equipment. There are gaps in the fence along Edgewood... that should really looked at since its a childrens playground... kinda dangerous.

This is a nice quiet park. Theres usually not many kids here because of the proximity of common ground park. Theres picnic tables, the standard playground equipment, and swings for handicapped kids. There is also a big field to play ball.

Cute park but no bathrooms. I happen to love it because its always empty!!

Really impressed how well theyre taking care of this part that I grew up in. Do miss the Merry-Go-Round though. I always wanted to make my own merry go round with a flywheel and a starter at the base of the merry-go-round so all you have to do is push your button to spin around! One of many of my genius inventions LOL.

Quiet little jewel of a park off of Edgewood! Great place to take children for a fun romp on the swings. Plenty of trees for shade.

A nice neighborhood park with plenty of room for activities. Newer swings and gym set. Lakeland obviously values its parks!

I took my son and my girlfriend here its a good little part but it needs more up here there are several wasp nest around the park that have not been sprayed and when I called to complain to the city they left me on hold and never got back to me

No parking. Limited shade. No bathrooms. Decent playground though. Hard to compete with common ground blocks away. It is empty though, and has a good bit of free grassy area.

Beautiful park. Love that the baby swings are shaded. Picnic tables and a large grassy area perfect for tag. We will be back!

Took my grandchildren there for the first time and was very pleased with the park. Many things for boys to do and a super environment for the adults as well. Would highly recommend the park for children of all ages.

Nice small, quiet park with a playground and small field. I just wish it had a restroom. This park would be great for a childs birthday party except for that missing amenitie.
