We couldn’t get over how huge and cool this playground area was! Definitely shows the thought and detail Greenville puts into their park system.

Really great place for kids to play and get some energy out. Has a huge playground, has a volleyball area with sand, playing fields, a walking trail, and a covered shelter. Highly recommend this place for taking your kids too

This park has two playgrounds, a small little kids playground that is fenced in and a giant big kid playground. There are big fields for sports to be played in. There is a small walking trail. One of the nicer parks Ive been to with my kids.

What kid doesn’t like giant slides, zip lining from one platform to another, and climbing all over the place? This park was the perfect afternoon trip for my active daughter. Tucked behind the half-mile-lake neighborhood, this expansive park had plenty of comfortable shaded seating for parents and lots of equipment for playful young ones. The playground space didn’t feel crowded-even though the parking lot filled up with mini-vans shortly after we arrived.My daughter made some new friends and I got to read a book outside-this park was a “win-win.”

This is a great park! Whether you want to walk, bring your dogs or bring your children to play on an awesome playground, you wont be disappointed.

My son loves this park. So we drive across town to it. The best one weve been to so far in Greenville.

There are two separate park areas, one is for the older kids and the other for the younger. Its perfect!

Very nice park we went to watch my granddaughters soccer game and she won 3-0.

Take some bee spray or be a great runner lol. They are all over the place right now( yellow jackets). So much so that you cant sit and enjoy a simple picnic .

Great Park with awesome signs that tell you how to have a child and be a parent as if you might be an alien whos never heard of such things. but serious note this place has the best playground tallest slides and even a second playground for very small children. it overlooks a couple soccer fields and there are great walking paths all over and even a volleyball court. May even receive a visit from an ice cream truck.

This park is awesome! Large play structure, sanded volley ball courts, soccer fields, covered picnic areas. One of my favorite parks near my home.

When you rent from them they do not fix it.and then they will raise your rent for no reason.they have done this for the last 2 years Ive lived thier

We like this park. The little kids area is fenced in and a nice big play area for bigger kids. They have a full soccer field, sand volleyball court, and a nice walking path. The only downside would be not a lot of shade so it makes the playground equipment hot.

Great place things for everyone such as sports courts, a small park for toddlers with a fence for extra security, a park for kids, teens, and even adults if you want. Theres a giant slide usable by all ages even adults and plenty of things to climb on. Theres also some things dedicated to the hospital and asylum that was once there. Would recommend to friends and would 100% go again.

Best playground in Greenville IMO and weve been to them all. Also probably the biggest/highest playground around. Located up on a hill that looks out over a large portion of Greenville. Lots of shade. Plenty of convenient seating around the playground (hightop table with seats, benches) and shaded picnic tables with charcoal grills. Two separate playgrounds...one for toddlers and one for bigger kids. Sand volleyball courts, nice restrooms/shelter, plenty of parking. A+ in my book.

This is such a cool park. Theres a small area for little kids but what really shines is their giant playground. Whoever designed this thing put a lot of thought and effort into it. Just know that its huge and really not good for smaller kids. Make sure your kiddo has good balance and climbing skills :)

Great small track and toys for young kids

Great park! Excellent selection of playsets/swings and good variety of shade and sunny, for big kids and for little kids etc. Only complaints would be yellow jackets are EVERYWHERE in and near the covered pavillion areas that are up on a hill and bathrooms need more attention. Still a great park though! Has a wonderful track for walking, biking, running etc...just a really big park good for lots of different uses.

I absolutely loved it here plus there is a haunted story behind it as well... You dont have to dig too deep!

Herdklotz Park is a great part of Historic Greenville. Enjoy time with the family and kids and feel safe about your stay. The play ground has a nice elevated feel and has several slides that are very fun for the young ones! Park features a fun climbing wall sure to inspire! Parking is easy and youll enjoy knowing its not off of a main highway. Park also has a nice walk way with benches along the way. Great place to sit and practice your acoustic guitar!

One of our favorite parks in Greenville. There is a long walking track around both the playground and two soccer fields. The playgrounds are awesome with one for bigger kids that includes a few higher slides, climbing wall, and a short zip-line thing. Then there is a lower playground area that is fenced in for little ones. Lots of swings available and usually lots of kids there to play. There are random tables everywhere as well as an entire covered shelter area. If you go in the summertime, there is likely to be a summer camp of kids playing here and it can be really busy. Nights usually have soccer teams on the fields practicing. If you have little ones, you should check out Herdklotz.

Fun for all ages. The playground equipment feels safe in both play areas. The walking tracks around the park are well kept and easy to access. Nice shady spaces to picnic with covered tables available. Plenty of parking. Public restrooms with water fountains.

It is a very nice park with lots to do for kids of all ages. Kind of a hidden gem because for years I have lived within 5 miles and had never heard of it.

The equipment at this playground is the best in the area. There are plenty of swings, beautiful slides, and plenty of shady places to sit when your kid plays in the summer sun. The bathrooms are well kept. We love this place!

Love this park. Only thing Id change is having baby swings nearer to the big park so I can watch all my kids at once.

A nice sized park with plenty of parking. The toddler playground is gated. There are two fields. One has a 1/4 mile track and the other is normal sized. There is a spot to play volleyball beside the big kids park.

This park is a real gem! It features a small playground for little kids and a large playground with three large slides, multiple swings, and great climbing area. It also has two soccer fields, sand volleyball court, and a huge sidewalk path around the campus. This park is dog friendly and had clean bathrooms and a shaded picnic area in the small and large play areas. You wont be disappointed.

By far one of the nicest parks in the Greenville area. Multiple layers of play areas for all ages. Kid and adult friendly allowing us bigger kids to enjoy time with our little ones.Plenty of walking area, as well a multiple soccer fields to use.Also a lot of history on the grounds as it used to be a hospital.

The play ground is huge. They even have a toddlers area that is fenced in!!! Grills for bbqing... Such a great time!

The park has two playgrounds which works great if you have children of different ages. It is also very spacious with a big playing field as well.

This is an awesome park. They have the fields for sports and the jungle gyms, but what makes this place so nice is the small kiddie park with gates for the little ones, the various picnic tables and covered areas, and best of all for the hot, South Carolina, summer months, they have tons of shade trees, making getting out of the sun easy to do while watching your kids. Be warned, however, that as a young adult with your kids, you will be hard-pressed to not attempt to mount the play area yourself. It just pulls on you.

This park is great! I had no idea this existed but if you live close by definitely take the kids for a visit. It has a huge playground with several levels and huge slides. There is also a smaller kids playground for younger kids. There are also a couple of large open fields if you just feel the need to run around, kick a ball around, or enjoy some open space.

My gbabies love this park and I do too but its hard on my old knees with all the hills and I try to make sure I use the restroom b4 I go because its a lot of steps to climb if you got to go.
