Watch for SNAKES! I suggest pack a first aid kit, a basket, + snacks & water just in case. Took the 4 boys out to breathe fresh air & had a blast along all the trails.NOTE: DO NOT SWIM OR GET IN THE WATER. THE SEDIMENT IS CONTAMINATED.There is a warning on the website. We found mushrooms, sparkleberries, & tons of wild blackberries along with wildlife galore!Just remember to have fun & be prepared to explore a good bit.

It is beautiful!! I will say though people going through the trail will need to remember the very last bridge that takes you back to the start of the path is out. You may have to trek back just a little bit to find a path that takes you back.

Great park, amazing trails and benches to sit and get away from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. Only wish they had trash cans along the trails for pet waste and bottles.

Nature and wetlands only miles from downtown. It is beautiful with hundreds of different birds. LCNP works really hard to take care of this area.

Absolutely love this place. I only wish there was a way to make people follow the rules of the park. No fishing. All dogs on a leash. Stay on marked trails. Walk bikes across all boardwalks. Dont litter, and yes this means your bag of dog poop you leave on the trail or toss into the bushes. Do not harass wildlife( including catching frogs and turtles) and dont disturb the plants or trees.

Love this park. The trails are awesome. The playground has lots of new equipment and is kept well. Lots of stuff to do. There is a fenced off area for smaller kids. Lots of things to climb

Difficult to find due to the small sign and very limited parking. Recomend going to one of the larger parking lots to start your hike. Once on the trail everything is great. Well maintained, plenty of signs informing of the parks past. Trails are marked, but be careful if you dont have a trail map. You can easily get turned around and find yourself much farther from your car than you think.
