I have lots of good memories of this place. I was in charge of *lightly and carefully* cleaning the works of art. I was also a gallery guard. This was around 79 to 83. The staff were very friendly and professional. I hope the gallery reopens soon!At end of our guard shift we always had to search our section for bombs and bodies. I remember also that the ladies, especially Mrs. Poindexter, trying to catch us in the act of sitting down on the job.One time Dr. Bob Jr. saw me on a ladder going over a huge painting with a cleaning brush (I think it was The Ascension, Gustave Dore) and expressed concern downstairs but was told I was being careful.

This is my favorite museum of European Christian art the last millennium in the entire state and there is nowhere I have seen this art that its so holy and beautiful. reminds me of my Treasures in Heaven and everyone should see this Museum .people would realize that Jesus Christ is Lord they could see this museum actually wish I could start a charity that would give transportation and Museum these so that old people and people who are dying of cancer and deadly diseases could go to these museums and see their Treasures in Heaven and then maybe they wouldnt be afraid of dying

The Museum and Gallery has broadened my horizons and given me a love for art that I never had before. Not only is the artwork incredible, but the staff is such a joy to be around. I have learned so much from the M&G staff there and appreciate their sweet spirit and positive attitude. It really creates a relaxing environment (or makes even the busiest day a joyful experience). If you have not gone, please make it a point to go! Be ready to have your mind, heart, and soul challenged, as is their mission. In my personal experience, art has the power to transform your way of looking at things. Be prepared for truth to come alive in a most unusual way. Thank you, M&G for all you do.

A phenomenal collection, viewing it is similar to experiencing Biltmore House: I dont believe its possible to appreciate it all in one visit because your brain becomes desensitized to the awe after a few hours and yet theres still so much more to see.HIGHLY RECOMMEND you add the Living Gallery production to your bucket list.

Though it is closed for renovations right now, the museum and gallery is the best. Tons of work goes into each production. The productions are epic. So amazing.

I love the activities for kids at the BJU museum and gallery! They are always so well done, yet affordable. And I am quite impressed that they welcome children into the museum so freely. I highly recommend their programs!

The art work is amazing. The only reason why I gave the museum 3 stars are because they made me feel uncomfortable on campus. This school (suppose to be a Christian school) had some racial issues with black ppl. I am black woman whom was on campus wearing pants. Yep. Everyone was looking at me. The only color girl... i had to go there for an assignment.

Nice gallery, well kept with a great collection. Parking is a bit hard to find at first. First timers should ask the attendant at the main gate for specific directions when they arrive at BJU campus.
