This is a gorgeous hidden gem of Greenville! Ive photographed here over the years and I absolutely love it! Its kind of a small park, but it packs a mighty beautiful punch. Its decently quiet and has a beautiful waterfall and stream running through it. Its very well maintained as well!

The Rock Quarry Garden, located just off the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Downtown Greenville, South Carolina, is a hidden gem. Ot id nestled against the Ridgeland ar the Park Confos. I would have rated it five stars if not for its out of the way location. Very beautiful scenery, with a waterfall and lots of flora. Be sure to detour off the trail on your next walk or bike ride on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Well worth the stop!

Neat little park in the city. Water was low and slow. Best time to visit is after a good rain.

Though it was a hot day, the park was cool and the flowers beautiful. The park is small with lovely spots to sit and enjoy the day!

The very 1st step into this beautiful place, I felt @ peace. I actually call it my peaceful place when I refer to it or post about it. Any time we get a little break @ work (EMS) we go visit. Love it!

Spring is in full bloom at this garden, beautiful oasis tuck in between Greenville Downtown and the Swamp Rabbit trail.

My wife and I have had pictures taken here several times! Beautiful place, makes you forget you’re literally steps from Downtown Greenville.

I saw pictures and knew I had to stop and visit!This beautiful garden area is amazing! I cannot say enough great things about it.At the top of the waterfall there was a place for us to explore and play in the shallow water.Some of our group scaled down the side of the rocks to the bottom of the waterfall while the rest of us took the stairs.(Note: The beautiful rock stairs are great BUT be wise if you are short legged and knee injured like myself. The SPAN between the rock stairs DIFFERS from step to step and though they are VERY FIRM and NOT DANGEROUS, the space from one to the other was a little harder on just a few.)We got some amazing pictures as well!During our visit I saw a man practicing his skills of scaling the rocks with his remote controlled truck and another letting his dog enjoy the water and landscape while off leash and chasing a ball. There are so many great ways to use this beautiful area for relaxing and family fun!This is my first time visiting Greenville and I loved it! What a wonderful place to visit with my family.

Beautiful spot for serenity and reflection. Grass is soft and green. Peaceful water sounds. However, people need to stop littering and realize that there are garbage cans at either end of the garden. I spent at least ten minutes picking up other people’s trash. Also, saw a harmless water snake hiding in the rocks, just be careful if your kids are climbing around.

Beautiful park :-) We came here with our dog on her last day before she had to be put down. It was a lovely setting to take pictures and grieve. Would recommend for a special occasion or just a nice place to come and spend time together. Its a great place to make memories

Beautiful and well maintained but a bit treacherous. After two days of rain, everything was muddy and slick. Not a great place to take young children.

This is a great smaller park with beautiful landscaping, if you’re looking for a great spot in town with a waterfall and beautiful flowers for pictures definitely stop here!

Small but great location

Beautiful semi-hidden park. We often times go here to take family photos. No matter which way you face, there is usually a nice background — so it is an easy place to get pictures no matter what time of day.

Its nice and even though its a small park it is a hidden gem! Waterfall, rocks ( obviously),2 small grassy areas divided by a stream. Can get crowded easily and parking is near non-existent! ...Still though with the right timing and patience its worth checking out.

Exquisite mini botanical garden complete with waterfall, pond with Lily pads, and a little stone bridge. Perfect for a very sweet and low key proposal....and thats exactly what happened! The entire time we were there on a late Saturday afternoon from about 4-6pm, there was never more than a total of 8 people there. A very intimate park filled with loads of beauty. We plan to return for a picnic. I drove all the way from Charlotte NC and it was worth it.

Very clean and well-manicured grounds with a beautiful waterfall that flows into the quarry.

Great for prom and other pictures of that type. Just make sure to check the prom schedules of all the surrounding area schools. Last time we went. 4 area and other surrounding schools had prom the same night. Parking was an issue.

Very well-maintained Garden. Somewhat hidden. Its amazing to be able to walk down into this garden and forget that there is a busy City all around.

The fiance and Is favorite place... Weve been coming here for years and now have the opportunity to share it with our babies.

Great place for picnics or chilling out. I was in a wedding there once. It was gorgeous. You have to provide everything for events. No bathrooms.

Me and my friend went here and it was really pretty.

Went here last night after work for a sub dinner date. You would think that any place this close downtown would be noisy, crowded, and not well kept. The opposite was true. As you descend into the park, the road and condos on either side fall away and you are left in a mini-paradise. The park itself is exquisitely maintained and every bench and trashcan are designed to blend into the scenery. Near the waterfall is a carving into the rock that is designed to be a bench. We sat there and ate dinner. Totally quiet, only a few people walking through. So nice. Will definitely be returning here.

This garden is beautifully maintained by Greenville Parks & Rec. During the week it is usually a quite and peaceful place to visit.
