My family went here for the first time to play disc golf. The grass could use a mow but it wasnt too bad and overall the park seemed well kept. The disc golf course was designed well for a small space. It was only us and one other group so there were no issues but there are a few spots that can put you in the in harms way if the course is busy. These same areas also make for a couple of spots where its tricky to navigate. Just pay attention to the tee signs and numbers on the baskets and you can figure it out. Most of the holes were short so Id consider this a good beginner course or also good for more experienced players looking to get in a quick 9. We didnt use any of the other facilities at the park but everything seemed to be kept up. I did have one experience that concerned me though its no fault of the park itself. My teenage daughter was walking down the sidewalk back to the car while I was up at the top of the hill. An old beat up van started coming toward her on the road next to the sidewalk and was slowing. It looked sketchy so I told her to come up the hill with me, at which point the van did a U turn and drove away. Maybe it was nothing but watch out just in case. Well probably come back to this park again.

Its a wonderful little area to relax with a good balance of nature and human activity. It is open to all people almost anytime. The cleanliness is meticulous, so you have no fear for trash. It is also a great place to walk animals since it is grassy, and has a walkway all around it. It is a rather inviting place.

If you have children aged 5-12 years old, then you may wish to visit Holmes Park, located on Twin Oaks. The playground has had a fun makeover! There is a huge climbing apparatus for strength and dexterity movements. Two comfortable benches are nearby for those who are watching the children. The kids will enjoy the playground immensely.

Nice little place for some casual disc golf with friends. My girlfriend and I occasionally eno here in the big tree next to the playground. Wonderful little park. The bathrooms are amazingly sophisticated and clean for a park bathroom. Weve also used the tennis courts, which are quite good. Nice park!

It is not as popular as some of the other parks nearby, which makes it great for visiting when you dont want to be on a crowded playground. It also has a decent 9 hole disc golf course as well as 2 tennis courts and a softball/baseball field. There is one pavilion next to the ball field and a short walk from the playground.

A ball going foul will roll down hills quite a ways...but at least there are lights! Foul territory in the fences is very small.
