Great dog park with ample room. Just wish people would obey the signs. Dogs under 35 lbs belong in small dog pen. Dogs over 35 lbs belong in big dog pen. If your small dog is afraid of big dogs, use your common sense and keep it out of the big dog pen! The dog park is for the dogs to play and socialize not for peoples self gratification!

Conestee Dog Park is located in Conestee Park and adjacent to the Lake Conestee Nature Preserve in between Greenville and Mauldin, South Carolina. It is two parks in one, with one side for larger dogs and the other for their smaller brethren. There is ample room for them to run and get exercise. The also have disposal bags and trash cans available. The park has public restrooms for their human friends. If the dogs are completely worn out, take them for a walk on one of tbe many trails in the park.

Best dog park in the Upstate. Maybe the best in the entire state of South Carolina ?Plenty of parking.Easy to take dogs in and out.Plenty of water outlets and drinking fountains.Dog owners are very aware not to bring violent animals. Never seen any fights. There are two areas. One for smaller dogs and one for large. There are human bathrooms, too.Highly recommend. It’s a real gem.

Nice area and theres water available for the doggos along with a couple benches to have a seat while you watch the dogs play. The reason I give it only three stars is that its mostly dirt which is fine if its dry. If its wet, its just going to be a giant mud pie.

Great area for your dog to roam leash free. Ive been going there every weekend over the past month. Ive only seen one dog fight which was quickly broken up by the owners. Most owners keep a watchful eye on their dogs. It would be nice to have a few more benches. Ive heard others mention they would like grassy areas, but I can see how that would be difficult to maintain. Overall, its a terrific place to socialize and exercise your pet.

This is the best local dog park so far that we have seen since living in Greenville. It is in a location somewhat close for us so it makes it even better. There is a 25 lbs. And up section and a 25 lbs and below side. Because it is so popular, it brings all I.Q. levels and walks of life. Be warned and prepared when going here. Lots of parents dont read posted signs. Signs that say no children under 10. People bring in freaking babies and toddlers and get mad when dogs are being dogs. Sorry this is my dogs playground not your kids. Also, some idiots bring obviously aggressive dogs and dont do anything to hinder the pets from attacking others... some people are banned from this park, but theyre idiots and still go.

Love this dog park!! People generally clean up after their dog pretty well. There are shaded areas and benches so the heat doesnt get to you or your pup. Many friendly people to chat with. Be aware that some new dog owners try this park out because its popular, but they dont fully understand how to introduce socialization to their dogs. Although their intentions are good and this park is wonderful, this sometimes ends in a dog fight. Just keep an eye out to make sure your pup is safe!

I give it three stars because our dog absolutely loves it here but people tend to bring their aggressive dogs to this park and cause others dogs to get hurt. Our dog got a big scratch down his nose and a chunk out of his eyebrow. Then as we were leaving another dog got hurt. People shouldn’t bring their aggressive dogs to a dog park where other dogs are controlled and behaved.

First time here and new to the area. There are 2 sides to the dog park. One side is for smaller dogs, but most people use the left(larger) side. We chose to use the right side and let our dog adjust to the others from across the fence to see if there would be any aggressive ones, thankfully there were not. About halfway through our visit a woman was walking her large dog to the gate and several dogs did NOT like him. So, instead of bringing him inside She politely turned around and took it for a walk around the park. Very cool people and dogs. They DO have water and bags available for poop disposal.

I visited the large dog side of the park. Plenty of room to run and play. Maybe need to consider a few more benches torwards the upper part of the park. It gets quite crowded when 12 dogs show up, but still room to roam. I wouldnt bring your own toy unless its okay to lose it. On a busy day its hard to keep of your own pooch running around, let alone a toy! Theres also another section fenced off next to the park for smaller dogs. The dogs ignore each other in each park which is nice so you dont have a battle along the fence. Best of all, Greenville puts a hose outside! Lets you wash the paws off, and refill the water bowls. Great touch.
