Very easy to find off Airport Rd Ext. Free to enter but contributions are appreciated. Gift shop when u enter, museum through the door to the back room. Everything from Revolutionary War to Vietnam. Jeeps, half-tracks, radio equipment and models all on display. Docent was very kind, knowledgeable and friendly. A must for every veteran, historian or anyone curious about military history.
Good small military museum, my eldest grandsons and my nephew enjoyed dressing up in military garb and posing in the jeep with rifles
I love this little building that holds a little bit of History on the military from the past. The folks there are super friendly, made my drop in well worth it.
Visiting the museum brought back a lot of memories I had from serving in the National Guard. The museum staff was very nice and knowledgeable.
It was very hot because the AC wasnt working. Other than that very interesting!
So impressive! A precious collection of artifacts in such a hidden place. We were suprised. The tour guides were so knowledgeable and informative which made it more interesting.
Great idea, but trying to find out when they are open is futile. Looks like well meaning persons with no idea what they are doing is running it. Sad, because it is a great idea. I have quite a number of WWII airplane models that would probably add a great deal, but I’m not willing to entrust them to a place that might fold. I got burned after giving over $600 to the Model Trains museum.
Very neat little museum - awesome to spend some time at the playground and then stop here.
Museum is open on the weekends from 12-4. It is currently in the early stages, with a very well priced gift shop, with many donations making their way in for display. At the time of this review, it is free to enter for the month of March, however I recommend donating or purchasing an MRE for $5 at their giftshop to help support them!
Great great great
Museum is not open yet, sign indicates fundraising goal has been met and it appears renovations to the building are underway.
