Nice little park. Roads could use some maintenance. The river vista is always fascinating. Disc golf course is not well maintained, but is fun to play

Great park great view of Mississippi river and all the tow boats and barges. Washington county needs to do a little work on it to make it better like number the sites. Get a camp host to help the man running the CG he works hard. Like answering the phone, picking up trash leading ppl to there sites. Fix some of the sewer sites make them bigger there little crappy sites. Ask some questions of a full time traveling rver like me. There is plenty of ppl who would volenter here

Port City Beauty - hidden on the backside of the citys levee system within the refuge; this park is rich with history about the citys early beginnings, such as the great flood of 1927 when the ole girl (the Mississippi River) overflowed her banks and part of the city was lost to her forever. She left behind this mixture of trees, different species of birds, and forest critters and fish to enjoy life along her banks. The park has outdoor grills, ATV paths, pavilions for gatherings, a boardwalk along the rivers edge, and RV camping to name a few amenities. It is used for various annual outdoor events that draws people from across the Mid-South. The city serves a key river port that serves the craft traffic traversing waterways. One this fall day you could enjoy the beauty created by the various hues of leaves fluttering by as the wind blows. A trip up the tower allows you to see as far along the river, along the city banks and across to the neighboring states forestry. It is beauty and functionality all-in-one...

Mighty Mississippi Music Festival was a blast last year. Nothing like the delta blues on the banks of the Mississippi. Awesome park.
