I have been taking my brood of grandkids to Briggs since 2010. Love the pool in the summer. The playground received a major upgrade ..... Sadly the merry go round is gone... but the climbing ropes and things they added make up for it.

Great GR pool. Always clean and safe. My kids and their guests/friends enjoy spending time here every summer. Thanks to a gracious donor the cost is very affordable for our family.

We went to the pool there, which was very well taken care of. The life guards were all extremely courteous and helpful. They caught the little ones coming off from the slide which was extremely amazing to me. Most places just ban little kids from enjoying things like that. My daughter 6 and my nephew 5 who are still quite small had so much fun going down. A huge thank you to all for putting such a system in place.

There is a wide variety of features at this local park. Its a great public space even though they restricted one of the features I loved most about it. Their fenced sports field and track was recently posted to not allow dogs. It was a great place to throw a ball or otherwise allow somewhat restricted off leash time. I still use the track for measuring sprints and the sports field for practicing disc golf drives.Features:* Track* Sports Field* Playground* Swimming Pool* Tennis Court* Basketball Court

Decent park, with a pool, playground, and a football field. The field is what my rating is for. Theres holes, the ground is soft, and the field is uneven. Seems a little risky to play on without asking for a twisted ankle or worse. The grass needs to be cut. All in all, a little attention and it could be a decent field to play on but until that, be aware.

This pool is very nice and includes two diving boards (1meter and 1/2 meter), a big water slide, and a fountain. Briggs also has a very nice playground and track. To enter the pool it only costs 1 dollar for kids and 2 dollars for adults!!! It is a nice pool and it welcomes everyone despite where they live. The lifeguards are also very friendly and well trained so you will be able to trust them with ... well ... Your LIFE! The pool is open everyday so you can swim when your schedule allows!

A quiet park under old oak trees is great for kids and parents alike. During the summer the pool is open and the track is filled with a variety of sports teams. The only downside is no public restrooms.

Nice place to take children. Right in the middle of all that city cluster and you wouldnt even know. Pool prices arent bad. Only problem I could see, a young boy riding a bicycle couldnt find a restroom to use and he really needed to go.

Gr

Reading the reviews about care takers being an arms length away from the kids brings forward some questions. Eight kids, how does a parent or guardian do it? Having a party of 12, we decided on Millennium Park instead. High numbers of webscaping reviews for a family experience leads one to wonder . . . While appropriate care of children is a priority, a pool is for swimming. Six or eight bodies all connected does not support water safety or use-ability for other patrons in a small, containerized space. While once an A number 1 summer destination in years past, this year offers more expansive opportunities in different locations.

Great park, great staff clean staff could pay a little more attention to the rowdy kids with no parents or they can do a age check on the kids at the door if they dont meet the 16 year old requirement they need to get a parent that cares to be there with them but over all grew up there now take my kids.

Very safe lots of employees. Lotsof rules. They make you get out every 30. Mins so they can rotate. They tell you no outside food..then you goto concession and their closed.. Now you have hungry kids.what a joke. Their rules are not updated on websites . you find out when you get to the door. Cant even use snorkels. Or any balls for kids to play with. .kinda a joke. But kids had fun and its cheap

Sa
Review №82

Great pool and park but they do not allow ANY flotation device period! That even includes life jackets. Their reasoning is they feel parents/ guardians wont pay attention to their children. I understand the concept but for individuals who need one (such as my niece and nephew who cant swim very well and have felt with a prior drowning accident in the family) they are necessary for any water play in pools and bodys of water along with price of mind for our family. Truly saddens/frusturates me. Bumbed we couldnt enjoy the pool park.
