Great family oriented park. Playground isnt the cleanest, but neither are my children... Splash pad is fun and the kids love it. Playground has lots of fun things for kids off all ages, even some good old school equipment. Bring some frisbees as well because theres some great open space as well. Tables and large trees nice for lunch too.

What an awesome little park with a splash pad, great playground, tennis courts, basketball court, and place to hammock! Great getaway in the middle of the city!

Great playground for kids and it also has a bike repair station. My only complaint is that the middle section is wide open with no tree coverage and seating is fairly limited to certain spots in the park.

Perfect neighborhood park with a variety of terrain to explore, a great playground, splash pad, tennis courts and woods with a stream running through them. Bonus bike jumps if you can find em!

Fun for the whole family, in a peaceful area of town with nice partly wooded walks. Lots of sun and shade. From sports, sunbathing, kite flying, cooking out, park walks, hammocks, dogs, live music, and even wedding photography. The heart of east town breeds artists of all kinds. And this is only one of many great places in east Grand Rapids. Find your places and save them

Nice little neighborhood park. Play equipment is pretty standard. Plenty of open space. Restrooms are ok. The only down side was the country karaoke blasting from Brienne and Taylors wedding reception (which, yes, was exactly as bad as you just imagined!) but thats likely to be a one-time problem. ;)

Its not luxurious, its not overly dirty, and if there is no event going on its not too populated. The location is poor, there is no good parking, and just had an old run of the mill type of atmosphere. Its not somewhere I would want to go by choice.

This is a pretty great park. The traffic that drives close to the park is in a slow speed zone and people seem conscience that they are driving close by a place where lots of kids are running around. The playground equipment was super fun for our little daughter who was having a blast at this park. We had a nice little picnic here and it was a great little haven in an area heavy on buildings but not so much on trees and nature. This is a wonderful little stop.

Didnt seem to have a pool (it was late though and mightve been closed; and it did have water spouts). Had everything else, though, even a water fountain that included one for your dog or for your water bottle. Theres a big geometric rope-and-metal climbing structure, and Im quite Nervous about the idea of children using it.
