Nice park,. Fields where nice for the games. Grass was fully covered them. No big divots nice and flat. Nice restrooms. For the amount of games I did have to walk a bit.

I really enjoyed my walk around discovery Park. It was a bonus having a full moon to admirer as I walked. You can walk around the entire park or you could walk along the lakes as well. They have volleyball, basketball, several fields, patios to gather for birthday party’s . Watching the ducks on the lake is always enjoyable too.

This park is a great place to bring your family or a large group. There are several fields, ponds with ducks, a playground and sand volleyball courts. Theres plenty of space to play and take a walk. There areas also ramadas that you can reserve. Its a beautiful park!

Great open park. The playground area is small, and near a pond, so if you have kids you need to keep a close eye on them. Great for sports, picnics, gatherings.

Never too crowded.Best place to feed ducks.Very clean.Sweet fishing spot.

This is a big dessert park with a fishing lake. They have done a great job making it feel natural.

Always clean park. Nice atmosphere, and has 3 ponds to fish from. Plus its close to home.

I Love working out here. I run, jog, and do lunges. It has an area where people can fish also. Friendly people there.

100 degrees at 7pm didnt feel like 100. Dog loved the stillness & tranquility. So did his momma. Great little spot to get some peace.

Great, it was cooler with people exercising, walking and running. There were many birds in the ponds to see as I was walking my chihuhua

I went to go running here and it was such a great experience. The ducks were lovely to watch and there was a beautiful sunset. This is also a good place to relax with your family on a picnic or do any physical activities on the fields.

Its a cool little park that has a Az Game And Fish department stocked pond. The have basketball courts, fields, restrooms and grills.

Clean and well maintained.

Huge and well maintained park. Super bright flood lights on all the fields within the park. Park employees are continuous traveling around the fields and emptying garbage bins. Nice maintained walking track around the park.

Great place to visit. They have nets for volleyball, hoops for basketball and lots of lakes for bird watching.

This park has so many different things to do. Plus it actually has some hills and elevation changes, Gilbert is pretty flat in general. People even fish in the water feature. Nice facilities with shade for picnics and plenty of fields for soccer etc.

Great Park. Running, Walking, Scooters, Skateboarding, Volleyball, Basketball. Has restrooms. Sometimes soccer leagues.

Although very crowded for soccer games I went for the walking trail. Mostly flat gravel path, with some hills.

Beautiful ponds and walking trails.

It is just so beautiful!! A most while having visits. Enormous for a hike and conversations :) you can also sit and watch a sunset on the top near the houses. The view is just a dream. You can watch animals and also the two colors of the water meeting at that point. Great for pictures at the tree. Hikers and runners all along with good vibes. Be aware parking is at the opposite point of the lighthouse. Parking there is just for workers and it is very limited. There are no restrooms there but very near going back uphill. In winter, easy to find but in summer, vegetation grows. Look for the sign ;)

I love Discovery Park! It is a nice quiet place to go usually and our dog loves going there with us and getting to play games with us in the open field area below the outer path!He and we also love going to see the ducks!

It is so big and beautiful. Very relaxing.

Initially this park was busy but it has calmed down since opening. There is so much to do for a vast array of ages and abilities! It is a modern up to date park with solar benches to charge your phones and dyson hand dryers! Very clean and entertaining! There is not a lot of shade if you’re just watching your kids and sitting there so be prepared with hats or sun umbrellas.

Discovery Park is an unexpected find on the outskirts of they quiet town of Safford, Arizona. The grounds are beautifully landscaped so its a pleasure just to go there and walk around. They have facilities for groups of various sizes so you can bring a small group or plan the entire family reunion. Their observatory boasts the ability to climb up to view or watch in air-conditioned comfort from a comfortable room below. They have a museum of native pottery and information. And they have a shuttle ride that is much the same as weve enjoyed at Epcot Center. Its a great place to spend a few minutes or a few hours at any time of the year.

We had a nice picnic here and fed the ducks, watched people fishing, got some sun, then we did the swing set for a while. Overall a great place for a weekend activity, and free!

One of my top 10 parks to go to for nice relaxing walks, walking with the family and dog, hanging out with friends at the courts, to even just skating around on a skateboard with their very long ramp! Cant wait to go again soon.

Lovely park! Loved the duck pond, and the expansive facilities. This seemed like an active area with lots of teams taking advantage of great resources.

It feels like you in paradise. Beatiful water falls two of them so pretty and relaxing! Also there was fishing nice place.

For sure a go to spot for birthday parties, family outings and/or sports related activities. Excellent surroundings, conveniently close to San Tan Village Mall.

Very relaxing and peaceful making it feel like a safe place to unwind. The pond is nice and feeding the ducks is a good stress reducer. The whole park is kept up very nicely!

Visited this park for the first time today on a whim. It was very pleasant, kids and parents playing without technology, skateboarders teaching others, a pick up volleyball game. Everyone was very friendly, speaking to strangers and joining together. Not something we see very often.

Usually really busy. Wish the backboards on the basketball hoops had the bigger updated rims. Nice court though. Ok lighting

Excellent place to have a post Temple marriage luncheon, its just across the street from the temple. The large Ramada had room for 35+ people to sit at the 9 long picnic tables. Nice ponds and well kept grounds. Very reasonable price.

Great place with plenty of areas for all ages. The have ponds you can fish in. They have multiple fields for all kinds of sports. They have alot of shaded gazebos for BBQs. They have a volleyball area, a basketball court, a playground, public bathrooms, plenty of lighting for all times of the day, plenty of regularly cleaned wast bins and plenty of parking. They have plenty of walk ways. Seen people flying rc planes there, playing all kinds of sports, riding bikes, skateboards, scooters, walking their dogs, fishing, family events and just having a good time.

Fields are great for the kids sports. Well taken care of. Also cooler down low in the AZ spring and summers. Great place to take a walk around the ponds. I have seen people fishing although dont know how good the fishing is.

Jennifers bootcamp was absolutely amazing. The other members are friendly and inviting, the workouts push you, and Jennifer knows what shes doing.

Pretty gorgeous park, amenities are well stocked, however it would do well for the duck poo to be cleaned more regularly lol.

This is a nice park for a walk, it does not have childrens play equipment, only a set of swings.

The geese population is a little outta hand. Good place to take the kids if they want feed water fowl. Not good if youre trying to fish...

Great park with various sports capabilities (such as basketball courts, volleyball area, etc.), a playground for kids & areas to fish (provided you have a fishing license). A smaller park feel and enjoyable to get some exercise or just a casual stroll.
