Loved my stay here. Went for the Thanksgiving holiday to see my family and it was wonderful. Right on the beach and the pool was nice. Service was amazing and staff was super friendly. Our suite was clean and had everything we needed. Really loved the view and the fact that we could hear the waves if we left the balcony door open. Id definitely recommend it to others and would definitely go back ^_^

Appears to be freshly redone inside. Very nice paint, great smelling rooms! Everything feels very fresh and new. The view is fantastic. Staff is very helpful. Clients are very relaxed , and health and safety standards are being very well practiced. Can not wait to come back again!

The overall stay was great! The staff accompanied my family and I with such attentiveness. The pool was clean and pool furniture were sanitized very often. The beach was a walk away which was very convenient. The rooms were very clean and exceptional and had everything we needed to make our stay even better and comfortable. We had an awesome stay at Holiday Inn Club Vacations and look forward to visiting again!

Weve stayed at Holiday Inn Beach Resort located at 11743 Termini-San Luis Pass Road, Galveston Texas multiple times. Its a great location with youre own private beach. Theres also covered parking if you get there early enough. Going to main beach area on the Seawall may take a bot 7-10 minutes depending on traffic. The people on the beach is mainly people staying in the hotel. Theres a restaurant right behind the hotel called Tipsy Turtle Bar and Grill. There is plenty of outdoor seating where u can eat and gaze out at the Beach. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We rented a one bedroom villa which was like a mini apartment. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, silverware, detergent etc. The room was clean and roomy. Our patio view of the beach was amazing. The only problem was the darn mosquitos. They were bad everywhere we went even in the day time. I think that last storm blew them in, but that didnt prevent us from getting out and enjoying the beautiful weather. Holiday Inn Beach Resort us definitely a great place to stay. So if youre in Galveston Texas check out Holiday Inn Beach Resort. You wont be disappointed.

My visit at the HOLIDAY INN CLUB was PEACEFUL, I witness a FRIENDLY STAFF, i witness a BEAUTIFUL VIEW.My room was spotless and well sanitize. My son enjoyed the basketball court and the volleyball net thats right on the property. My husband enjoyed using the barbecue grill, as I enjoyed the beautiful scene from the pool. In our room we sat comfortably on the balcony with the veiw of the beach...its was awesome.Holiday INN Club i give ***** a 5 star.

The staff was really nice. Its like having your own little apartment. The beach in this area is really nice too. The sand was so fluffy! The water was really nice. The hot tub was amazing. You have your own washer and dryer that you share with just one other room but its super convenient.

I liked they are taking all the precautions to keep their guests safe. The rooms have a seal in the front door so you know nobody else enter the room after they sanitized it. The swimming pool area is not super big so be sure to be there as soon as they open it. I loved the beach and we spent most of they time there. Another plus my room had a great view of the beach.

The location is perfectly on the beach! Additionally, the rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. Lots of parking, but limited covered parking, but if you get a spot, it’s great! This is our favorite place to stay in Galveston - it’s far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the sea wall area, but close enough for a short drive to great places to eat like The Spot. We love not having to cross a street to get to the beach.

Very nice place, we had a 1 bedroom villa. To my amazement it was very cute and cozy. The only drawback was the bed, the mattress was uncomfortable the first might be it known that others have slept here also and there is wear/tear. The people in the check in was soooooo nice and friendly. That alone speaks volumes. Enjoying my stay, still here. My birthday gift to myself

Quiet and right on the beach. The pool/hot tub were nice and the view from our room was exceptional. The location is only a few minutes from downtown so you dont have to worry about much. The unit we were in had a full kitchen, a washer and dryer and was very spacious. The staff was super friendly and expedient in attending any needs we had.

Check in was difficult to find at first but the resort is beautiful. Close to town, walking ramp directly to the beach, beautiful pool, fitness center and washer and dryer. Beautiful views of the island and Gulf. Definitely recommend this place for a long trip or a quick weekend getaway. Bring your beach chair and umbrella. Grills on site.

Very clean and followed wearing mask rules for check in and all interactions with staff. They upgraded us at no extra charge to a 1BR with separate living full kitchen area and larger balcony. Very beautiful pool that was well shaded and very easy access to beach. Extra outdoor amenities like picnic tables, charcoal grill, volleyball court and basketball half court. Some covered parking and parking lot well lighted. Mostly good ocean views. Only downside was fairly loud traffic noise when on balcony, but much quieter inside.

My husband and I pay a monthly ownership fee to be Holiday Inn Cub vacations . IHG is a Holiday Inn family to that. I was only able to book a standard room. At the time I wasn’t to concerned because the other time we stayed here our standard room was a 1 bedroom open floor plan with plenty of room facing the pool

It would have been a nice getaway! We only stayed for 1 night and the evening we checked in, I realized that I left my purple stainless steel insulated mug at the reception. No biggie, Ill just pick it up when we check out. The lady that was there when I checked in wasnt there when I inquired about it the next day. The young man knew exactly what I was talking about and looked all over for it. When he didnt find it, he phoned the lady who checked us in. She said Oh, someone picked it up. Well, I was there with 1 person and she with me the entire trip. Also, how would a random person even know about my mug to ask for it? The mug was a gift from my son so it mattered to me but the bigger issue I had is theres someone whos dishonest working the front desk!

Beautiful hotel/condo complex with easy beach access down boardwalk. Large pool that was exceptionally clean. Very spacious room with comfortable King size bed and sofa sleeper had extra mattress topper and nice linens. Kitchen was fully equipped with full size coffee pot (including coffee packets), teapot, pots/pans, dishes, glassware, silverware. (included small disposable salt/pepper, plus dish soap

I love the location and the service. This was my second visit to this property. I was extremely disappointed in fleas or something worse in the bedroom. I was offered to get the room exterminated during my stay. No thanks! I wasn’t offered a different room or discount. I will be cautious when booking a hotel next time.

Came here for a much needed vacation. I have stayed here before, but had a really nice room on this trip. Hope to come back again soon. Staff was pleasant as well.

I appreciate Sandy and Abigail! They made sure our stay was the best!! Very friendly and overall just awesome!! They work hard at making sure everyone is taken care of. One think I would like to mention is an extended walkway to the beach would be great! If that can’t be then wider clear trails. I did notice that you took my advice and added the mirrors. Thank you!

We did not have the best check in experience. We were assigned a dirty room that also had maintenance issues. We hate that this happened, but since we had a late Check-in we knew that security could not move us. I want to mention that SANDY, CHRISTIAN, JAYCE and SHELEY were all wonderful to deal with. Even though Sandy knew we didn’t want to move, she was beyond polite and apologetic that we even had to deal with that. She asked my wife if she could please take care of it and even showed her the new room. The new room was so much better. I still think the resort could better maintain the little things such as the towel rack which simply broke off with a towel on it. Housekeeping is a big issue still and there were still areas in the new room that could have been better taken care of. We didn’t want to complain about the issues anymore because we just wanted to enjoy our time together. The pool had some issues being properly heated, but Christian and Maintenance took care of it and 11/19 the pool felt wonderful. GUESTS need to remember to speak up so things can be addressed. The beds were terribly uncomfortable. If those were updated, come on HOLIDAY INN CLUB VACATIONS. These mattresses are terrible. Can you not at least put a good pillow-top? We will be staying in signature room soon, but all rooms deserve a good bed. So many people would this swim in the pool because it was said to be cold or they got out quickly. Overall, we have really enjoyed ourselves here. Overlooking the ocean was so relaxing.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The staff was very friendly andhelpful. We had a deluxe one bedroom which was perfect for my family of 3. The room was updated and nicely modeled. We had an oceanside view. The pool was amazing. It wasnt overly crowded. I was able to put my 6 foot tuscan floatie in. the beach was very well maintained. Also, the location is excellent! This place has now been named as my go to sweet spot. I cant wait to plan another trip !

We really enjoy staying at this resort time and time again. It’s one of our favorite resorts. We really like the location and all the hospitality. Sandy is awesome and we really enjoy chatting with her.

Thank you front desk (Abagail?)! I checked in and was told to circle back closer to the 4pm check in time. I received a gmail that the room was ready. I returned to the front desk to check in. The room had an issue that was identified and was being looked into. Turns out room could not be remedied. Abagail provides a quick solution and I checked in timely. I was provided the emergency S.O. room. It worked out great and my family enjoyed it. Thank you! Looking forward to our next stay there .

This resort was amazing, from the clean rooms, to the sanitized stations at every door or elevator. The staff was beyond helpful, and my family absolutely loved all the amenities. We will be visiting again very soon as Galveston is out second home!! Check out our view from our balcony.

Leaving anyplace at -11 to arrive at 55 degrees is wonderful. Galveston is a rather sleepy location in mid February, much to our liking. We chose this location because it is away from the busy city center and is one of a very few locations ACTUALLY ON THE BEACH. We met Stacy at check in who is very helpful and friendly, as most locals are. We are not coastal people but enjoy good fresh sea food, and we met Sandy (another bubbly local) the next day who had her own favorite restaurants she shared with us. Her recommendations did not disappoint as we enjoyed days of great sea food in Galveston. Being tourists from another state, we were not up to speed on all the roadway mysteries associated with coastal travel. However we met Shelley at the front desk who hastily set us straight with great directions and helpful tips on how to get where we needed to go. This Holiday Inn experience has been great, with a clean and healthy environment. The pool and hot tub all functioned well with good chemical balance. Beach access was unbeatable and calm. The Holiday Inn SSS ladies were terrific in making our experience worth repeating.

Signature Suite is Great! Great staff and attentive service. They really provided an A+ experience! We will be back in a month for another extended weekend in Signature!

Although the room was a little expensive we had a great weekend trip. Hospitality was great rooms were cleaned and sealed when we got there. Loved the beach access and the pool. Overall a great place to relax

Our stay started out bumpy as it was the third day being reopened after Covid-19. The house cleaning crew was under staffed, which caused check time to be pushed back. The staff was great during this time.After that everything was awesome and very relaxing. With the beach right there we were able to take walks or sit on the beach and social distance, as the beach was not crowded. We were even able to social distance at the pool.

This property was average. The set up of the room is not desirable at all. The couch/bed is in the kitchen. I will not choose this property again. The overall location of the property was nice. The restraunt on the property had no food on a Sat. night. Beach access was nice but overall will not choose this property again.

Great staff. Liked outdoor water faucet to rinse off after beach; able to jump right into pool. Balconies all face pool and can keep eye on family when split due to interest level. Like small entry/hallway between main A unit and smaller B unit. Both units lock but so does hallway door. Able to move easily from unit to unit while also providing safety and privacy. Great set-up. Pool set up also worked well. Shuffleboard and basketball areas were big hits with family. Downside: driving to other location for putt putt and grill.

I stayed here for a week in January 2020. We got married and had our honeymoon here. We had a fabulous suite with a living room and full kitchen. Swimming pool and hot tub. Exercise room. I highly recommend.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with a view of the ocean. It was amazing. The beds were SO comfortable with plenty of pillows. Each room had a door to the balcony. Spacious kitchen with laundry area and living room. I would most definitely stay at the specific hotel again. You are a bit away from the main drag of restaurants, but you are only a few miles away. The pool and hot tub were the perfect temperature too. Everyone there made sure we got what we needed and were super friendly.

Great service, nice room. Sufficient amenities. The bed is literally a brick. Cheapest available mobile home-sized toilet fixture plugs easily and stays plugged. Consider switching coffee pot to Keurig pod style. Loved the free laundry machines. Neighbors sounded like they were in the room with us.

This is a nice resort that is a bit out of town, so if your looking for beach front access that wont be too crowded this is the resort to choose.

This is our favorite hotel in Galveston. We have tried other hotels and we were disappointed. In fact, during this stay, we checked into another hotel, were disgusted, checked out and was able to check in to this property. Our family trip was saved!

We love this resort for our beach vacations. We got a room with a view of the ocean this time and that just made the vacation perfect for me and the wife.

You guys need to upgrade your wifi offering to your customers. Out of all the hotels and resorts Ive been to, this has to be one of the worst wifi offerings ever. Ive tried connecting from various ranges of times from 10AM-2AM and the wifi is never consistent or available.On other note, the facilities, rooms & staff were great. Super nice location.

Loved staying at this IHG Resort on Galveston Island. It is located on the sand with very easy walking access to the beach. The room was comfortable, even the sofa bed. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Loved having a balcony with a Gulf view.

Property is right on the beach. You had to listen to a time share bit to get your parking pass - really? The hotel is 5 miles from town. Who else is going to park there? This photo matches the property, but when I booked the pictures were of the downtown hotel with a restaurant and bar. Our tiny balcony overlooked a swap with a side view of the gulf. The hot tub was barely warm the first night but did get warmer the second night. If you want hotel convenience, you have to pay extra for someone to come in and change your towels, etc. The room was clean an quiet and the staff were very friendly.

I and my hisband have been coming back for six years. The suites allow meal prep, so if want to arrive and just plant hourself, bring your own food and you dont need to ever leave the property. We love this place.

We loved the room and the beach access. Although the beach walkway should have a ramp on the opposite side of the stairs, for wagons and coolers access. Checkin was horrible, plan to be there a few hours ahead of time so you can actually get into your room at 4pm instead of 9pm

The rooms are a bit oldervlooking on the inside and out but overall nice. even having to deal with the saltwater year-round. The pool is alright, fairly small in comparison to the neighboring resorts and timeshares. Staff is friendly. Would recommend to friends,family and strangers alike and will definitely be back.

Terrible service got double charged for room. Restroom was filthy! No one came to clean room. Had to call 3x to get someone to clean our room and get fresh towels. The pool and jacuzzi were nasty needed cleaning. Let management know there was spit and snots in pool and they did nothing about it. Smh

This was my second stay at this property in the past 4 years. I was pleased to find out some upgrades/updates in the property and quality has been maintained.

Me and my husband have been staying at this hotel since 2014. There is a reason why we always stay here. It’s a beautiful location with easy access to the beach. The staff is always nice and helpful. The rooms are always clean and has everything you need for a great stay. We highly recommend this location

The property is in a fantastic location! We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the ocean!. It is easy to walk out to the beach for a stroll. I liked being out of the city in a quieter area. Unfortunately we had to call maintenance twice. Once because our dishwasher kept beeping

Very tiny. Sheets were dirty and stained. Couch sleeper was more uncomfortable than a cot or floor. Couldn’t find front desk which was on 1st floor. Kitchen Very small and Very close to living room. NOTHING like the pictures online. I couldn’t believe how deceiving they were. Also no room service. The place is under construction so maybe in the way future 1 or 2 things might improve but not the rooms.

You get what you pay for. Other Holiday Inns at Galveston are less expensive but this one offers more. The beach is a few steps away and you dont have to cross the road to get there. The pool and rooms are clean. The staff is friendly and efficient. The rooms are 1- or 2-bedroom suites that include a full kitchen. This place is away from the main Galveston Seawall tourist area but only a short drive to take advantage of Seawall amenities.

Friendly staff. Beautiful location. Older rooms have maintenance issues which prevents me from a 5 star rating. Staff very responsive to our concerns once they realized how frustrated we were. All in all we had a great time.

Overall we love the location of the facility and the price is good. The downside is prior to arriving we can not pick our room location bc we are not members. We were told at the guest we are “Gold Status” but we have no idea what that gives us. We do not wish to become members and there are plenty of other places to stay in Galveston where we can pick our room location. For clarification when we made our reservations we were able to let them know the room location we wanted. On our arrival (after driving 5 hours) is when we learned it was based on availability. Luckily the next day we were able to change rooms.

The check in was quick , the directions to our room was very clear, absolutely no problem with parking . The room was very spacious , very cozy, very clean . The only issue with the room were faucets. They whistled loudly at every use, the sinks in kitchen and bathroom , the toilet even whistled when flushed, but im sure its brought to their attention. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I didnt have any ice at the time of arrival but was givin ice from the front desk. Very convenient. My over all stay was completely great and reccomend this hotel for leisure most of all. The location is more private but convenient for a getaway. Also next door is a bar and grill .

My Husband and I stayed for several days on our anniversary. The unit was exactly like the photos. It was very clean and had all the comforts of home. Each unit has a Beach view which was wonderful. I will definitely be back.

Nice getaway for a couple of days. We couldnt use the resort to its full potential with Mr. Covid around but it was relaxing non the less. Its nice having place to go thats not too far from home.

Overall this hotel/condo style room was good. There was plenty of clean towels in the bathroom. The room was very clean upon check in and even had a kitchenette. Although we were not there long enough to use it, the kitchen looked fully operational. The room had a small balcony view that allowed us to see the ocean which was a nice site each morning. Overall this room was good and would be a good place to stay during the beach season.

We do not hate it, but we had to deal with a refrigerator & freezer that did not work in the guest unit. They would not replace it!

My family of 4 stayed in a suite with a king size bed and a sofa bed. Everyone slept well and the suite was clean and cozy. All amenities were available to us in our room (washer/dryer, fridge, dish washer, stove/oven, microwave, etc...) allowing us to fully utilize the space as our own. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our balcony and loved the fact that the resort has direct access to the beach. My husband and kids cant wait to go back!

I ran away for a 5 day break to relax and recharge. I was greeted warmly by a very friendly staff. They took great care of me and made me feel welcomed. My room was even better than I thought it would be. It was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable, kitchen was great, and the view was amazing. I loved having a washer/dryer in the room. The main reason that I picked this hotel is because of the beach access and the cleanliness of the hotel.I highly recommend staying here. I will definitely be staying here the next time I’m in Galveston.

My first time in Galveston. Wife and daughter had been there once before. This hotel didn’t look the best but it’s proximity to the beach along with the pool and hot tub, was amazing. We were blessed with a room on the fourth floor with a beach view. We let the waves put us to sleep at night and we were never bored with the views. Getting charged a security deposit was a huge negative for me and the fact the hotel didn’t have any extra measures in place due to the current virus outbreak was kind of disappointing. Also, the fact that it took 3 hours to dry a load of clothes was just stupid. I’d stay here again.

The hotel is very old. The room was smelly. The bathroomwas updated. The mattress in the sofa bed was full of stains. The kitchenette is useful and the location is great. Unfortunately everything else is not that good. We asked for another blanket, and housekeeping said they ram out. Nobody came to change our towels and one night the water wasn’t hot. You can hear your neighbors and the washer and dryer.

Great resort. Family loved it. Big pool and right on the water. Lots of entertainment options around and time to spend on the beach. Beach was very clean and they install beach umbrellas daily to rent. You just need to bring your drinks to the water

First off, this property has a great location and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and answered any questions we had! When we got to the room it DEFINITELY seemed like someone probably had not stayed there in awhile. There were dust bunnies along the floors. The website states the facility is going through renovations currently, which by the room we stayed in are much needed. It was slightly outdated. The first issue we had was the bathroom sink drained at a completely inoperable speed. We found this out pretty late at night so we called first thing next morning after arrival. They promptly sent a repairman up and he quickly fixed it for us. Then, when I went to take a shower I noticed mold all over in the shower. Also, the shower door didnt completely seal so water would get on the floor outside the shower. At some point water also backs up into the tub and the tub wouldnt drain well either. We also noticed in the dishwasher there was lots of food pieces left in the drain. I was extremely disappointed with the state of the room which is completely out of staffs hands. They have a game room which my significant other and I played some air hockey and rented a free movie and the small store is super convienent inside the hotel.

Great place to stay in Galveston. They offer a one bedroom, with kitchenette, sofa bed, and queen size bed in the bedroom. A one bedroom Deluxe, with full kitchen, king size bed, sofa bed in the living room, and much bigger than the regular one bedroom. They also have a 2 bedroom with full kitchen, a king bed in the master with it own bathroom, there is a queen bed in the second bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room. Last option is for the lockoff units, which is basically both one bedroom units. I have stayed in all of them, and really like the 2 bedroom and the one bedroom Deluxe. Most units have ocean view, if not all.Resort sits right behind the beach, and it is beach front. You are just steps away from the sand. It has an infinity pool, and lots of chairs to sit. There are units with patio doors to the pool, and noise from other guest has not been an issue. They have a fitness room next to the front desk that looks to the pool. There is a game room with different games to play, and movies to rent for free in case of a rainy day.Overall, this is one of the best places to stay in Galveston. Very close to Galveston shopping centers, beach front, great pool, all units have kitchens, good service and maintenance of the resort.Tips: try to avoid units located on the east side, specially e12 and e22, as these units are right next to the pool pumps and they make lots of noise all day and night, they sound like someone is flushing a toilet constantly.

All the staff is very friendly and helpful, the facilities are definitely due for an upgrade. I would also say that housekeeping could spend just a little bit more attention to reading rooms for the next guest. It seems as though our room was prepared in a rush. Location and proximity to waterfront is a definite plus!

Have stayed here 6 times, only negative experience is trying to check in early. Normal.check in is 4 pm twice we arrived an hour early and was told housekeeping is.working on our room...checkout is 10am, hardly a car in the parking lot, but yet our room wasnt ready?? BS...they said they would call us when its ready, they called just before 4:00...all this after I called 24hrs in advance and said we would be there early...anyway, its a great place to stay with nice rooms and view of the gulf, just dont expect to check in early..

One of the best stays ever!!! We have been staying with ihg properties for years...even out of the country... this Galveston property totally rocks!!! We have stayed here many times with different family members and this property meets everyone’s needs. This stay was a romantic getaway and we had the best time! Cooked in our kitchen and ate dinner looking out over the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. We love you all for making this a wonderful experience!

Great place for families had a great time! The price was worth it and having a kitchen and access to beach. Great for families that want to save money eating out as there is full kitchen in each suite.

The whole stay was excellent. The desk rep. was exceptionally welcoming. The villa was very clean and well-equipped. We definitely will be returning!

We came from Northern North Dakota to Waco for a wedding so since weve never seen the ocean we couldnt be that close and not go - Galveston was the most convenient area to travel to and this hotel was attractive because it had direct beach access! The villa room was amazing even though we had a very short stay. We had a great view and the rooms were clean and updated. I was a bit disappointed with the shower, I felt like that wasnt as updated as the rest of the space. Theres no breakfast but that was an ok sacrifice for the beach access. Front desk was friendly. Everyone even guests was very friendly. We had a great experience overall!

We have been coming to this hotel for years, however, this last stay was completely disappointing for my family & I. Prior to booking, we were NOT informed that their would be no room service, no housekeeping, no coffee machines for the room, no breakfast, and the list goes on, due to covid-19. This made our stay difficult with a handicapped family member. I understand they can’t control CDC guidelines, but I would have greatly appreciated it if I was informed of all the changes before booking. Lastly, the front desk woman, Deanna I believe, was extremely rude to my mother over a refund for breakfast we never received but paid for (the restaurant downstairs is closed completely, they’ll tell you it’s open in the morning but that was not true) and I especially did not appreciate that. There was left over trash from people before us under the bed & our shower curtain was moldy. We will most likely never be staying here again. I am not one to write reviews like this but I’d hate for someone to make the same mistake we made.

Stayed 4 days in Galveston, TX and it was beautiful. Great sea food too. Moody Gardens Pyramids is a must see.

This is one of the few properties actually on the beach, not on the seawall. Beautiful rooms, great pool and easy access to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Check in went smooth, front desk helpful and pleasant. The room was an older one and it seemed like floors hadn’t been mopped in a long time and pull out sofa mattress was covered in crumbs...etc. everything else in room was as advertised and in good working order.

Having a great week here. Staying Friday to Friday in a 2 bedroom lockout unit (2 one bedroom units that are connected). Weather is great this week. The pool area is wonderful with a hot tub. Easy walk to the beach. There is a work out room also.

We are timeshare holders so going to Galveston is a favorite and we love staying here. The staff are very nice . We checked in late on our last visit . and they were still very helpful and upbeat. The property was very clean and well taking care of. Nicely decorated and right on the beach. We will definitely return to this property

This was an amazing club. The rooms were amazing, our rooms came fully equipped with everything you need to cook meals in your room.

Love this place. Its right on the beach so you can take a nice walk when you get up or anytime of the day. The people in the office are great. They were very helpful for places to go and eat. They also told use to go to the other resort down the street for a day pass where we played a couple games of putt putt. We also had ice cream there where we met people that worked at that HI Resort. They were great also. Had some fun with them. All the people were so great. Will definitely go back. Just going to be a hard decision as to which one to stay at.
